The house was amazing. Morning views of the bay in Rockport were awesome! The accommodations at the house were top notch for our group of 8 adults. We did discuss that it was probably not an ideal place to stay with small children but again for our group it was perfect.
Vacasa was easy to book reservations with and they were great at communication up to, during, and after our stay in Port Aransas, TX. The home we stayed in, The Sandcastle, was amazing. It was very clean, well-stocked with nice kitchenware, and the bedding and towels were great! And all appliances worked well. We will definitely use them again!

We arrived about 11:30 pm after a long drive. Unit was unlocked, but we were so tired we just took showers and went to bed. The next morning we discovered why it was unlocked. The code wouldn’t allow us to lock up and leave. The back- up lockbox in this beach condo needed a butter knife just to move the dials. We finally got the lockbox open to find a rusty key fob that and key that got stuck in the door. Two emergency calls to ask for assistance. 2.5 hours later with no resolution we locked our valuables in the car and headed to the beach. We were notified that the problem had been resolved and were issued a four digit code. This was our ONLY day to play and have fun as we had to check out the next morning. We made the best of it, but after having a nice dinner at a restaurant we returned to discover the new code didn’t work. More calls, more time wasted. At one point during calls for support it was implied we were at fault. I took pictures of the keypad that looks like the salt air has damaged it, the lockbox and rusty key. Who spends one full day at the beach and pays for two nights just to have several hours wasted with a safety issue?!?! We asked for a late checkout to try and get more beach time but were denied. Shame on yall for making our ONE DAY of play so stressful.
We have stayed in this condo before, ( South Padre-Florence I # 303), but this visit was completely unacceptable. When we arrived, we found visible mold throughout the condo—not just in one area, but on walls, ceilings, vents, and other surfaces. There were also multiple housekeeping and maintenance issues, including sandy floors and countertops, a moldy shower curtain, no hot water at the kitchen sink, and dangerously high shower water pressure. We reported the condition immediately, but despite the management company advertising 24/7 service, no one came to help. We followed up the next morning and never received a response or any follow-up during our stay. The amount of mold we saw was extensive and clearly did not develop overnight. We cannot understand how this condo was cleaned, inspected, or rented in this condition. After returning home, we were told the mold had been “cleaned,” but given what we witnessed, we have serious doubts that the underlying problem was properly addressed. We received no meaningful resolution, no compensation, and eventually no communication at all. We cannot recommend staying here. Until the mold and moisture issues are professionally remediated, we believe this property should not be rented to guests. Our family will not be returning
I’ve tried contacting customer service a few times about this but I keep getting ghosted. We found a sex toy in the rental and we just wanted our cleaning fee returned because obviously the room was not cleaned. I’m sad about it because before this I only had bad experiences with AirBnb and only good experiences with Vacasa. I fear I will have to give AirBnb another shot now.

Vacasa was very easy to work with and very attentive in helping us with a minor issue at the property. They answered us right away and had the issue resolved quickly. They are the BEST!!
We had a wonderful experience with Vacasa! Check-in and check-out were seamless, the property was exceptionally clean, and the local support team was professional and readily available when needed. Communication throughout our stay was excellent, making the entire process stress-free. We would highly recommend Vacasa and look forward to booking with them again!
The home was clean & stocked with everything we needed. The yard was spacious for both children and dogs to play.
Comfy place in great location. Very secure. Pool was awesome. Wish we could have stayed longer!
I could not make this trip. Bummed me out but I did offer it up to my Sister and she went for a couple days. Her and her husband enjoyed the trip and complimented the condo. They enjoyed its location and the environment that it was nestled in.
The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment you will need to cook up a meal. A grocery store sits within walking distance of the house. The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe, and is a short drive from many attractions, including downtown Arcata. We loved all the secondhand shops there and the famous coop that sits just off the central plaza. Arcata is perfectly located to visit places to the north and south. A couple of minor suggestions to improve the experience at the house would be to provide coffee enough for one morning (a kind of welcome coffee) and to make sure dog owners clean up after their pets in the backyard if they have stayed there.
Beautiful townhouse in a perfect location in the historic district of Savannah. Everything you need is plentiful in this gorgeous condo! We loved our time here!
Recently stayed 5 nights at Pamilla resort over July 4th. Great home and access to the beach and pools was easy and Vacasa was most helpful with any questions we had.
RENTERS BEWARE! Do not rent from Avari/Vacasa!!! Long story short (bc multiple things happened and it was a weeks long process) We checked into our room to find a filthy room and multiple locations of black mold!!! It took over 2 weeks to finally get my money back for the room but we also had to pay even more money for another room and last min (as it’s peak season and the World Series was happening while we were in town so there were very little options). We went back and forth for days during our trip but could get no one the phone. Finally had the property manager (Ashley) call and she told me she would be going to higher ups to get me a refund on the difference in my room as well as a refund on my Shores of Panama wrist band (since we were only there a night). I have yet to receive either of those and am now being told there’s nothing they can do. Ashley was extremely unprofessional and even had the audacity to tell us that she went and checked the room (over a week later) and if it made us feel any better.. it was just dirt. NOT MOLD and that they “cleaned it” and painted over it- disgusting!!! Aside from the money, our room was the filthiest place I have ever rented during my 15 years of vacationing in PCB. Save yourself the headache- DO NOT RENT FROM AVARI/VACASA!

Pleasant place to stay for a week at the beaches. The unit was spacious, clean and quiet. The proximity to the beaches of North Padre island was a huge plus. Also, it was mere steps from the pool area which was very nice and clean as well. A pet friendly stay was a must for us and this unit delivered. Would stay here again!
Very great communication, extremely helpful . Would use them again. Needed a broom to clean up condo called and they brought one over.
The phone number was answered immediately so I’m giving them a 2, and the person who answered was sympathetic and nice. However, everything else was questionable, at best. The house wasn’t cleaned when we arrived: the person on the phone called it a “miss clean” and not to worry, there was probably no one in the home but they’d stay on with me to be certain (wait, what?! There could be someone here?!!). It took over 24 hours to get someone in to clean the house. When they did show up, it was when we left for two hours to go to lunch- they snuck in while we were out to lunch. I had the fear again that someone was there while I was entering the house, alone. I’m guessing they were watching us with the cameras and knew when we’d gone to lunch. No one ever called to check if the house was cleaned or if everything had been taken care of - which it had not been. Food clearly visible on the floors, someone else’s hair getting tangled in my toes, someone else’s piss on the toilet seat... even after the “2 hours?” cleaning of a 3 story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. Just gross. Not to mention the fees are absurd. Never ever using Vacasa again.
