I was so disappointed with the coffee coloured vest The linen was too light weight to give substance to the vest. It needs lining to give it depth. It was a lesson in being misled by the photo. Had I felt the fabric I would not have bought. My previous purchase has been used time and again and I was very satisfied.

clothes people will notice

I love the clothes, although often most popular sizing is unavailable, which is very frustrating. I've seen the same top only available in one color with the other color unavailable for 3 or 4 years without being updated. I have 'points' but do not ever see anywhere to redeem them. The point system is not well explained, and again, this is very frustrating. Overall though, the clothes, with a few exceptions that have been a major disappointment in quality, have been very nice. I am a repeat customer. The date of my last purchase in shown below.

I have not made a purchase with this company although I was very tempted to. I was stopped in my tracks when I discovered Buykud does not have a customer service telephone number. You can only communicate with them via email or Facebook messenger. I've always been suspicious about businesses that don't have a personal way to communicate with their customer. Then, I read the reviews. Enough said!!!!

I wanted to return an item

I wanted to return an item. I followed their directions filling out an elaborate request. Never heard from them. Sent a 2nd email and said they never received it and sent me return directions. The directions for return were beyond complicated to the point of no return. I Again emailed them and said I planned to report them to my credit card holder for this. I have finally learned my lesson: Never buy from Chinese companies.

Dress shrank 4 sizes when washed

I found a brand new loose fitting Guykud dress in a charity shop. Still had tags. Size 2XL for Australian 22-24. I am a size 14. Took it home, washed it and it shrank to my size. The fabric is, I think, cotton or linen mix. I would not buy their garments if they shrink 4 sizes.

The quality of Buykud clothes is really good. They do tend to run out of stuff, but what you do receive is good value, unusual and am generally a very satisfied customer of this company.

This is a completely unethical company if you return a garment you will never get your money back do not buy from them and tell others

BUYER BEWARE-- HORRIBLE CUSTOMER…

BUYER BEWARE-- HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE (and reviews of their business confirm this) AND for each of the 4 items I bought, the specific item's measurements on the website size chart was NOT accurate. I bought 4 pieces, and in ALL 4 pieces, the bust measurements were smaller by about 2 inches. I emailed them, with photos of their website size chart AND the measurements of the pieces I got. NO response. I messaged them. NO response. I emailed again. Finally, their response: "it's not a big difference."... And even with this issue, they told me I had to cover the cost to send them back.

Poor returns policy & customer service

(UK, July 2022) They get two stars because of 4 items I ordered I have kept two am am very pleased with them. The poor showing relates to their customer services and returns policy. If you are thinking you may wish to return something, think twice before buying it. Their claim of an easy returns policy and their ingenuous webpage claiming they are shocked and dismayed by the reviews here are just plain lies. It has taken 5 emails to ascertain the returns procedure (the cynic in me wonders if they were trying to time out the 30 day returns policy) in order to return two items. I have had to pay £14 from my own pocket to send the items to their French warehouse as the UK one is closed because of Covid. Given the reviews here I hope I get my refund. Will post with an update on that.

4 months and no refund yet

I've been waiting for a refund since March 2022. Produced proof of posting but am told it's in German Customs and I have no idea how to get it out!

They refuse to take returns in the UK…

They refuse to take returns in the UK and tell me I need to post the returns at my own expense to Australia or the US or Europe (have you tried posting to the EU since Brexit?). They use Covid regulations as an excuse and when I asked them for help they told me I should have read all the small print.

Price of items went up by $60 when I…

Price of items went up by $60 when I used a voucher for $30 which I was given because their jeans were sent out and not the correct size. Can’t return because they have mo longer got a UK warehouse. Customer services is very poor. I won’t be using by this company again.

Not longer buying from them

The quality of their items are no worth the retail prices and the return policies are very much not customers friendly. I received an item which is quite of a big size, asked for a refund and now I have to pay for delivery to send the item back from UK to Germany which will cost me at least 1/3 of the item itself. No longer buying from them.

I didn't receive what's on the website pics

Pretty picture, nice color BUT actual clothes are different. Different color, texture, and even design. Website pictures are so good, I received totally fake ones. I returned to China, it returned back to me a couple months later. No refund. Totally illegimate business it seems. Wasted my money and time.

I think this company has potential (and some nice, unusual items) but not the right approach. I've ordered great things that I wear regularly and I've also been surprised at the poor, sort of 'unfinished' quality of some. I think if you remember a couple things you might be okay: 1. It's going to take a long time to get your stuff, so you have to be patient. 2. Only order things that you can look at very carefully online - look for hemmng and finish and make sure the product you want is well produced. 3. ONLY order if you are pretty sure you want it. Their returns policy is dreadful and very, very slow.

Don't think they're legit!

After taking forever to receive an order - I wanted to return an item. Its site said to email "service" to find out how. Well, good luck with that. I've emailed over and over but no one responds. I am left with an item I already paid for that I cannot use - a hat that seems sized for a child, not an adult although advertised and photoed on an adult. I question their legitimacy in the U.S.A. A member for some years. I've loved my purchases, unique in style and materials, my style of clothing, however, recently I've noticed a distinct decline in quality of product and service. I hope this can be remedied. If not, for the price, it won't be worth it unfortunately.
