Had the part I needed

I was looking for a replacement control module for my atwood water heater. They had an after market unit for half the price of the OEM part. I ordered it, had it in a few days and installed in ten minutes and it worked perfectly. This was a painless process from start to finish. I would definitely use them again.

Dinosaur control board for dometic RM663 fridge

Your board was sold at a lower price compared to several other on-line RV companies. It works perfectly. I do appliance repair for a living. This board design has been greatly simplified compared to the original Electrolux board. The board is smaller and uses one relay instead of three separate relays since you can only use one of the three operation modes at one time. (propane or 110 volts AC or 12 volts DC). So the designers of your board were very much into consolidating the electronics and also consolidating the programming to avoid unnecessary duplication and redundancy. In short, from an installer's point of view the only two issues I had with the board (very small issues) were 1-the break away tab and 2- the side refrigerator's slide-on plug connector. 1-I drilled out each of the break away tab perforation holes one drill bit size up to make it easier to break off the tab. I felt that a bit too much force would be needed to snap off the instruction tab piece and 2-the refrigerator's side slide on plug connector would not fit on the board so I had to carefully file down the short side edges (with a small hand file) of the board so that I could slide the plug connector into it's place. No big deal for me because I run into these things on a daily basis in my appliance repair business. You may need or want to add an installation tip in the instructions showing how to file those short edges down some so that the plug can slide into place. It is much easier to file some on the board in this way rather than to make an attempt at modifying the inside short sides of the plug connector.
