Acadium is exploitative of both the interns and the SMBs who mentor them. Stay away from this scam, which is a "subscription" to unpaid interns who are just desperately trying to make a way in this world, wasting time for everyone. I tried 3 interns, and stopped after I realized how unfair it was to them. I haven't used the platform in over 9 months, but they still charged my card again for another full year. A subscription to unpaid labor? No thanks.
Acadium provided talent that was open to learning and very intelligent. Their systems are efficient. Great for startups!

I initially signed up with an apprentice, and it didn't work out. When I circled back to the Acadium staff, they were incredibly helpful in getting me re-matched with a new apprentice...and he was brilliant! In the 3 months I've worked with my apprentice, he has been fully collaborative, imaginative, helpful, communicative, and fun to work with. I couldn't be more pleased. The fact that Acadium was responsive to my needs, especially when I had concerns, made the right impression. They wanted me to have a successful pairing and partnership, and they 100% delivered on that promise. I have already happily renewed because of the great experience I have already had.

I used them to find an intern. Which they did. What I did not realise is they put all subscriptions on AUTORENEW and eventually charge you for an additional 3 months beyond the initial 3 months. They will not acknowledge or admit that AUTORENEWAL was not clear or warranted. They will not refund even if you clearly state that you are not using this service anymore. They argue that what matters is the Subscribtion and Autorenewal. DO NOT USE THEM.

We are pleased with the four Apprentices with whom we matched. Our Digital Marketing and Social Media program was greatly improved thanks to the help we received from our Acadium Apprentices.
I have been working with Acadium since April 2024. It has been difficult, to say the least, to find quality apprentices. It took me until I was well into the summer before I found one who could meet the interview requirements, and provide two seemingly legitimate references, and work samples. Now that I am working with an Apprentice this person does NOT communicate in a timely fashion and keeps piecemealing me the deliverables. I keep expressing that this is a critical time for my company and I have no time to play around but I am experiencing more stress and delays than if I went ahead and did it on my own, but I am also trying to build my business and make money. I have asked for a refund, even partial at this point, and they will NOT budge despite how painfully difficult it has been to work with their online platform, apprentices who they do not vet well, and the poor quality of work that is being done on the part of the one apprentice that I finally got to meet the minimum requirements. They keep sending me weekly check-ins about how the apprenticeship is going the only good one so far was the first week, yeah basically orientation. DO NOT invest in this company, they will have you running around chasing your tail. It is not worth it.
