This review is for the location at Holcomb Bridge Rd and Nesbit Ferry in Alpharetta/East Roswell, Georgia: Chipotle presents itself as a 5-star experience, but this location deserves to be rated below even one star. This is our closest location, so the multiple poor experiences we have encountered are detailed below…. 1. This location is consistently out of fresh food. Even the most basic, like black beans or their rice is consistently out or scorched to the pan. 2. The location is consistently in poor condition- drink machine and counters are dirty. Not just messy - dirty. And not at closing or some off time either, this has always been during prime time hours. This has been encountered even when groups of their employees are congregated in the outside patio area, which brings me to the next point…. 3. The staff themselves are inconsiderate. There is limited parking in front and we have consistently seen employees in their cars and parking in the couple of front spots instead of in the back lot. When the handicapped spaces are full, it leaves this location very inaccessible to those with low mobility. 4. They refuse to accept Chipotle coupons that at least two other locations said were valid. Yesterday, we asked another location about the coupon earlier in the day and when we went to use it at this location (so the food would be warm when we got home), they again refused to accept it - even the manager… 5. This manager needs to be at the least retrained and ideally moved to another location as she has let this one devolve so completely. She is rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional. We have been barked at, argued with and treated so poorly that it has led us to leave this review. Given their 2.9 star average at this location, it is doubtful the local management will resolve these issues. Our hope is that Corporate can get involved as we used to be near-weekly customers and consumers of Chipotle. Otherwise, if you are looking for better service or conditions in this area, you would be better suited to go to Chick Fil A or even the McDonalds across the street.
I have used their online app to order Burritos Carnitos with double wrap, rice and cheese only. At every other store, these have been nice sized entrees and the same for the first two orders at the Paducah location. I order well in advance and order in multiples of 4-8 at a time. The last 30 Burritos have been half the size of all previous entrees. One half and not an exaggeration. I have always included a 20% tip and now I am angry and frustrated because complaining to people that make your food is a fool’s errand but enough is enough. Upon searching, I see that I have a very common complaint. Is it sudden cost increases, poor training, bad employees or poor management? I suspect some combination of all four.
I went through the line at chipotle thinking it was about $12 for a cardboard bowl with some slop in it but when I came to the cash register, they asked for $35 for two cardboard bowls. I will never go back to chipotle and watch them get a spoonful and then drop some of it out before they put it in the bowl. what a joke or a restaurant that’s supposed to be good.
This is the most disgusting place i have EVER been to! me and my friends were walking in and there was NO ONE in the resturant as we walk in which should have been a sign that something was wrong but we all flinched because about SIX people were behind the counter, still and just staring at us yet we still walked up and ghe moment we walked up they were talking quietly and laughing while staring at us rudly until one of them literally rolled their eyes and walked over and took our order but everything just got worse and WORSE!!! each of us had to deal with a worker snapping at us just for trying to order bowls and she had the gaul to give TINY PORTIONS for everything! we had to ask her “hey, can we have more?” and she acted annoyed. then when we finally got to the register each bowl was 18 DOLLARS! we were so mad and asked why and the person at the counter said “you got double portions” DOUBLE PORTIONS OF WHAT?! at anyplace else that isn’t chipotle, if i EVER got double portions it’s a mountain, not a full scoop! then you think it wouldn’t get worse but you’d wrong! we paid for ghe stipid bowls already deciding we were never coming back and sat down at a table as the ‘workers’ started talking and louder and i could have sworn they were talking about us because we were shocked for being charged for a little bit of more food but then yelling breaks out as we are eating and we are looking at the situation and one of the wors says “GET IT!” and we see one of them running out and we’re close and see a MOUSE running out of the kitchen!!!! and you think that they wouldn’t and just catch it and take it outside but NO WAY!!! the worker chasing it catches up to it and stomps on it! the other workers are laughing as we are so shocked and disgusted at the unhygienic and cruelty of this place. we immodestly stood up and left without cleaning our tables because of how shocked and disgusted we were. and to no surprise we got sick that night. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
Had not been to Chipotle in months due to often being out of things. Today visited and the rice was watery, portions wee skimpy and not flavorful. I am nit sure what happened with an eatery that I once ate once a week. Will not be returning.
Last time Chipotle ripped me off, door dash credited the whole meal so this time around I only ordered for myself because the rest of my family just got tired of adding food additions to their bowls and not only not getting the extras paid for, getting ripped off the initial meal. Again they ignored the extras paid for except the cheese and the steak was so cold the cheese didnt even melt. Doordash is sending the images and complaint, and letting them know I refused à refund so maybe they might do something realizing im not after free meals? If you want what you pay for, go in yourself as these issues happen a lot less when your watching over whoever is handling your food. Im dealing with stage 4 so dont have that option sadly. Plenty of other restaurants.
Literally the rudest people in the restaurant industry. They made my wife feel awful about trying to order and making a decision. Zero.zero stars. Enfield, CT location
Overall, the food was great for my first time. And, depending on what you order. They can be a great source of proteins. I highly recommend the bowl, though it being their most popular dish. It’s absolutely one of my favorites. I don’t see why they are rated so low, it was genuinely a good experience, quick and easy. The staff was quick and friendly. And traveling out of state up into NYC, despite NYCs headaches for quality food, I personally think they pulled through. Overall, highly recommend if you’re into Mexican cuisine.
I enjoy Chipotle’s food, but the rewards system in the mobile app is not user-friendly. During busy times, the line moves quickly, yet redeeming rewards takes far too long. You have to go into the rewards section, search for each reward individually, redeem it, then go back and repeat the process for the next one. When you’re ordering for a family and buying five or six items, this becomes frustrating and time-consuming. It would be much more convenient if customers could easily view and redeem multiple eligible rewards at once instead of navigating back and forth for every single item. I hope Chipotle improves the app to make the rewards experience faster and simpler, especially for families and larger orders.
Ty at the ridge chipotle was so nice and made our food perfectly he deserves a raise
This place is one of the worst Ive had. Even though the food is good the service is horrible, I am asking a bowl to go and the server just puts a spoon, literally leaving half of bowl empty when I ask him to please add it right he grabs half spoon of rise and says is all he can do, when my bowl is literally half empty. Then he puts small portions of everything else too and I just leave.
I used to love chipotle. 10 years ago I ate chipotle for 45 days non-stop. Those were the good old days. Now Im lucky to be able to place an order through the buggy app. Extremely horrible customer experience if an order is messed up. Flavor also has gotten worse and more like fast food. Chipotle started the slop bowl concept and now they are the reason people go to places like Naya or Qdoba.
Extremely Dirty Restaurant. Garbage overflow in the container as well as the floor. Dirty counters were customer food is prepared. Dirty seating areas throughout the restaurant. Unacceptable excuses given by the General Manager Muhammad Rios.
Portion sizes are egregious, can make 5x the servings at home for the same price, and better. Paying 2$ for an almost empty bag of stale chips should be illegal.
we ordered ahead of time on the app and once it said it was ready we got to the window and we sat there for ten minutes before they told us we needed to pull back around because it was not ready yet and i told the lady my order was supposed to be ready ten minutes ago and i had a dance competition to go to and she proceeded to still make me pull around and sit in line for another 30 minutes behind all the cars
App UI needs improvements. It makes it unnecessarily difficult to enter and use gift cards. Food portion sizes have too much variability. Staff is consistently friendly and quick.
Quick and delicious - I love the burrito bowls when I'm on the go!
I ordered a steak bowl from the Saginaw Tx restaurant and to trust blindly is an understatement. Don’t trust them. There wasn’t a drop of steak in the bowl. I bought 3 everybody food was subpar. Never again. If you can’t trust people with your food . Just say you’re struggling in your resources. Just let people know . Don’t cheat them. I got $10 worth of food that cost me 60 bucks just horrible
