The itinerary was great. The places and sites we were able to see was breath taking and made a memorable impression. There was a few hiccups with hotels and meals but overall a nice trip.

We enjoyed the trip overall
We enjoyed the trip overall. However, a few logistical issues made the flight stressful. While I know we were a large group, having us on 4 separate flights with varying schedules was, I'm sure, stressful for our directors. The layovers between flights were too close together. While our flight over was delayed by weather, there was little wiggle room to accommodate delays and still get through security. This was very evident on the flight home when our flights were on time, but we still had students running to make the flight. I would suggest that, in the future, you work to allow more time between flights. The buses that were hired to take us home from Atlanta were awful. The bus we were on smelled so strongly of urine that it made people feel sick. Overall, the experience in Germany and Austria was wonderful, but the logistical planning seemed like there could be room for improvement.

Bountiful Experience with Plentiful Historic Visits
Noah had an amazing time and said he is so glad he decided to go on this trip with his school/friends! The historic experience was fast-paced and extremely educational. A lot of traveling to and from, with stop-and-go. They visited all of the historic stops in Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Maryland/Virginia. The trip was safe, and the restaurant stops and hotel food were coordinated well. The teachers kept them on task, and the WS efforts were plentiful. Thank you for opportunities like this in the schools!

Great tour guides, wonderful locations and options for activities and tours. The group size made logistics difficult, and I believe a smaller size group would have made a huge difference in the overall quality of the trip. The teachers and parents involved in planning the trip were amazing!

Our entire experience was very smooth and effortless on our end. World Strides handled all transit, meal prep, tickets for excursions, plane tickets, etc. It saved us so much time and potential frustration as everything was already managed for us. Our tour director was AMAZING and very accommodating/flexible with our needs, especially during a record heat wave. We had high quality, experienced, knowledgable, and caring guides. I still can't get over just how easy everything was. Will definitely work with World Strides again.

This is the second trip we have taken with World Strides/ Explorica and have been extremely well supported. WS looks after every detail and goes above and beyond to make sure every detail of the trip is the best experience possible. If something gets off, (that is the nature of things sometimes), they go above and beyond to compensate us and make sure we have a great experience.
We have been able to customize our trips and make get the best bang for our buck. Coming from Kodiak AK, we have been thrilled with the details and filling every moment with amazing experiences.

The first day was really rough! Our group hadn’t slept much because of the plane ride, then immediately went on a 23,000 step walking tour in 95 degree heat. Our students were sleeping during lunch, one was passing out and had to be wheeled out in a wheelchair and ubered to hotel. We were told if we went back to the hotel we wouldn’t be able to have our dinner. Crazy! Would much rather had time to rest or had a bus tour from such a long journey to get to Spain. The positives: Our tour guide Veronica was awesome!, Our bus driver Fran was awesome!, we saw so many historical and beautiful sites. The Mediterranean Sea was awesome! Well worth it! Spain is gorgeous! The negatives, first day fiasco, some hotels we stayed at were sub par, the B&B hotel’s food was not good. We were told we were getting authentic Spain dishes and they gave us mashed potatoes with paprika and chicken nuggets, for dessert packaged yogurt and a piece of fruit, another hotel had fire ants, the last hotel had air conditioners that were so old they rattled the windows and you couldn’t sleep. Spain is awesome, accommodations need to be modified and more consideration on the first day jet lag exhaustion!

I loved the New Zealand part of the trip. Tour director and bus driver were amazing. However, the Australian tour director was very rude and condescending to me when I asked questions, in particular to me, about her instructions. Also, very disappointed that the Cairns part of my specific groups' trip was cancelled, but same option was offered to all the other groups.
