This is exactly why I still get my frames through American Frames. I was struggling to get my mat window size so it doesn't cover things like the signature or number on the art. I picked up the phone and called them, they walked me through how to enter the art so window size is the exact size I needed. Their customer service is amazing, I waited on hold for about 30 seconds before speaking to an actual human being. It's why I love them!

Customer service is fantastic! I order frequently from American Frame. Most of the time I can completely do the order using the online tools in the excellent configurator provided on their website, but there is the occasional need to contact customer service for a special request. When I do, the orders have been handled exceptionally to my satisfaction. American Frame is the only framer I have used for years. I heartily recommend them to customers, colleagues and friends!

I’ve been using American Frame to buy frames since the late 1970’s. The inventory is good & well priced.its easy to order on the website. I’ve NEVER had a problem with damaged or incorrect orders!

Customer service was excellent when I called them. Before I spoke with the customer service person I was using the online custom design area and could not find the image of my painting uploaded into the frame so this is when I called customer service. Once I worked with the customer service person, I realized I had to put my uploaded painting with my choice of frame into the “cart” before I could actually see the image. It was not clear to me after uploading my image, and picking out my frame, I needed to put it in the cart before I could view it. The customer service person suggested me buying some frame samples. She also suggested a few frame samples that would go with my painting. All in all, it was a very good experience.

I am a repeat customer for years. Even though the product availability has changed over the years I am still able to find a similar product to complement what I already have. I am disappointed with the cost of shipping. When I first started purchasing from American Frame I lived about 6 hours away. I now live an hour and a half away so I can pick my frame up.

I find using the online tool for sizing the frame/mat complicated. I had artwork that measured aXb but if I wanted a mat with the same outside dim., the frame was then made larger. I had to go matless to get the size frame I wanted. Love American Frame though and have used them for decades. I normally just place my order via customer service.

I’ve been using American Frame for many years and am always happy with their products. The web site is SO great, as I can order frames/mats based on my exact measurements OR give up total control, enter artwork, overlay, and mat width and let them calculate. I’ve been happy with both. Also, woman-owned. <3

The prices are just too high now. It cost me over $70 with shipping for a simple metal frame, acrylic, and backing board (no mat) for a small poster. The prices are so high that I'm being forced to abandon American Frame for my needs and go to Amazon. I can't get the custom sizes I need, but the cost on Amazon are literally 10%-15% of the cost charged by American Frame. That's too bad, as I've spent thousands of dollars with American Frame over the past 15-20 years.
