I am not happy about my purchases at…
I am not happy about my purchases at Carmax, there’s always something wrong with the cars. My current 2016 VW GTI vin ending in 0047. The headlights were melted, there’s a knocking sound when I make a hard right turn, there’s USB Port is loose, the front passenger window is experiencing a delay going up and down, theres also a delay (hesitation) when pushing the gas pedal and there’s a smell of Antifreeze. The sunroof molding has a fold in it and should be checked immediately. Do you really have staff checking these vehicles? No updates from upper mgmt when they will replace the headlights further leading me to believe that they don’t care about their customers.

> ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) This was one of the most frustrating car-buying experiences I've ever had. We spent nearly five hours at the dealership while the financing terms kept changing. We were initially told one thing, then the numbers changed multiple times, and we were left waiting while the dealership repeatedly went back and forth with the lender. Shannan had just come from dialysis and has serious medical issues, yet we spent hours waiting with very little communication. We provided every document requested, and then were told the issue was the format of the documents rather than the information itself. The process was disorganized and unnecessarily stressful. The most concerning part is what happened after we left with the vehicle. We signed the paperwork, returned every document requested, and have now had the car for almost three weeks. Yet no one has contacted us with our final payment information, first payment due date, or lender account number. We've tried reaching people, but getting answers has been extremely difficult. As a customer, I shouldn't have to chase down basic information about my own auto loan. Communication has been poor from beginning to end. I like the vehicle, but the financing and communication process has been disappointing. CarMax needs to do a much better job keeping customers informed and making sure they know exactly what their payment, lender account information, and next steps are after they take delivery of a vehicle.
