I have had an exemplary experience with Carbonite. More than once my information has been saved from potential loss and it was easily reclaimed. The Carbonite employees have been knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you Cargonite!
Awesome, we are glad to hear you had a great experience with our support team and software. We strive everyday to provide you with a great backup product and the best customer service experience.
I'm just a home user who wanted a trustworthy and reliable off-site back-up service. While I was working for a large, multi-national company that had to ensure strict security for it's clients, I found that they used Carbonite. I started using Carbonite (the most basic package) in 2011 and twice have had to restore files, etc. after computer crashes. No complaints. I feel safe when I notice that Carbonite is automatically backing up my files, and it happens quite often, like right now. I believe you get what you pay for.
We are so pleased to hear that we have been able to assist you with file restoration after computer crashes. Thank you for sharing your positive experience. We truly value your continued business and look forward to serving you in the future.
I am a speech-language pathologist and Professor Emeritus who writes textbooks (7 so far). I rely on Carbonite to be my off-site backup for all of my manuscripts. In about 2015, Microsoft Word did an update one night, and the next day there was NOTHING on my computer. Also, for some unknown reason, there was nothing on my external hard drive. I contacted Carbonite and they were able to retrieve everything on the book manuscript that I had worked on. Thank God for Carbonite!!
Thank you for sharing this incredible story! We’re so glad Carbonite was there to recover your manuscript when everything else failed—protecting work like yours is exactly why we do what we do.
I have been using Carbonite for many years. I have gone through several PC's built by my son and store bough. Carbonite has consistently brought all of my most important files, music and written to a new PC. Tonight's automatic back up is reassuring of Carbonite keeping my data safe and secure.
Thanks for the great review! We really appreciate your continued business and look forward to serving you in the future.
