I enjoyed how easy it was to travel in the bus. The hotels were outside the main cities in quaint walkable villages. Our tour guide was really knowledgeable and sweet. Our bus driver was great. Had water bottles for us which was convenient. We had a really great time and look forward to another trip with EF.
My son had the best time ever. He loves everything he says.
What made my experience wonderful were all of the activities we did during our time at Spain. Like being able to see so many cathedrals, cities, and palaces. Miguel also made the bus rides to the new cities very fun by playing games and educating us. Everyone loved our bus driver, Julian, he was very nice and cool and everybody missed him.
I had a wonderful time.We were concerned obviously about her safety.But she was completely safe.The whole time she learnt so many different things, and now she is inspired to travel.The world as she grows up
Communication was excellent, the tour experiences were top-notch, accommodations were good and food was delicious. The travel arrangements were especially convenient and timely. Thank you for an amazing trip!
Our Europe tour was absolutely amazing! There was so much to see and Dragana did a fantastic job of telling us about the history, culture, and food of each area we visited. The only reason for less than perfect is that we didn’t get a break from the long flight before jumping into sightseeing (meaning we didn’t get to freshen up after the long flight). Regardless, I would still recommend!
Wonderful experience; restaurants chosen could have been better.
It was a wonderful experience. We had knowledgeable and helpful guides. Everything was planned out. Our accommodations were comfortable and the food was great. The locations were worthy for a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Mimo (Dominico) was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide and I dont think we would have experienced half of what we did without him and EF tours.
This was an absolutely fabulous Spanish experience for my 16 year old. The itinerary was ambitious and packed in so much learning, the cultural immersion was great- from farm to table cooking experiences to dancing lessons so much to learn. The trip guide was personable, dynamic and knowledgeable and my daughter has been raving about him. The hotels were air conditioned, clean, and included breakfast - typically single beds where possible. Very well organized. Love the website. Truly a fantastic learning experience.
We loved our tour guide Charles and the individual city guides, especially Alicia in Rome. Charles remained calm, cool, collected, and kind in every situation. The knowledge and professionalism were excellent. My only regret is that we couldn’t get tickets to go into La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and the Royal Palace in Madrid. I also would have liked to go into the Coliseum and I would have liked to visit the Pantheon.
EF Tours did a great job of setting up the tour, especially for such a large group (28 students and 12 adults). The best thing was the new tips included package which saved me a lot of headaches as the group leader. I was really dreading handing carrying so much cash and handing out all of those tips to so many guides and bus drivers, but our tour had those tips included from the beginning so it was handled by our tour guide instead. The tour guide for our trip, David Pinto, was the best part of the tour. He was always positive, energetic and so many great tips to help us out and make the trip that much better. Absolutely wonderful trip had by all!
As a parent, it was organized and easy to stay prepared with due dates and a payment plan. My daughter loved the trip! Her only recommendation was more time in Paris (especially the Eiffel Tower) and maybe a little less time at Versailles (even though she loved it too).
My son, the traveler, had an incredible time and had nothing but great things to say about his tour directors and bus drivers.
The staff was awesome
I would say our tour guide Alistair made the most positive impact of our tour. Our hotels were okay but the ones without air conditioning were a challenge. My least favorite part would be the flight over night then hitting the ground the next day. I would suggest day time travel and a good sleep in a hotel then hit the ground running the following day or fly overnight and have a rest day before hitting the tour. Overall we enjoyed it and would recommend EF tours.
Over all my daughter loved Japan! The only thing she didn’t like is that she didn’t get to see more of the more popular places and she would have loved to go to Disneyland. Also her group did not get a EF tours back pack which would have been nice .
Online Resources were very helpful. Tours were well organized. Tour guides and bus driver were fantastic. My kids had a wonderful time .
The good: My daughter loved the areas she traveled to. The locations were beautiful and full of history. The tour guide was extremely fun and knowledgeable. The bus driver was great as well. The folk night in Switzerland was amazing and the travelers enjoyed themselves. The bad: The dinner foods offered were only good in Switzerland and the second day of the tour in Italy. Otherwise, it was super bland and not a good representation of the countries they were visiting. Also, the hotel accomodations in France and Spain were chaotic. All the girls in my daughters group had to check out of their rooms due to the hotel being overbooked and walked 7 minutes to a new hotel. When they were in Spain, the hotel mixed up the groups and my daughter was paired with travelers from another group for a two nights stay-not a big deal just not ideal. The hotel outside of Barcelona was not properly maintained. On arrival the AC didn't work, the patio door didn't lock (they were on the first floor, street side) the room was filthy (spiderwebs, insects, broken items). The hotel was loud in general making it difficult for the travelers to get a good rest.
