I have been a customer of Adagio for 12 years, and the latest customer service interaction with them has made this year my last. I had ordered an Advent Calendar (as a gift) shipped, and Adagio now uses UniUni as their shipping company. As I was walking home, I got to witness the UniUni delivery person stomp on package five or so times, perhaps in an attempt to flatten it to get it through the gate into my apartment. Given the state of the box, I refused delivery, and immediately notified Adagio, including a photo of the damaged box I took. Adagio's customer service did not read my original email, and responded "Thank you for your honest feedback. Glad to hear you received your package, sorry to hear that the delivery was less than ideal." They did agree to flag this to their carrier representative. When I informed them that I refused the package, they told me that despite the photo, despite the description of the damage, and the nature of the order (an Advent Calendar, which are meant to look nice and decorative) they would not take action until I accept the package and photograph the damage in more detail. Ultimately I get that one negative customer experience doesn't matter, but hopefully this is useful as a warning for anyone else who is ordering delivery and wondering how Adagio would react if their delivery doesn't go smoothly.

I used to buy from their website occasionally. Today, I wanted to place an order but noticed they still had my old address. I tried to update it, but the form has a character limit, preventing me from entering the correct address (they should have hired a very cheap developer for such a mistake that!). I can't even workaround it with abbreviations. When I contacted support, I was greeted by an unhelpful AI that couldn't assist. I asked to speak with a human, but my request was denied. I searched for contact options and only found useless FAQS or AI-generated responses. I'll delete my account because I refuse to support a company that shows so little regard for its customers. However, there's no option to delete the account. The FAQ gives a lame excuse about needing to keep track of orders, but that's not how the law works. I can remove all editable details, but my account still exists (whatever that means). I can't delete it, and as a result, the company has lost a customer who had been with them since at least 2012.

Ordering was easy, they sent me some free samples, and the teas I ordered were fabulous. So were the samples. I highly recommend Adagio - excellent products. Also, I need decaf tea, and every one of the ones I got was delicious.
I think the teas are just a hit and miss on the flavors. The Honeybush Banana Nut was quite flavorful, the Peach Serenity was weak, watery, and no tea. Im glad I only bought some samples to try. I wasn't really impressed enough to pursue further.
Didn't receive order after speaking with customer service immediately when I realized that order was being shipped to wrong address. Customer service could not stop order and it was in pending status. I was told I would have to wait for order to be returned to them before they could resend my order. The order was not returned and I was out of $28.00! Very Bad Customer Service! The response was a lie! The order was pending , I contacted customer service immediately! They should have CANCELLED THE ORDER! VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT A CUSTOMER OF 12 YEARS!

Once it's processed, we're unable to update the address because the shipping label has already been printed and your order has been assembled. We did our best to alert you of the address selected for delivery by emailing you the order details and displaying them in your account page. Unfortunately, you had only emailed us the request to change the address after the order was already shipped. As we mentioned in our emails, should the package be returned to us we will gladly give you the opportunity to re-address it or receive a refund. I purchase samples from them when they popped up on facebook literally over a year ago and I waited two weeks, never got them, emailed them, they asked me to wait another week even though I could clearly see from the tracking number that they left New Jersey and never went any further. I waited two weeks, because I got busy, still never got them, messaged them back on both email and via their website, never got a response, decided it wasn't worth it but they kept sending me their stupid promotional emails even after I tried unsubscribing. I started reading their reviews and realized that many others had this same issue and that they are known for their poor excuses and customer services, so I rekindled the complaint, was told I'd be refunded, never got it, so I filed a complaint with the BBB which caused them to respond giving me some sorry excuse about how my initial message got lost because it goes to generic customer service (uh, where else would it go?), and then tried to blame the post office for the problem. They said once again they'd refund me. Never got it. Absolutely sickening. I have NEVER had such a bad experience with a company, not even Amazon.

The have a huge assortment of great tea blends with high quality ingredients, and each tea blend page has a decent amount of in-site reviews to let you know if you truly are suited for the particular kind of tea! There are even options for flavor and ingredient preferences making it easier to find and discover new tea blends to experience for the first time!
First, the quality of the product. I always know I'm getting the 'best' herbal tea on the market. Second, delivery is always fast (this last delivery arrived on a Sunday). Third, I've never received an order with an error which is a big deal (at least in my experience) post-pandemic.
