Damac wanna close this complaint without actually paying the AED 200k commission owed to us. This is a deceptive tactic to hide the truth from investors, There’s No resolution has been reached, There’s No payment has been made and there’s no “amicable resolution” has taken place. We challenge DAMAC to proof. Agents & Investors beware: Simply, If they can lie about a resolution on a public platform, imagine how they handle private investments.
Mr. Stanley was a pleasure to work with and was eager to solve any small problem we had with the unit. The handover with him was very smooth but unfortunately the paperwork with admin was the absolute opposite and took forever. 5 Stars for Mr. Stanley only!

I am writing this review as a purchaser of two off-plan properties with DAMAC. My concern is not the payment obligations themselves. Investors understand that payments must be made according to the agreed schedule. My concern is the complete lack of meaningful customer engagement and communication when genuine issues arise. On a previous occasion, I contacted DAMAC in advance to advise that there would be a short delay in payment. Despite my efforts to communicate, there was no discussion, no attempt to engage, and a penalty was simply applied. The same situation has occurred again. Before travelling abroad, I contacted DAMAC by email and WhatsApp to explain that my payment, due at the end of May, would be delayed by only a few days until my return. I received automated responses assuring me that someone would contact me. One message even stated that I would receive a call the following morning at 10am. No call ever came. Instead, despite repeated attempts to communicate and despite the payment being made immediately upon my return, another penalty was applied. What I find most disappointing is that there appears to be no human engagement. Communication is largely automated, emails go unanswered, and customers are left dealing with systems rather than people. DAMAC is a company whose name has been associated with significant criticism during previous property market downturns. One would hope that the lessons from those difficult years would have resulted in stronger customer relations, better communication and a more responsive approach to investors. Sadly, my experience suggests otherwise. As an investor, I expect professionalism, responsiveness and reasonable customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. My advice to anyone considering an off-plan investment is to look beyond the sales process and carefully assess the quality of after-sales support and customer communication. In my experience, that is where the real test of a developer begins. I cannot comment on the experience of others, but based on my own experience, I would urge prospective investors to proceed with caution, ask difficult questions before signing, and ensure they understand exactly what level of support they can expect once their money has been paid. This review reflects my personal experience as a customer and investor.

Terrible customer service. They promised something and did not deliver. And now will not give refund. Here is the full story. I was visiting Dubai on vacation in December 2025. I met with Hansaj Gupta who i registered my interest with for a potential new build. He told me the payment rate would be 1% monthly. I agreed and paid my deposit. I asked him if I needed to do anything else while in Dubai or if I could solidify the deal when I came back to Canada. He said no need to do anything else. I came back to Canada and was told 1% monthly wouldn't happen anymore. Since then i have been trying to get my refund. I have been passed to Mariia who passed me to the happiness center. Unfortunately, with no customer nunber, no one will speak to me. As I do not have a customer number, only a registered interest number i am getting no help. Finally, after 4 months of back and forth, my refund was approved. I asked them to send it to me but it was paid in cash, so I need to be there to pick it up. I sent a representative to pick it up for me and I emailed both the happiness center and Mariia to authorize him, and they would not give him the money. They now say I need to give him legal power of attorney. DAMAC is a joke and the people running it are happy to take your money, not deliver and then make it impossible for a foreign investor to get money back. Please invest in companies like EMMAR, SOBA or others. Dont waste your money.

I am very disappointed with my experience with DAMAC Properties. As a US investor, I trusted the promises made by the sales team at the time of booking. I purchased a property in DAMAC Islands-2 during the last week of December. At the time of booking, the sales person Wazzim and my broker clearly informed me that I would receive complimentary flight tickets and a 5-day hotel stay once I completed the 25% payment. I completed the required payment by January 25th. However, due to the Middle East situation at that time, there were no flights available from the US. When I later requested to use the promised offer, the sales person directly refused and denied the offer completely. The biggest issue is that DAMAC never provided any written confirmation or email regarding the terms, validity, or expiry of this offer. Nothing was documented properly. I strongly advise buyers and investors: please do not trust verbal promises from sales representatives. Make sure every commitment, offer, discount, waiver, or benefit is clearly mentioned in writing before purchasing any property. What is even more frustrating is that the same property I purchased in DAMAC Islands-2 is now being offered with a 10% discount and complete DLD waiver for new buyers. Very disappointing experience and poor handling of customer commitments.
