I do not like to be consigned to a subway in extreme heat, when I feel my registration should cover a coach bus. Walking requirements were extensive as well in a group of older individuals.

Our guide was amazing and flexible during a really hot week in France. Our itinerary was packed, but not so busy that we felt overwhelmed. Good food, great sights, and amazing support from WS throughout the trip.

The flight arrangements did NOT give us enough time between layovers. We had two layovers with just an hour before the next flight. Both times we rushed from one plane to the other, had no time to get water or use the bathroom. It is unprofessional to give so little time between flights ESPECIALLY when that flight lands in another country (Australia to New Zealand) and you have to go through customs.
The itinerary was NOT followed. This made it really stressful to travel. I never knew how to prepare for the next day and, as a result, ended up with motion sickness (because I left my medicine at the hotel). This kind of thing is so avoidable. Your itinerary online should have more details of what to expect (long winding drives, boat rides, gondolas) so travelers can prepare.

it was so well planned out. Our local hostess, Paula, is sooo helpful. The tour directors were great. One may have been just a little over zealous, but they certainly kept us in line. It was exciting, beautiful, full of different things so everyone got a chance to do something they loved.

We had a wonderful tour guide who was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure everyone on the tour had a good experience. My only feedback is that I felt like London would have been better earlier in the trip before everyone was so tired.

It was a wonderful trip! Cairns had a beautiful botanical garden and the lagoon area that we weren’t even shown by the tour guide. Those would be great places for travelers to visit—and they are FREE!
Our motel rooms were amazing in NZ and Sydney, but cairns room was poor.

David Beach was an AMAZING tour guide!! He was energetic and provided so much detail. Worldstrides and Explorica were great with getting uber vouchers and hotel accommodations with cancelled flights.

Greg (our guide) was great. Also, the cities selected were really lovely (especially Delphi). The food was much lower quality than my EF trip through Italy a few years ago.

Too rushed. Below average guide in NYC (she nearly lost the whole group in Times Square). You really need two more days in DC and at least one more in NYC, so you can really let each sight soak in. Our guide in Washington DC was amazing and super knowledgeable. I think we were extremely lucky to have her and would request her in the future.

The tour is always a great one to say the least. When a company is able to squeeze in this much history in a week with 100 students it’s amazing. The tour guide, Karen, was phenomenal. She is patient and kind and knows how to relate to the students and adults alike. Each year I learn something different on this trip and it never gets old. Thank you for making this trip memorial for myself and all my students.

The knowledge that our guide shared added so much to the experience. He also did his best to answer any questions we had, and if he did not know the answer, he looked it up for us. He worked nonstop to make sure that everything was prepared for each step of the trip. He helped streamline procedures when arriving at each destination and gave clear instructions. He allowed us to just enjoy the trip without having to worry about anything. This is the only way I would recommend someone travel internationally.

This trip was empowering yet misleading. I was let down by how many locations/sites were only a drive-by or a walk-by vs actually entering and experiencing the historical site. I wish I had known ahead of time how much free time we were to be given. I love having free time for sure but I would've game planned better and researched to use my time more wisely. Many of the dinners we had together were disappointing. I would've rather ordered off a menu and paid more. I felt like the meals were very rushed so they could get the next large group served. Three of our four hotels were so far away from City Center. I'm assuming it had to do with expense, especially if flights were higher priced than anticipated. The breakfasts at the hotels were so very disappointing but were clean and had friendly staff. The first two cities required a 45-60 minute train ride (one way) to any of the sites from hotel. However, our tour guide Jammie was great and felt bonded by the end of the trip. I felt like our trip was empowering for many because it taught us transportation, using trains and subways. I feel more confident going back on my own because of that. I feel the young adults on the trip will be able to navigate more confidently when they return! Some people are not confident to explore with free time so they should get a heads up before booking the trip. It was a very special trip but also exhausting doing four cities in 8 days! We made wonderful memories and it prepared us to travel more confidently in the future. I am glad we did it!
