I just received my order and I am pleased
I just received my order and I am pleased with the yarns. The yarn is a little bit pricey but the company offered a discount which helped. The yarn is cotton but has a clean finish which will make the stitches look good.

I did a gauge swatch for the Venice Tee…
I did a gauge swatch for the Venice Tee but the knitting looked too loose even though the gauge was correct. It was going to turn out to be a very baggy tee. I went down a needle size and the gauge is a bit smaller for both rows and stitches as would be expected but it looks so much better and more like the photos. It is easy enough to adjust for size. I’m just a little concerned that I now may not have enough yarn.🧶

Hi Patricia, Venice Tee is a summer project, it's supposed to be light and fresh. Reducing your needles size may end with a different drape. This is also increasing your yarn usage, so yes, you might have to purchase additional skeins.

First class customer service
I have been a customer for many years and love their kits. The option to include knitting needles/crochet hook reduces my panic in scrabbling around to find one. When I made my recent order (WIP project bag) I had cause to contact customer service. Vincent helped enormously, keeping me updated and responding quickly to my emails providing a resolution. I have no hesitation in recommending We Are Knitters, I will definitely be using them again.

My email inquiry was answered very quickly and I appreciate that. I was going to return the yarn as it was not the weight that I originally thought as I had purchased some couple of months earlier in same color not realizing when I reordered it was a thicker yarn. They were ready to refund me but I decided to keep it and make another project and will order the correct weight when it comes in at the end of the month.

⚠️ Very disappointed with We Are Knitters. Order #568211 Order date: June 22, 2026 The problem is not that delivery takes one week. Your website clearly states that this is the expected delivery time, and I completely accept that. The real problem is that an entire week has passed and I still have absolutely no information about my order. The only status shown is “Waiting for information.” I don’t know if my order has been shipped, where it is, or when it will arrive. At this point, I honestly don’t even know if it will arrive this year. For the premium prices you charge, this level of customer service is unacceptable. Communication is practically non-existent, and it’s frustrating that customers have to complain publicly just to get an update. If you cannot provide reliable information about my order, I expect a full refund. I hope someone from your team finally responds and resolves this situation.

Dear Carlos, our Customer Service is opened from 8AM to 5PM (Madrid time), Mondays to Fridays, no need to create 10 tickets after 10PM, we would have answered the very first one first thing the very next day. ;-) Your parcel has shipped on June 24th, for an order placed on June 22nd at 7:46PM. You should have received your tracking link by email. We sincerely apologize if this was not the case. Our Customer Service will send you all the information by email for confidentiality reasons. I constantly have trouble logging on…
I constantly have trouble logging on and staying on your website. It makes me log in again every time I try to check my order statue. Also it is very hard to follow the status of my order and the content of my order on your website.. I like to be able to go back and check my orders and it should be easier to track the order through the website. If you had a more informative, user friendly order history for each account I think people would appreciate it. I love your sweaters though... the hand painted multi color yarns and the way you have color blocked the sweater designs is very new and fresh! good work! It makes me really want to knit your sweaters!

the yarn had multiple knots in it and was delivered in a brown box.. it was raining when delivered yarn and paper with pattern code wet.. deliveries need to be sent in better packaging.

Overpriced and slow delivery
I’m not massively impressed with the value for money or the delivery time. Because it’s a digital pattern, which I’ll have to print out myself, I’ve basically just paid 60 quid for four balls of wool. That doesn’t include any needles either – and I got a discount! I think that’s quite disgusting actually. It also took well over the amount of time they stated on their website to arrive – it says 5 to 6 days for delivery to the UK and it took 12. When I contacted customer service about this, they got back to me quickly but didn’t offer any compensation or reason for the delay. All in all, a pretty disappointing experience. I won’t be buying from them again.
