The car was rented from Dublin Airport and it was in very poor condition. The tire pressures had not been checked despite a warning light. There was No road fund licence so a ticket was issued during our rental and on our return the company just threw it in the bin. They hold your CC insurance deposit for an inordinate amount of time after the vehicle has been returned, checked and approved. The booking agency (in my case VIP cars) weren’t interested in intervening to get the CC hold released. Defiantly not recommended
They stole my bag. I went to drop off the car at the Ft Lauderdale location when I realized that one of my bags was not on me I went back to retrieve it and guess what??? It wasn’t there anymore. I’ve tried calling the customer service to get connected to the Ft Lauderdale location and kept getting transferred to the call center in India. They kept giving me the same number.
Since Easirent is offsite of the Airport rental center the expectation is lower rate. The quote will be lower, but be careful of the add-on (such as proof of insurance) • Easirent is offsite of the airport rental center the pickup site is outside (Not good for Summer pickup). Their shuttle doesn’t appear run a predictable schedule. My visit there was only one shuttle but I was told they two shuttles but one was out of service. • Note, return the car with plenty of time to the airport terminal. Add for the shuttle time to the rental center, airport tram from rental center to the terminal, and TSA security check point. • Easirent shuttle was late returning to the rental center and the customer has a tight window for flight boarding time. The only help from Easirent staff was call an Uber if you can’t wait for our shuttle. • Easirent does allow travel out of state (read the fine print) • If you are local suggest reading the fine print because there mile limit per day. • These are issue I have not encountered with the standard car rental companies.
I would have to say it was probably one of my worst rental car experiences. I travel a lot and I was really surprised at how slick their website is and how inefficient their process is. It’s an offsite location which I understand you’re gonna go for value over super high-quality but the speed of checking out I landed and it took me an hour and a half to land, go the site to get my car and leave. They were over 10 people waiting to get checked in and get their cars one or two people checking people out who had check the person in and then get the key and then go out and get you the car. Not super efficient when I finally got my car it was and I mean filthy doesn’t look like it’s been washed in months. I can hardly see out the window or the rearview mirrors on the outside. I ended up taking it to a car wash myself just cause I couldn’t believe how dirty it was. When I got back to check my car back in, the shuttle driving left as I was checking in my car(I thought he might wait) and there is only one. Giving the 10-15 drive there and then back I got a ln uber and paid $20 for a ride back to the airport I’ll tell you it as not worth the discount. Never again I will say the people we trying…but there is nothing easi about renting from Easirent
Fred is an amazing guy he gets you in there sets you up and is good at explaining everything this was my first time renting and I’d go back everytime appreciate you Fred!
Can you give zero stars? This is the worst experience I've ever had renting a car. Rude staff. Gave me a car with almost flat tires. Never received the final invoice. Called for the invoice and ask for something in return for giving a car with flat tires. They hung up on me. Oh, and also never answered my email via "customer service"
Scammed me on SunPass. Totally corrupt process. There is no one to help you if you have an issue except offshore call center that tells you to 'go to the branch' - which is not viable when on a road trip.
Horrible service! Employees definitely do not want to be there. Employees are rude and extremely slow. 3 hours to get a car.
Had no idea that the rental place was away from the airport. It was at a sketchy hotel and the whole thing felt dirty. Car was fine, but not super clean. It’s fine for a deal, but I wouldn’t use Easirent again.
Took time to check in online to save time , uploading pictures and doc. Arrived at rental office and had to do it again ? What is the point ….. online prices different from desk price with same insurances? Desk agent kind of rude Van was a good size and clean
Great Service. David the guy who git us our car was incredible!
Hello Easirent Team, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the excellent customer service provided by Pablo. He was personable, professional, and made the check‑in process smooth. My concerns are in no way a reflection of him. My disappointment is with the condition of the rental vehicle I received. There is visible damage around the exterior, and both the inside and outside of the car appear poorly maintained. For a rental, especially one being used locally while my own vehicle is in service, this was unexpected. I was also surprised by the $500 deposit required for local residents. Given the condition of the vehicle assigned, the deposit felt disproportionate. Unfortunately, based on this experience with the vehicle itself, I would not be able to recommend Easirent to friends or family at this time. Again, my feedback is directed toward the vehicle quality, not the service provided by Pablo. Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback. Sincerely, Katie
I made a non-refundable booking for a car for 34 days with the intention of using my credit card's auto rental insurance. I didn't realize ahead of the booking that the insurance is only valid for bookings up to 31 days. My fault for the oversight. When I arrived, the agent told me they couldn't accept the insurance and would have to pay over 1300 for their insurance. I requested that we amend the booking to end three days early without asking for any refund, but they refused saying there is no one in the company that can amend a booking after is paid. Their terms and conditions state, "no addition to or alteration of the terms shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by a duly authorised officer of the Lessor" which inherently implies that they can make changes but refused to do so. Asking for a shortened rental period without asking for any sort of refund is a perfectly reasonable request, and any self-respecting company that cares about maintaining its customer base would be happy to do that.
My representative Julius was absolutely outstanding the ONLY reason I am just submitting this review is because my phone died. I had a reservation from another company that abruptly ran out of vehicles and no we are not related but I sure as heck felt like it. Kudos to my man Julius. He should definitely be appreciated by your organization👍🏽
Dishonest. Refused to show me the rental agreement. Said it would be email. Found they charged me for an out of state fee even though I’m staying in AZ. I declined their insurance and then saw a charge was added for it as well.
Young man picked us up at the airport, he was very pleasant, made conversation and couldn’t help enough when we arrived and returned the vehicle. This I couldn’t say about the Scotsman that booked us in. Never looked at us, demanded documentation and tried to sell the excess insurance and even tried to state that the excess booked via another party wouldn’t be covered by them, unless I didn’t know about insurance then I would have been in doubt and bought the insurance he was offering. Of course it wouldn’t be covered by Easirent but it was STILL cover and I had to emphasise that I was a retired Financial Advisor and knew what cover I had in place. NOT A PEOPLE’ S PERSON. Beautiful car, economic, comfortable and spacious. The down side was it was NOT as clean as I would expect. I had kids eat crisps on the Friday and decided to hoover the car out on the Saturday only to find sickness that had NOT been cleaned down the side of the front hand rest and in the footwell in the back of the drivers seat. It was obviously there for a while as there was no smell thankfully. Would I book with this company again, possibly due to the good points but possibly not taking into consideration the cost and the downsides as stated.
Booked car via StressFreeCarRentals to pick up Dublin Airport. When rang Easirent from airport, booking cancelled. Hadn't bothered to contact me & offered no other car. Left to sort another car via another website. Very poor service
$550 for a $103 rental. Added two insurance packages onto my car when they lied and told me that I could not leave the lot without their insurance. I agreed to one after finding a less expensive option than they were first stating that I had to sign up for and then they signed me up for both. Also lied and told me that I was getting $200 back from the amount that they claimed the total was. Instead, they added an additional $200 on top of the amount I agreed to and refunded that later on. They gave me the wrong vehicle. It kept losing air in the tired so I had to buy air and valve stem caps for it. Once I finally received a breakdown of my bill, I found that they added a second insurance. I called their customer service and was informed that they should not have added either insurance because I had provided my own. Customer service advised that I email someone instead and specifically told me "DO NOT RETURN TO THE RENTAL LOCATION BECAUSE OF THE EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD WITH THE TELLER." I emailed customer service to sort out the extra charges that needed to be removed. They waited almost EXACTLY over 24 hours to respond and tell me that they "cannot remove anything because I did not return to the location that I rented the car from." I explained that I followed what customer service instructed. At this point, I was 2 hours from where I rented the car on a work trip. I kept up on emailing them that the teller lied, added additional charges that I did not agree to, lied again, and added many extra fees such as a shuttle fee that was not disclosed. When I returned the vehicle, I was given the same story that I agreed to all of the charges that I did not agree to, and given a managers contact info who copied and the same BS. Do NOT rent from this company. Their google reviews are all AI / paid reviews. I attempted a credit card dispute and found that they stole my signature from signing for the deposit amount and pasted it several times on a PDF for all of the fees that I did NOT agree to. BEWARE.
