Wonderful platform. I was matched with an amazing mentor and contributed greatly to the establishment of his business and its online presence. I acquired many skills during this mentorship. Grateful for the entire Acadium team for comimg up with this.
SCAM!
The definition of Bait n switch.
They do not match you with actual people. These are ghost accounts without real humans behind them.
Because I was "communicated with" via something in their online app....I am now considered a client receiving services. LOLOLOLOLOL
I asked for a refund - they hid behind their iron-clad 'NO REFUND' Policy.
No matches were ever made for me. they took my money and then COLLEEN HAY, the person who sold this to me, disappeared! go find her on LinkedIn, before she finds you, and gives you a gfreat story
about how they will match you wityh an intern.
cool story bro.
hope you are proud of your place in the business community. Karma is real.
Acadium is a great platform, and I would highly recommend it to any small business owners looking for interns to help scale their business and provide mentorship. It was a great opportunity for both the intern and myself, and it provided excellent personal development for the intern. I have no complaints.
I paid for a business service represented as providing “fully vetted” apprentices with solid
skills in social media and marketing. I was told these were college students or recent
graduates capable of producing this work.
I interviewed the provided “apprentice,” and the individual not only failed to meet even
the most basic qualifications and readiness represented, but was unable to demonstrate
any meaningful social media or marketing competency at all. Further, the individual was
unable to communicate clearly and presented poor, error-ridden “work” samples, many of
which appear to have been hastily created with AI.
Frankly, the interview was so far below what was represented and promised that I have
serious concerns about the company’s practices. The whole process appears designed to
attract clients with a professional presentation and sales pitch, only to provide clearly
unemployable individuals incapable of performing the promised work. By disqualifying
refunds at the exact moment a client first encounters the assigned “apprentice,” the
company ensures they retain payment no matter what.
This represents a significant and material discrepancy between the service as advertised
and the service delivered. Immediately following the interview, I notified Acadium,
canceled my account, and requested a refund, which was denied.
I am disputing this charge with AmEX - who has so far and unbelievably upheld charge - and the Better Business Bureau, on the basis of a gross misrepresentation and failure to deliver
the promised service.
Undisclosed Recurring Billing. No Phone Support or Communication. Avoid."
I signed up for Acadium and was charged $997 on February 14, 2026 on my American Express card. At no point during the signup process was it made clear that this was a recurring charge. For a charge of this size, that is not a small omission — it is a dealbreaker. I never would have agreed.
When I tried to get my money back, I hit a wall. No phone support. Email responses that go nowhere. A refund policy designed to make sure you never qualify.
I am not alone. Scroll through the reviews here and you will see the same story repeated: undisclosed recurring billing, impossible cancellations, denied refunds. Multiple customers — including me — have had to go directly to their credit card companies to get their money back.
I have filed a dispute with American Express and a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
If you are thinking about signing up: the service may sound appealing. But understand exactly what you are agreeing to before you hand over your credit card. And know that if anything goes wrong, you will be on your own.
Acadium is the best place to gain real life marketing experience as an apprentice. Within 3 years that I have joined Acadium, I have worked with about 6 entrepreneurs from different part of the world, and I have learnt a lot from them. I gained marketing experience, my mindset grew because I associate with people from different cultures and time zone. The benefits are unmeasurable.
My journey with Acadium began in 2019 through my first digital marketing apprenticeship, and since then, I have successfully completed 12 more apprenticeships on the platform. Each experience has helped me build practical, real-world skills and gain valuable hands-on experience working with different businesses.
I’m truly grateful for the learning opportunities, mentorship, and growth Acadium has made possible over the years. The platform has played a major role in shaping my digital marketing journey, and I remain committed to continuing to learn, grow, and support businesses through Acadium. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to gain experience and develop meaningful skills in digital marketing.
Hello so through Acadium I was able to get my first work experience in Digital Marketing. From there things snowballed in me getting 2 jobs very well paid. So much so I can now move out of my house. Without Acadium I would be stuck in poverty with no chance at social mobility despite holding a college degree. I owe them a lot.
I'm the founder and CEO of Joyfully Transcend™. I’ve had a great experience working with this internship placement company. They have consistently done their best to match me with interns who have the skills I requested, and when a placement hasn’t been the right fit, they’ve been quick and proactive in rematching me with someone more aligned. I really appreciate that level of responsiveness and support.
So far, I’ve worked with two interns — one who completed her term and one I’m currently working with. Both have been hardworking, eager to learn, and genuinely committed to the mission of my organization. They take their roles seriously, and their contributions have helped me move my work forward significantly.
I also value that the company provides opportunities for feedback on both sides. I’m able to share feedback about the interns, and the interns can share their experience working with me. This creates a balanced, transparent process that benefits everyone.
Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this organization. Their service has been extremely helpful, very affordable, and instrumental in helping me get further, faster. I have no complaints — only appreciation.
Improve Your Digital Marketing In A Real World Setting!
Acadium has provided a great opportunity to work on my digital marketing skill set in a real world setting. There has never been a delay in getting set up with a new business and each business gave me free range to work on what I wanted to improve while helping them with their business. It's a simple process that provides a great experience. I recommend it.
Acadium has been a wonderful experience for me as I continue to grow in my digital marketing and AI journey.
I joined the platform to gain hands-on experience, and I’ve been fortunate enough to connect with mentors who genuinely care about helping me learn and succeed. Through my apprenticeships, I’ve improved my skills in social media strategy, content creation, and AI automation—skills I’m now using to support real businesses.
What I love most is that Acadium makes learning practical. You’re not just watching lessons—you’re applying what you learn directly with mentors and clients. It’s a great bridge between education and real-world experience.
My only suggestion would be to offer more advanced training options or longer mentorships for those ready to go deeper into strategy and leadership roles.
Overall, I’m grateful for the significant growth I’ve achieved through Acadium. It’s an amazing opportunity for anyone serious about building their career and confidence in digital marketing and entrepreneurship.
Excellent Platform for Starting a Career in Marketing
I’ve had a great experience with Acadium. Over time, I completed four apprenticeships across different domains of marketing, and each one gave me valuable hands-on learning. The platform made it easy to connect with mentors and businesses, which helped me build confidence and skills while gaining real-world experience.
Acadium also gave me the opportunity to work remotely and collaborate with international clients across different time zones. This not only improved my communication skills but also gave me exposure to global work environments. It has truly helped me set a solid foundation for my career in marketing.
What makes Acadium stand out is how accessible it is for people who want to get their foot in the door. The support from mentors and the diversity of projects allowed me to learn quickly and apply my skills in practical settings. I highly recommend Acadium to anyone who wants to gain meaningful experience and grow in the field of marketing.
My 3-month project contract with a pan-Canadian company, was a dynamic and rewarding experience. I worked on marketing operations design and automation, creating workflows and serving as an interface with international project companies.
I received deep, hands-on experience and training with HubSpot CRM and used Make to optimize marketing processes. I also contributed to webpage design and applied my existing skills in research, analysis, and marketing strategy to enhance project outcomes. This role expanded my skill set and experience, helped me break into marketing operations, and provided the opportunity to communicate effectively across multiple time zones.
This was an excellent use of my time. My mentor was a highly skilled and experienced polymath, offering a broad perspective and invaluable guidance throughout the project.
Overall, this project was an outstanding opportunity to apply my large marketing knowledge and technical skills in a wider international operations business environment and provide my own input and advice.
If no stars was possible, that's what they've earned themselves. My story parallels countless other stories on reddit. On July 23, 2025, I paid Acadium $1500 for a service to source a qualified candidate with verifiable web design skills. The core commitment was to provide an intern capable of assisting with a time-sensitive project, specifically with tasks such as graphics, formatting, and storefront design.
The nature of this dispute is a complete failure to deliver on the promised service and a deceptive business practice regarding their refund policy.
Key Issues:
Failure to Provide a Viable Candidate: Over the past 20 days, not a single candidate provided by Acadium has proven viable. Candidates have repeatedly exhibited a fundamental lack of professionalism by either canceling meetings at the last minute or failing to show up for scheduled interviews. This has prevented me from hiring anyone and has completely stalled my project.
Deceptive Refund Policy: Acadium’s policy states that a refund is only possible if a client requests one before being introduced to a candidate. Since an introduction is the very first action taken after payment, this policy effectively eliminates the possibility of a refund, regardless of the quality of the candidates or the failure to deliver the service. This practice is unethical and predatory.
Lack of Resolution: Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue via email, including an escalation to an internal manager (Amanda), my concerns have been ignored. There has been no progress in nearly a month, and the company has refused to process a refund, citing their flawed policy.
I have not received any of the services I paid for. I am requesting the Better Business Bureau’s assistance in securing a full refund of $1500 from Acadium for their failure to deliver on their contractual obligations and their use of a deceptive business policy.
Not Worth the Investment – Poor Matches, Weak Support, Minimal Refund
I signed up for Acadium expecting relevant mentorship and professional support. What I got instead was a series of mismatched connections that had nothing to do with my goals or industry. Despite carefully outlining my needs, the platform continuously recommended irrelevant profiles.
After two weeks of trying to make it work, I requested help from customer support—only to be met with vague, unhelpful replies and no real resolution.
I invested $2,400 into this program and, after canceling early due to the lack of value, I was issued a refund for less than half of what I paid. For a platform that positions itself as a career accelerator, this felt like a complete waste of both time and money.
I wouldn’t recommend Acadium to anyone serious about growth or mentorship.
