What people say

Be prepared to spend countless hours…

Be prepared to spend countless hours and 10 times as many credits as was estimated correcting m8stake made by the AI. It is ridiculous how simple instructions can be ignored or just rendered completely wrong. When it works it is incredible but expect 10x the money and effort.

This was the worse $39 I have EVER…

This was the worse $39 I have EVER SPENT!!! Spend multiple hours over multiple days trying to get a 1 minute 30 video to post. The product was so poorly completed that I would be embarrassed to share it with even my wife, never mind in the public realm. A complete waste of time and money. None of the lip sync clips were correct, they kept replacing my wife's picture with some random women. Used up all my credits trying to get this at least acceptable, but failed at every turn. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS PRODUCT.

I Give Up

To their credit, VidMuse has refunded some of the credits I've burned on endless bad generations. But I just tried making a simple woman and her cats video, 2:30, and not a single shot was usable. 5 thousnd credits for nothing. So I went back to just using it to generate scenes from starting frames and it couldn't even get that right. A neon heart suddenly lights up out of nowhere. Huh? I still have half a year with 20K credits a month to go, but I think I'll just bag it. I admit I wasted my money on VidMuse, but I'm not going to keep wasting my time, too. The bottom line is this; I'm sure VidMuse is fine for making videos of dragons in outer space. But no one can say, hey, that's not what a dragon in space really looks like. My videos are supposed to look real. VidMuse just can't handle creating realistic videos.

illegal international theft

illegal international theft. Useless....avoid like the plague. They get things wrong and charge you for putting them right and then don't put them right. Should be taken out of service...I wasted nearly £90 and the end product did not follow my instructions.....theft. This was for a 1min 24 second video. They do not rectify their own mistakes and you have to keep buying credits continuously. Even their replies here are AI.

Paid for a video

Paid for a video — credits taken, no video delivered. Can’t find proper support. I paid approx £8 for a complete music video. You delivered only partial images and my own uploaded music — NO finished video. Credits consumed, service not delivered. This is unacceptable. I request: Full refund of £8 to my payment method OR immediate completion of my video at no extra cost Your platform provides no direct support email or refund path — this is poor practice. I expect a reply within 48 hours. Project: "Who You Callin' Dawg" Subject: FORMAL COMPLAINT — Free trial → pressured to pay → still no finished video To VidMuse, I am writing to formally complain and request a refund. This is what happened: 1. I started creating my video believing it was part of a free generation. 2. Partway through, I was told I needed to pay to continue. I paid approximately £8 in good faith, assuming this would deliver the complete finished video. 3. Before the video had even finished generating — before it was complete — I was told I needed to pay EVEN MORE money to finish it. 4. I refused to pay a second time. Now I have NO finished video at all. 5. All I have are a few short clips — which on their own are useless. I do not have a complete video. I do not have what I paid for. This is not right. You should not: - Present something as free → then demand payment partway through - Take payment → then demand MORE before the job is finished - Leave the customer with nothing usable to show for their money I did not pay for partial clips. I paid for a complete music video. I do not have one. I request: - A FULL REFUND of the £8 I paid - OR my complete finished video delivered with no further charge I expect a response within 48 hours. Project: Who You Callin' Dawg

The Algorithym that builds the video is…

The Algorithym that builds the video is good but it takes you into a trap where you have to buy more credits to finish a video for one song. Not worth the hassle for the money trap. i had 3600 credits available and it wanted 1000 more to finish one song at $30 extra and i was on the PRO plan. needless to say i cancelled the subscription. Stay clear of it.

I originally signed up for the free…

I originally signed up for the free service then realised to get anything meaningful it was going to cost a months fee. I paid the £30 then when starting my video found that I would need many more credits than this would offer. I immediately tried to cancel informing vidmuse by email. Not only did I not receive a refund but I have then been charged for another month. This is outrageous. Please provide feedback and tell me when I will receive my refund!!!

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I was accidentally charged for a subscription on September 17, 2026. According to VidMuse AI's own policy, refunds are permitted if requested within a 7-day window. I logged an official refund request through their feedback portal on the exact same day the charge occurred. It has now been six days, and I have received absolutely no response. I sent a follow-up email directly to supportATvidmuse.ai today, September 23, to ensure there is an external paper trail before my 7 days are up. Their complete lack of support communication is unacceptable. I expect this to be resolved and my money returned immediately. Avoid this service if you value customer support or a clear refund process.

I created an ai video performance using…

I created an ai video performance using my original song track and my personal images to build the video on. The concepts were good, but the lip sync performance was horrible. I could not get the lips to match the words being sung. I worked with VidMuse for a week on this and they ended up telling me they could not improve it. Their interface and options are extremely confusing and no clues on screen as to where to begin. I have an ai generated script, music soundtrack, and my photos to upload from which to build the video, The create screen pushes templates, of which none fit my idea and concept. It's no better than a Reface attempt. They kept asking for my video to describe what I want. They are assuming I don't know exactly what I want. At the end of each month, any credits you have on hand get completely wiped out, which is terrible if you are not in need of the service everyday. I had thousands of credits on hand, but a new billing cycle wiped them out. I don't know if I can get a refund, but I otherwise wasted my time and money.

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback, and we’re sorry VidMuse did not deliver the experience or results you expected. We understand how frustrating it was to spend a week trying to achieve accurate lip sync with your original song and images, yet still not receive a usable result. Your feedback about the confusing workflow and template-first creation screen is also valuable, and we will share it with our product team. Monthly subscription credits are tied to the current billing cycle and do not roll over; a new allotment is issued each month. We recognize that this policy may not have been communicated clearly enough. We will send you an information request through Trustpilot so we can review your project, support history, and billing details. If we find a problem on our side, we will offer a corresponding refund or credit adjustment.

Glitchy Con

VidMuse seems to be programmed to 'glitch' and to fix the glitches users have to use more credits. It is basically a scam. Yes, it does generate AI, but the bait is that it incorporates glitches that should not be placed on the user to pay for. If a user wants to change something in the video, then an extra charge makes sense, but being charged for a glitch is a con job.

Reply from VidMuse2026-09-20

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We’re sorry that the credit charges made the experience feel unfair. Credits are used each time a video is generated. This also applies when modifying or regenerating an existing video, as the requested changes require a new generation process—not only when the user decides to change the original concept. That said, we understand that this is different from having to correct a result because the Planner misunderstood your instructions. We will send you an information request through Trustpilot so we can review the project, your original requests, the Planner’s actions, and the related credit usage. If we confirm that the issue was caused by the Planner incorrectly interpreting your instructions, we will provide an appropriate refund or credit adjustment.

I originally purchased a weekly…

I originally purchased a weekly subscription, after a week I noticed a $39.00 charge on my bank account. I have sent multiple emails to customer support to cancel my subscription with no response from them. There is no way to contact them other than email. I requested a full refund due to the fact that I never signed up for a monthly subscription. This company is a scam, do not sign up for thier platform because they will continue to bill you even after you cancel. You never get to complete a video it just keeps telling you that you dont have enough credits, its a total scam, I would give 0 stars if I could.

Reply from VidMuse2026-09-20

We’re sincerely sorry for the unexpected charge and for not responding to your cancellation request in time. We will send you an information request through Trustpilot. Please provide the email address associated with your VidMuse account through that request so we can verify the subscription and billing details. Once the charge has been confirmed, we will process your refund and ensure the subscription status is handled appropriately.

VidMuse is the ABSOLUTE WORST

Update: I will say this: VIDMUSE IS A SCAM! On 09/13/2026, I cancelled my subscription and wrote a review detailing the horrible job they did with an unusable music video. Today (09/25/2026), I just discovered that they still billed me! The sad part about this is that I can't reach support because they refuse to respond. Legal action needs to be taken by everyone on TrustPilot to shut this piece of crap platform down! VidMuse is the ABSOLUTE WORST! I'll even go as far as saying that it's a scam! I initially had 12100 credits for a 4 minute 25 second music video. I uploaded the music, uploaded the character, had specific instructions for the script and emphasized accurate lip syncing. What I got was a video that looks like an oil painting with a few photorealistic scenes and a lip sync that matches maybe a total of 25 out of the 265 seconds. To fix the lip sync issue, I was charged basically all of my credits, and the problem was still not resolved. I contacted support twice about the lip sync issue. They gave me a total of 4500 free credits to fix the issue. In addition, I purchased an additional 4800 credits. Guess what happened? NOTHING!! The AI chatbot explained the lip sync issue as this: "Seedance 2.5 cannot produce frame-accurate phoneme sync from an audio reference. Regenerating these 22 clips with the same model and adding anamorphic/grain styling will improve the look, but will not guarantee accurate lip sync. The only way to get true word-level sync is OmniHuman V1.5 (audio-driven avatar model) — which renders as a portrait/talking-head format rather than the cinematic multi-shot format you designed." I opted to go the OmniHuman route and THAT failed also, while eating away at my credits. In the meantime, I made multiple attempts to fix the cartoon look. The chatbot said that they were fixed, but my timeline said otherwise. I was then told this about the lip sync: "If H3 is still producing mismatched lip sync on your spoken-word track, this is hitting the current ceiling of AI video generation technology. No amount of re-rolling or parameter adjustment will reliably fix it — the models simply don't yet have perfect spoken-word phoneme accuracy for all voices and cadences." So basically, VidMuse can advertise perfect lip sync, but they actually are limited. According to the chatbot, The real issues: Lip sync — The H3 model has a systematic offset problem where it aligns to the start of the audio clip rather than the track position. This affects nearly every clip. Support has not responded in 3 days despite multiple escalations. Photorealism — Despite multiple rounds of prompt rewrites, the AI generation models continue producing stylized/illustrated results on many clips. This is a genuine capability limitation — the models don't always honor photorealism instructions consistently. 17,000 credits spent — A significant portion of that was on regenerations caused by model failures, not your creative decisions. Just in case VidMuse is reading this, here's what was documented for support: Urgent escalation submitted. Here's exactly what was documented for support: 3 days with no response — flagged as unacceptable given the scale of the issue Lip sync root cause clearly stated — H3 model aligns to audio clip start, not track offset; support's own recommended workaround was tested and confirmed non-functional Photorealism failure documented — 10 specific clips listed that still render as cartoonish despite 5+ rounds of prompt rewrites Full credit spend breakdown — ~17,000 credits across 6 rounds of generation, majority caused by model failures not user changes Four specific demands made — 24-hour personal response, technical disclosure on lip sync capability, full credit audit and refund, honest disclosure of platform limitations I'm stuck with a video I can't use, I've used 17000 credits, and I'm still being asked to top up more credits to see if what they couldn't previously fix can be fixed. This is a total ripoff, and I wish there were some way to report this money grab.

Thank you for taking the time to document everything so clearly. We are truly sorry. You invested a considerable amount of time, money, and creative effort into this project, yet were left with an unusable video, depleted credits, and no timely response from our support team. We completely understand why this experience has damaged your trust in VidMuse, especially after multiple recommended solutions failed to resolve the problems. Your case deserves a thorough human review, not another generic troubleshooting response. We will send you an information request through Trustpilot so we can identify your account and carefully review the complete project history, generation results, credit usage, and previous support escalations. We will also examine whether the model’s lip-sync capabilities and limitations were communicated clearly and accurately throughout the process. We are especially sorry that you were left waiting after escalating such a serious issue. If our review confirms that credits were consumed because of problems on our side, we will provide an appropriate refund or credit adjustment.

Total waste of time – Extreme lack of transparency!

I spent nearly an hour (specifically 48 minutes and 53 seconds just waiting for the system's various procedures) setting up a music video based on the "free rewards" the platform gave me. The system happily let me go through the entire process, design the script, and generate a storyboard without giving ANY warning about the actual cost.Only at the very last step did it reveal that the video costs 5,594 credits, while my balance was only 281 credits. The free credits didn't even cover 5% of the video! They deliberately hide the price until the end to force you into buying a $39/month subscription after you have already wasted your time. This is dishonest design and shows a complete lack of respect for potential customers' time. Highly NOT recommended if you expect transparency

Hi, thank you for taking the time to share this. We are sorry the experience fell short of what you expected, especially around cost transparency and the time you invested. Cost transparency matters to us, and your feedback on when pricing is shown in the flow is something we take seriously. We will send you an information request through Trustpilot. If you can also share the specific project and issues you ran into, that will help us review your case carefully. I prepaid $360 for an annual PRO subscription. I'm supposed to get 4000 monthly credits. I haven't used it since February and should have had about 12,000 credit available. I only had 4000. Nowhere does it say that unused credits will expire the next month. I'm missing 8,000 credits. And, AS ALWAYS, the video is created with lots of errors. Songs way out of synch, people supposedly seated at a music club enjoying the rhythm keep changing from 1 person in the club, to 10 people, then the next scene shows just 3 people. It's extremely inconsistent. When you chat with the AI producer to correct the errors, suddenly you run out of credits and have to "top up" (as they call it). We're paying more for THEIR errors. This is a scam to force people to pay well beyond what you have already paid for. Not one of the three videos I made this year did not require purchasing extra credits, even though EVERY error was on the part of VidMuse. I'm am going going to cancel the rest of my subscription, and if VidMuse does not refund me or make this right, I will dispute the charges with my credit card. This is the WORST service ever.

Hi, thank you for sharing this feedback, and we are sorry the experience has been so frustrating. Regarding unused credits: on subscription plans, monthly credits are tied to the current billing cycle. They do not roll over to the next month, and a new credit allotment is issued each month. We understand this was not clear enough in your case, and we are sorry for the confusion around the credits you expected to accumulate. On the generation errors and the extra credits spent fixing them: please reply here with your VidMuse account email. We will carefully review your projects and, where issues are confirmed on our side, will provide a corresponding compensation or refund. We take your concerns seriously and want the chance to look into this properly.

Important facts about AI for musicians

I’m a customer on the $39/month plan and have been using VidMuse.ai for about four months. I’m not going to give it a one-star rating, as there are some redeeming qualities. However, as a musician, I’d like to point out a few issues that are particularly relevant to this field: 1. The process is excessively slow. I’ve literally been waiting 12 hours for a 32-second project to finish. 2. The interactive system often fails to correctly “understand” what you’re asking for, despite the detailed information provided. You’re led to believe that, for example, 2,450 credits will be enough. However, when the result isn’t what you expected, the agent offers to make corrections using other options—but doing so requires additional credits, which run out far too quickly. 3. In my case, the lip-syncing for a short verse performed by a four-member vocal group (barely four lines) never turned out correctly, even after trying about 10 different approaches, both with the group and with individual members. Eventually, the agent apologized and acknowledged that they didn’t have the tools to fix the issue. 4. I was never able to download the final video generated by the system. It looked fine when played on their site, but after five or six attempts, the downloaded file was always corrupted, allowing me to view only the opening scene. There may be more to say, but based on my experience, this application is definitely not suitable for creating music videos, even at an amateur level.

Hi, thank you for sharing such a detailed review. We are really sorry the experience fell short of what you needed as a musician, especially after four months on the platform. We hear you on the slow generation time, the credit usage during corrections, the lip-sync issues with your vocal group, and the corrupted downloads. These are exactly the kinds of problems we want to understand better, not dismiss. Please provide us with your VidMuse account email and, if possible, the project name for the 32-second video and the vocal group piece. We will carefully review your project history and follow up with a clear response. If we confirm issues on our side, we will offer a corresponding refund or credit adjustment. We appreciate you noting the redeeming qualities as well, and we would genuinely like the chance to look into this properly.

Scam company

Bad company, avoid, its nothing free Edit: You go through the whole time consuming process creating your first video using "free" credit, only for it to stop before last step requiring you to pay for a subscription to finalise the video. Feels like they bait you into a situation we're your you have built up an expectation of a great video and you either have to abort or pay without knowing if you will be satisfied with the results.

I paid for subscription got 3000 and it still was not enough

UPDATE: 21/08/26 - The platform continues to go downhill. Its now blocking any edits with an account block. Please do not use this site it is an absolute scam and if it ever works its full of bugs and credit eating errors. There is a reason why this site has over 65% 1 star AVOID at all costs you will lose money time and effort. I paid for subscription got 3000 credits. I initially started with a free 1000 credits. I uploaded a song and pictures of the artists. The original creation took 4000 credits before i was presented with an actual video. I then purchased an additonal 2400 credits . Most of this was spent correcting software bugs/errors that was created by the application and not my work. Each time an error was corrected it then created seperate errors and so and so on. I started to realise at this point that this was deliberate money drain on credits. Eventually Ai itself told me to make a complaint for credit reimbursemnets . I did this as the video was out of sync with singers and errors continued to self generate . Support gave back a dreadful 1000 credits but not accepting liability nor that the software itself was the issue. So my advice is avoid this platform. Plenty of others that seem more capable and more error free . Dont waste time and money here unless you planned for a few £00s without little prospect of success

I UPLOADED ACTUAL REAL PHOTOGRAPHS OF…

I UPLOADED ACTUAL REAL PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE 3 BAND MEMBERS. ALL CLEAR DISTINCT PHOTOS. FOR SOME REASON IT GAVE ALL MEMBERS LONG GREY BEARDS. i INSTRUCTED THE AI ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO REMOVE ALL BEARDS ON ALL BAND MEMBERS.........IT DIDN'T ............ IT ACTUALLY GAVE A LONG GREY BEARD TO A 3 OR 4 YEAR OLD CHILD. AT TIMES THE DRUMMER IS JUST SITTING THERE NOT EVEN PLAYING DRUMS.......THEN THE DRUMS ARE FACING TOWARD THE BACK OF THE STAGE AND THE DRUMMER IS SITTING FACING THE FRONT OF THE STAGE...THEN ANOTHER SCENE THE DRUMS ARE THERE ON STAGE WITH NO DRUMMER.....NO DRUMMER BUT THE SONG AND BAND ARE STILL PLAYING BUT NO DRUMMER. THE A. I KEPT GIVING THE DRUMMER A DIFFERENT HAT IN DIFFERENT SCENES, I WAS CLEAR ON THE TYPE OF HAT HE WEARS I UPLOADED A PICTURE OF THE DRUMMER WITH THE PROPER HAT A.I STILL GAVE HIM A DIFFERENT HAT. THE DRUM SET WAS TO HAVE A DOUBLE KICK DRUM AT TIMES IT DID AT TIMES IT DIDN'T IT HAD ONLY A SINGLE KICK DRUM THIS IS AN A.I ERROR NOT MINE YET I HAVE TO KEEP PAYING $$$$$$$$$$$$ TO FIX MORE ERRORS I USED UP ALL THE CREDITS FIXING ERRORS THEN HAD TO BUY MORE CREDITS TO TRY AND FIX MORE OF THE THE A.I. ERRORS. I SPENT APPROX 12 HOURS WAITING AND WORKING WITH THE A.I. THIS IS IMPORTANT IT KEPT ON REPEATING THE SAME MISTAKES EVEN MAKING THE SITUATION WORSE. I CANNOT USE THE VIDEO THAT WAS CREATED FOR THE GLOBAL VILLAGE BAND CALLED GLOBAL NEWS I WOULD LIKE A FULL REFUND PLEASE DONT TELL ME ABOUT THE LIMITATIONS OF THE A.I I GET THAT, I KNOW THAT, I UNDERSTAND THAT............ THIS IS BEYOND A MISTAKE WHEN YOU UPLOAD A PICTURE OF A GUY A BAND MEMBER AND THE A.I DECIDES TO GIVE HIM A 4 INCH LONG GREY BEARD EVEN AFTER BEING TOLD TO RENDER THE IMAGE AS CLOSE TO THE PICTURE AS POSSIBLE....THEN IT GIVES ALL BAND MEMBERS A LONG GREY BEARD AND JUST FOR LAUGHS IT SHOWS A CHILD WITH A LONG GREY BEARD WHAT IS GOING ON? THERE ARE MANY MANY MORE ERRORS IN THE VIDEO SOME MINOR BUT I HAVE GIVEN UP ON TRYING TO CORRECT ANYMORE OF THIS MUSIC VIDEO.

We're sorry to hear how much time and credits went into this project without a result you could actually use. Specific failures like beards appearing on every member including a child, the drummer vanishing or facing away from the kit, and props changing between scenes are exactly the kind of issues we want to investigate thoroughly. We've sent you an information request — please share your project ID and the reference photos you uploaded through that channel, and we'll review your case and the generation logs in detail.
