Bay Alarm not only responds to emergency calls, as one would expect. The company also keeps track of the connection of the emergency device in my home. I have been contacted several times about a low battery. I have talked with Bay Alarm to explain the situation. Customer service is always polite, helpful and willing to listen. I recommend them highly.

The SOS MICRO is very lightweight. I wear it as a bracelet. I ordered "fall detection". Although I have not fallen, the device assumed a hard-fall; when I dropped it on the floor. A woman's voice immediately called me; via the device-speaker; reciting my full-name; to ask if I need help.

Bay Medical always is very helpful and prompt in any dealings with them I actually needed assistance after a yard accident that ended in a very hard faceplant in the dirt (causing double fracture of eye socket). They answered quickly and got me the help that was needed. I believe any elderly person needs this service, especially if living alone.

I called and asked for step-by-step instructions on setting up and using my device. I took four pages of notes while customer service guided me. We also reset it and tested it.
