Misleading sales promises, measurement errors caused multiple re-vists. We chose Westshore after meeting with Abram, who outlined options and assured us he would coordinate and attend the install. The installation team was polite, but initial measurements were wrong and essential materials were missing. Although the contract required the shower be ready on installation day, the errors meant teardown and rework were necessary. The crew returned twice more; the project took several extra visits and time to complete. Given the cost and the inconvenience, I cannot recommend Westshore based on our experience!

My boyfriend and I received a quote, but decided at our appointment to keep the one-year guarantee on that quote and continue shopping around. The employee who came to our home was very kind until we declined the quote - he instantly became condescending and rude and made us uncomfortable in our own home. Instead of gentle nudging to try to get us to take the offer, which we understand is his job, he started shaking his head at us while we filled out his in-person review and spoke down to us about not moving forward. We felt so uncomfortable that we left a positive review on his form out of fear of his declining behavior. For these reasons, as well as a quote of $19,000 on a small shower remodel, we will not be contacting West Shore again and will urge anyone who needs work done on theirs to find a kinder and less gouging place to go.

Installation of bathroom remodel took over five weeks. We had to accept minimal compensation for the inconvenience. Surprised the sales consultant kept his job.

I had a horrible experience with West Shore. What I paid for and was promised was far different than what I received after having a crew at my house for 2 days. The shower was fine, the new toilet worked, but the trim work and flooring was the absolute worse case I’ve ever laid eyes on. The men obviously knew nothing about measuring and cutting a floor, laying it, or how to properly install baseboard. The corner baseboard joints didn’t touch, the baseboard wasn’t flush with the wall, nor was it sealed with caulk (although they did get caulk on my new carpet in an attached room), the flooring didn’t go under the door frame, which they cut too short and can never be fixed. They did not put any quarter round down! The door threshold was cut too short and the ends were filled in with a round glob of caulk. My salesman told me I didn’t need to cover the furniture in the adjoining room and after demolition, the furniture and bedding had an inch of grit and grime on it. I had to vacuum my bed before pulling the covers back! Their dirty shoes left dark marks on my carpet because they didn’t take care with the floor covers. They broke the wand on my window blinds and left it on my dresser without telling me it was broken. Then the crew team leader had the nerve to ask for a 5 star rating!! Seriously? I had to rant and rave to get another crew out here to tear out the floor and all the trim work and do it right. However, no one informed me a new team was coming! I didn’t know they were scheduled until they rang my doorbell at 8:30 one morning. Who does that?? After 5 days, I now have a bathroom that looks good, but I suffered high blood pressure and loss of sleep over it. They are lucky I gave them 2 stars. And the guy that headed up my job no longer works for West Shore. Too bad he wasn’t fired before my job!

had a walk in shower installed. our installers wereEd nad Chris. they were both professional and friendly. when they arrived they put down tarps to protect our floors.they got right to the install. we new the water would be off. before we new it it was back on these guys dont play. when they left they made sureeverything was clean and done to our satisfaction. The company should be very proud of these to men

Easy to contact. Easy to schedule. GREAT team of installation people!! Marquis was an exceptional "lead," and he and Chris were here for day two of our bathroom renovations. Everyone who worked on project 610091, which was a two-day project, was knowledgeable, helpful, and considerate. One glitch was damage to sheetrock, but Gary Reilly took care of that in a timely manner. Everyone gets a 5-Star review from our household!

Let it be clear that I’m not giving a 5 star rating to West Shore Home, since my experience with them as a company has been dismal, but the review is of their Lead Technician Chase Miller, who came to my home today to attempt to change the frame of the door, because the one installed by WS was the wrong colour, & it clashed tremendously with the decor of my home around the new front door that WSH installed. As it has been the case in the past, the new frame brought to be installed was the wrong measurements & it did not fit around the door. Chase was thorough, checking with me all the inconsistencies of this door installation, & fixed what was fixable. Since I only received one of the two keys that I was supposed to get upon installation of the new door, he took it upon himself to remedy the company’s oversight & went to make the copy for me & brought it back. He was thorough in going over the list of issues I had with this $18K door, & remedied what could be remedied. It was a very thorough & professional visit by Chase, & I hope that once WSH gets the correct frame to be installed, Chase is assigned the job to replace it. One thing that WSH does right, is employing technicians of Chase’s caliber to perform the installations & corrections of their product.

This time there is a leak from the shower causing wet wall and carpet. I haven’t had a lot of good luck with this company.

West Shore Home was invited into our home for a walk-in shower installation. When we met with their representative for the initial estimate, we explicitly informed him that we were still in the process of gathering bids from other contractors. To encourage us to sign the contract immediately, the salesman specifically assured us that, as senior citizens, we were entitled to a five-day cancellation window. We relied on this verbal promise when we signed the agreement. We submitted our cancellation on the fifth day, only to be informed that the written contract stipulates a three-day window and that we are now being held liable for 35% of the contract value. We find this demand for payment unacceptable given that we were explicitly misled by their representative regarding our right to cancel. We have requested that they honor the five-day cancellation period promised by the salesman and waive the associated fees, which they denied. Our education is still costing us; it's just not in a classroom.
