I had a tribble experience with Dazzling Cleaning. The cleaners arrived late and seemed completely unprepared. They barely spent any time on the job, missing obvious spots and leaving dust and dirt behind. The bathrooms and kitchen were especially neglected. When I called customer service to complain, they were rude and unhelpful, refusing to offer a refund or a follow-up cleaning. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a thorough and professional cleaning service.
While we have had 3 good cleaners over the past year with Dazzling clean, we have had over 10 no shows. Several sketchy / bad cleaners. The final straw was today some guy showed up to our door, he was the husband of the cleaner we had been matched with. We declined to let him come in and after checking the cleaners reviews this is not the first time it has happened or that the cleaner has 2 star reviews. To me this is a failure of their platform which already lacks a good interface or customer support.
If I can give them 0 star I would I got scammed and changed $49 a month with no service
Fraud terrible company. They offered 2 hours complementary service n took my credit card info to have it on file if the service exceeded two hours. They put the cart on auto payment and I didn’t realise that until months. They are the worst Company
I wish there were an option to give zero stars!!! I inquired about a cancellation months ago. It's impossible to contact anyone at this company. I have only had one cleaning in the year that I have been with them. The first appointment was late. The next two appointments were cancelled by the cleaner. After that, I asked to cancel my membership, yet I am STILL being charged $49 per month!!!!! 10 months of billing. You can do the math. This company is terrible!!! Customer service is HORRIBLE.
Cleaners aren’t sent on the day they are supposed to, cleaners are contractors so dazzle clean doesn’t support the customer when a job isn’t done well. No customer support available. When they do a poor job Dazzle Clean wants to charge a cancellation fee. Cleaners aren’t required to carry insurance.
I stayed with them until the six months was up! They continued to book appointments for me that I had to cancel! They continued to charge me! What is wrong with this company?
SCAM! Joined Dazzling, got a great cleaner, then confused because billing was Homeaglow. After five months, I paid for an appointment, but my cleaner said he had actually been ill, so we set up another date and he cleaned. Two weeks later I got a text saying they were a cleaner I had never heard of had to cancel and they were sending another cleaner on a date I had not organized. I spent hours trying to reach them to cancel this appointment. There was no way. They sent the woman anyway, who could not get in because I was out of town as I had arranged with my cleaner. They charged me for it. No I have tried EVERY DAY to reach them and they are UNREACHABLE. My cleaner tried to fix it by they had disconnected him because they said I had canceled him, I had not. Still, no way to reach them. They get their claws into you, play terrible games to both you and their cleaners, charge for things you cancel, and have no way to communicate with them.
Total money grabbing racket! Steer clear of this very misleading company. I cancelled my service after fulfilling the commitment of the contract. They continue to insist on booking a cleaner. Do not give this company your credit card info as they have billed me for administrative fees that I was completely unaware of. Cleaners have been decent, but company is unethical in the way it handles billing. Very misleading website! Beware!!
Horrible. Was charged over 200 dollars for a cleaning session I did not schedule AFTER CANCELLING MY MEMBERSHIP & contract with them! SCAM ARTISTS! Beware, do not use this service!
Simply the worst experience. First cleaner no-showed no call no nothing until that evening at 9 o’clock I got a text “Cleaner Canceled” That night after I left a “COMPLAINT” DC (Dazzling Cleaning) changed my cleaner. The NEW cleaner comes almost 20 minutes late, and Brings a child with her was never authorized by me and definitely under the age of 15 the cleaner billed me for an extra hour, that never happened/existed. She left a foot of standing dirty water in my master spa tub. She left soap scum on my shower door never touching it. She was supposed to bring all of her own cleaning solvent and equipment. She showed up at the door with an old dirty mop, a bucket And a $30 Walmart sweeper/mini vacuum. The cleaner came in sat and began to talk us into not using DC Co. and using her and that’s where she has gotten her clientele of 22 customers from by stealing/poaching them from the DC company that she works for! That is just the tip of the preverbal “iceberg” I am a Government Employee that was trained with honor and duty, bottom line stay away from DC it’s disloyal employees the hidden fees and contracts. ZERO REFUND policies. FOOTNOTE‼️ After a couple of months, I was contacted by phone by an actual person out of the blue. I missed their call and was able to call back. They were located in Asia at a call center that had my complaint. If you will the gentleman tried everything he could to keep with the company keep me on a cleaning contract to keep me happy to want to make it up to me never was he concerned on the disloyalty of The employee, the fact that a minor was in my home working under the table and that I was in advertently involved in something I would never ever and no one should ever be a party to. In the end, I was given a $50 credit and told if I wanted my money back from the cleaner, I have to contact her myself which I tried to do that day that she left without saying goodbye or anything. She left my security door wide open and simply just left this was on my ring camera, I was literally in the next room, listening to her open my refrigerator and get soft drinks for her and her daughter and then she simply just left the house knowing that I was right there. Within minutes, I tried to call her back, but she never took my call. She never responded to my text messages and I was left with standing water, dirty bathrooms, vacuumed, carpets, cleaned floors, and I was able to wiggle out of the contract, but I am still without a doubt would never use this service Again !
Fair service to find a cleaner for yourself. But I do not recommend using them continuously. Poor customer service. Raised complaints about an earlier cleaner charging me for 3 hours when only 2 hours of work was done. I never received a response from this service. The cleaner said they could not change the amount charged. The price of a cleaning is not mentioned outright. It is hidden behind a link. The same cleaner is allowed to increase their rate over 400% within the span of a couple of months. There was no notification of this change. What cost me $80 in one month, cost me $370 another month with the same cleaner, for the same amount of work done. A cleaning was randomly skipped and I had to rebook it again. No reason was given as to why the appointment was skipped. Charging a monthly fee AS WELL AS 15% fee plus tax and other fee is an egregious amount to be charging for every cleaning.
I tried using this company twice. The first cleaner was extremely lazy & entitled. She brought her husband for her "safety" who sat outside in the car while she had access to come and go. What about my safety as a single female also? Neither of them was an employee,it seemed to be a Doordash type service where anyone can sign up and anyone can tag along except they have access to the interior of your home. I came to meet her in the garage, the first thing she did was complain that she was a "big girl" so couldnt fit between the cars in the garage & stopped as if she expected me to move one of the cars. I had to tell her to walk around the car even though it seemed obvious. When we got into the main living area of the house, she said, "Oh, I dont need 3 hours for this". I reminded her of what I requested when I scheduled. That was to clean the windows,baseboards and mop. She informed me I would have to help her move furniture because she has a bad back.The only baseboard blocked by furniture was behind the sofa which is not against the wall. There's a light weight sofa table behind and if she pushed each side of the sofa a little more, she would have access. She also asked if I wanted the stairs mopped too. What could I say...her "bad back", right? I wanted to tell her to leave, but did not want to be confrontational so I told her to do what she could.She didn't clean base boards or windows. I had scheduled for 2.5 hours. She took 45 minutes to mop, wash the few dishes in the sink and cleaned the stovetop. She let me know when she was done,and paused as if she was expecting a tip, compliment or both. She was paid for 2.5 hours for 45 minutes, that's a hell of a tip. And my home looked and felt the same except the floor was wetter than I would have it after mopping because I would also dry. The second cleaner was over an hour late. I had to cancel. I then cancelled my membership.They are now saying that I didn't cancel. I had received an email that the recurring payments were cancelled, but at the bottom of the email it said the account was still active. They still went on my account unauthorized for the monthly payments. According to "Emma", their AI customer support agent. The account is still active even though my cancellation cancelled my access to their platform. I cannot log into cancel again and they have no customer service number, just Emma. My advice is to use a real cleaning service local to your area and not this AI ran service that makes its money off of roping in subscribers and making it impossible to cancel.
I was very excited to start with this company. The first person did not bring adequate supplies, and then destroyed one of my towels as she used it to clean my floor. The next two cleaners were good - did a great job. I'd like to have them back but they never appeared in the search again. Then 3 different cleaners never showed up. I asked Dazzling Clean for a refund of my monthly fee which they refused. They sent me 3 more profiles of more reliable cleaners and told me they would pay for w hours of cleaning... and then none of those cleaners signed up for my shift. I'm very disappointed in them as I had great hopes that I would find a couple of cleaners to be regulars for my short term rental cleaning needs.
This company has absolutely no customer service. They ignore complaints or concerns. They pretend they will respond to you yet never do. They let the cleaners access your account, change appointments at whim and then even let the cleaners skip or pretend that you the customer canceled an appointment when you haven't and they charge you.
If you are thinking of scheduling a cleaning with them, DON’T! I had one of their employees stole from me and they don’t care! All they want for me is to pay their thief of an employee! The Company is insensitive and don’t show empathy! They’ll tell you their cleaners have been checked. No, don’t fall for that! You’ll be left to fight for yourself. And some of their cleaners don’t clean good.
These people are Nuts!!! Don't do it! Don't believe them! All they do is lie and send their national cops after you to take down your bad review of them! Cost me $200 and they wouldn't even give me back $49. They are cheaters and scammers!!! Why are they still in business?
TERRIBLE - cheats the cleaners pays them only $15 per hour! Did not allow me to remove my credit card after canceling and they continue charging the card for the monthly minimum FOUR MONTHS after cancellation. This after paying the six months minimum required contract. ZERO customer service!
This company is total scam. They are not up front about a 50 a month membership fee and all these other fees. The worst thing was they ripped me off for 174.00 for early cancellation fee even though I stuck with it for the whole 6 months paying them 400. Just to be a member. They say they give you a 50% discount. Well their regular prices are 60-70 $ an hour for a housecleaning person which no one charges that much. They charge you fees on top of fees. And you end up spending more than you ever would. I have begged them for my money back and they won’t budge. I am thinking of taking them to small claims court or getting a lawyer a to file a class action suit on them. A disgusting company all the way around. Even their cleaners hate them.
