⭐ 1 Star — Beware of the "No-Hassle Returns" Promise! **Misleading returns policy, disappointing quality and expensive returns to China!** I purchased a pair of Buddha Stones cotton harem trousers as a gift for my wife. Unfortunately, the whole experience has been extremely disappointing. Firstly, delivery took far longer than I expected, meaning the gift arrived too late. Worse still, the quality was extremely poor. The trousers were advertised as soft, breathable and comfortable, but the material was stiff, coarse and felt more like treated canvas than soft cotton. When I contacted customer service, they explained that the dye treatment creates a layer on the fabric's surface, contributing to its rough texture. However, my biggest complaint concerns their advertised **30-day "no-hassle returns" policy**. Their website displays a company address in Colorado, USA, and prices in US dollars. I reasonably believed I was purchasing from an American business. Imagine my surprise when, after requesting a return, I was informed that I would have to arrange and pay for international postage all the way to CHINA! I could find no clear warning before purchasing that returns would need to be sent to China, potentially costing a substantial proportion of the purchase price. Instead of arranging a straightforward return, customer service repeatedly tried to persuade me to keep the unwanted trousers, offering partial refunds of 5%, then 10%, then 15%, and finally 20%. **How is any of this a "no-hassle return"?** I have repeatedly explained that the trousers are unused and that I simply want to return them for a full refund. In my opinion, the company's advertising creates a misleading impression of how straightforward its returns process really is. Customers deserve to know where they may have to return products and what the potential costs will be BEFORE making a purchase. **My advice: Think very carefully before ordering. What appears to be a straightforward purchase could become an expensive and frustrating experience if something goes wrong.** I certainly won't be purchasing from Buddha Stones again.

Sooo disappointed
Sooo disappointed! They looked so good that I bought 2 pairs of pants! The material is rough like a hessian bag! I washed one pair in fabric softener and still no improvement! Am going to return the 2nd pair. The elastic top is nothing like the ad on their website! Cheap and nasty!

Completely criminal
The worst online shop ever. I have never even seen such badly made clothes and at that price it is actually criminal. Really really bad. They make the returns difficult and expensive, however I can't even consider keeping the stuff as I'm sure it'll fall apart soon and I'd rather not have the reminder of being badly ripped off in my home. Completely criminal. Yuck. In response to Buddhastone, order number ESBS5998. You have my email as I've been through your customer service where you've informed me it'll cost me at least €40-50 just to return. Awful awful. People, PLEASE don't order from here, much less hassle to just flush 50 quid down the toilet.

I have bought several items of clothing choosing size 12/14. They all arrived with different sized labels. I tried to return them on several times but there wasn't a return label or address. I eventually got an address after a month of trying in China. They advised me to put the value of the contents (which were £262 ) as 10 dollars to avoid shipping tax !!! Do not buy from this company.

Priced high for the shabby poor quality. Waste of money and time especially took two weeks for the delivery due to the shipment started inland China. At least the customer service responded normally, so it's not scamming.
