They tried to rob me offered me 5000 dollars less than blue book value for my vehicle but they did tell me my offer in a couple of minutes that's something carvana and give me the vin couldn't do

Earl did a great job helping me through the process of getting a car transferred and then with the test drive and purchase after 13 years of not needing a new car. The website was easy to navigate as well- this is my 3 carmax purchase and will likely use again.

Overall not too bad

Overall, this was not an unpleasant visit. However, the initial online reservation was far from useful. There seemed to be no way to simply trade in and make plans to outright pay the remainder as the website insisted on adding my down payment (ALL), but couldn't accept the full amount, therefore requiring me to apply for credit (not happening). One other issue is that once the vehicle was serviced and made ready for us, as soon as we left, we got a Low Tire warning! What was serviced other than a quick wash? This was the CarMax location in Edmond, OK.

Very happy with the process through CarMax. My sales person, Madison, was very informative and very patient with me ( I am not a tech person) Answered all my questions. I had to get another car and she found me exactly what I was looking for. And it was great not having to play the "buying" game at CarMax.

I had never purchased a vehicle from Carmax before. I ordered a car to be transferred from California and paid for the transfer fee. When the car came to NM, it was not in the condition that I had expected. The CarMax manager in Santa Fe, New Mexico was so helpful and offered to have another vehicle shipped to me in my state. When that vehicle came It was in much better condition and I was very happy to purchase this vehicle. To me that was great customer service and created a return customer out of me.

As soon as we walked in to carmax in Norwood we were greeted with a friendly smile and a person ready and willing to help. The salesman we worked with was extremely helpful knowledgeable about the car answering every and any question we had there was one thing we asked and he didn’t know the answer but he did everything he could to find the person that would have the answer. The only issue I had with our salesman is that he was soft spoken so I had to have him repeat himself a few times because I couldn’t hear him but that’s honestly the only issue and it’s not even a big deal issue. I would most definitely consider going to carmax in the future to purchase another vehicle.

Excellent CarMax Experience

I found my vehicle online at the Augusta location and had it transferred to the Columbia location with no transfer fees. Joshua Singleton showed me the truck and explained all the features. The description of the truck online was exactly as stated and what I was looking for. Joshua provided additional information about Carmax’s 10 day return policy and 30 day warranty as well as extended warranty packages that were available. He was very professional and patient, and he provided excellent customer service throughout the purchasing process. I loved the fact that there was no haggling, the price was as stated online, and the purchasing process was very simple and quick. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from CarMax with Joshua!!!
