Insane bait and switch
I purchased boots marked 50% off at the end of September. I tried on one of the boots on carpet, didn't like the fit, and shipped it back neatly repackaged with the original plastic bags and tissue paper, the very next day. It sat at their returns warehouse for over a week. I then received a cryptic email asking for my order reference for two sizes? I replied with the order reference for my single pair of boots. They claimed that they received two different sizes, couldn't approve the return, and told me to file a dispute through my bank? I did, and two weeks later, they asked about the dispute and that they would investigate and respond. Then, without further communication, they returned the pair of boots, without the original tissue paper or plastic wrap, and now they are two different sizes AND they are for the same foot (right foot). That they are for the same foot was never mentioned during our 10+ email chain? It is still unresolved 2 months later. I don't know why in their mind I would have swapped a pair and kept two differently sized left-only boots instead of them making a mistake at distribution and processing. They sent a wrongful pair and resorted to gaslighting me. I suppose it was 50% off because you get half of a pair!

They applied it immediately. Then I realized there was another item that I wanted. I called to ask them to add it to my existing order which they couldn't do. I was advised to place the order & call back so they could again apply the 15% discount & upgraded the shipping to next day since I'd just paid for it on my first order. Outstanding service.

Despite the good reviews on this site, I encountered strange requests that seemed like a scam. After confirming my order, FRWD asked me for a photo of both sides of my credit card and passport. This was supposedly for verification purposes. This is unacceptable and illegal. I therefore cancelled my order. No website asks for a photo of both sides of your credit card.
