this site is awsome in format doesnt have one category that fits my needs . thew sales people will bend over backward to make you think this will work for your company but once they get you signed up they will never call back They will con you on the agreement for your second term . they will charge your account no matter what you do to get help. then they will hold you hostage with your reviews and turn them off if you wont pay them . They will hold your business hostage very similar to the old home advisor if you value your companies reputation do not even get envolved They will sick attorneys on you to strong arm you its all about the money they had my reviewS off for 2 months because no one would call me to help me They make up every excuse then will force you to pay them They should be ashamed of the support i have nothing but 5 star ratings across the board for all the good it does this is sickening

A Single Star for an Unprecedented Low in Corporate Ethics

Having designed and executed luxury architectural projects across Europe and the United States for nearly 40 years, I have collaborated with thousands of professionals with absolute success. Yet, in my entire career, I have never witnessed a company operate with such low standards as Houzz. From unprofessional representatives (such as C.F.) who actively step out of corporate boundaries, to sudden, targeted technical IP blocks when attempting to close an account—Houzz has managed to deliver the single worst business experience of my life. For achieving this unprecedented low, I award Houzz the single, solitary star of my entire 40-year career. Congratulations on this remarkable failure.

I cannot recommend this builder.

I cannot recommend this builder. I purchased a new home from Satterwhite Construction in October 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Shortly after my one-year warranty expired, I began noticing cracks above the doorways and doors that would no longer latch properly. What I didn't realize at the time was that my floors were actually dropping. When I contacted the builder, I was simply told that they "dig all foundations to hard pack," and that was the end of the conversation. Concerned, I had five different foundation companies inspect my home. Every one of them reached the same conclusion: the floor joists were overspanned. I then hired an independent engineering firm, which confirmed the same issues. They also found that there were not enough support piers and that the lumber used differed from the plans that had been submitted. I shared the engineering report and repair estimates with the builder. Their response was, "It's your money if you want to throw it away." At that point, I contacted the county. An inspector came out, found multiple code violations, and sent me a certified letter documenting them. While I was not required to make the repairs, those violations are now permanently on record with the county. I also filed a complaint with the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors and provided all of my documentation. Although they acknowledged there were issues, they were careful with their wording. The builder eventually returned and corrected the county-cited violations but never addressed the underlying issue of the dropping floors. Over time, the problem continued to worsen. I had several additional foundation companies inspect the home, and they all confirmed the same structural concerns. Ultimately, I hired Ram Jack to correct the foundation issues at a cost of approximately $15,000—repairs that could have been addressed by the builder much earlier. As a retired Marine and someone who owned several businesses over the course of 30 years, I've always believed that doing what's right should come before maximizing profit. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I also know of several other homeowners in this builder's subdivisions who have experienced similar issues and have had to spend thousands of dollars out of pocket to bring their homes up to acceptable standards. If you're considering buying a home in one of Satterwhite Construction's subdivisions, I encourage you to do your homework, ask detailed questions, and obtain independent inspections.

Significant lies about how leads would work during the sales process. After signing on w/ them, support team disappeared and doesn't respond for weeks at a time. Leads have completely dried up as I believe they're going to long-term clients vs. new start up accounts.

Stay Away- Not a Lead Generator- Poor service

I was unfortunate enough to be scammed by them, losing nearly $10,000 and getting locked into a ridiculous contract. They force you to use their software. We simply wanted to expand our marketing into bigger projects and thought Houzz would be the right platform to do that. The sales team is extremely pushy and generates poor-quality leads that receive no response. They blame you for not contacting leads within five minutes, and when you do reach out, the clients still don’t respond. Please avoid them. I don’t usually write reviews, but I can’t express how disappointed we are in the way they run their business. Once you sign the contract, you’re on your own. Good luck! The dedicated support team just tries to sell you more services to get leads, and, foolishly, we fell for it. Maybe the platform works well in the U.S., but it’s not effective in Canada. We found out they have an action lawsuit against them, and I wish I had done more research on them.

Houzz are not good to partner with

We are a partner with Houzz and they claimed to get us customer leads which has not occurred. Complete False representation. I reached out to their legal team and they will not respond but they are still zapping my account monthly.

I have never done business with this…

I have never done business with this company or even heard of them for that matter until I received an alert from my debit card that they were attempting to take a $4312 and some change payment and have attempted that payment EVERY SINGLE DAY since. Thankfully I keep my card locked and have blocked them from ever receiving a payment from it. I'm leaving this review in hopes that it will help others from being scammed and furthermore put a stop to their fraudulent activities on others cards and accounts.

Canceled membership day before trial.....and they will not honor. Paying over 200.00 a month for software that I don't even use. Some of the stuff is not bad, but the majority of the software you can piece together for free.

Unauthorized charges

My experience with Houzz Pro has been extremely disappointing. When I signed up, I was told by my account representative that my one-year contract would not automatically renew. However, at the end of the contract term, Houzz charged my account more than $14,000 through an automatic renewal. As soon as I discovered the charge, I contacted Houzz to cancel the renewal and request a refund. Instead of addressing the issue, communication essentially stopped. I called multiple times, left messages, requested callbacks, and even involved supervisors, yet I received little to no meaningful response. To make matters worse, Houzz continued attempting to collect payments despite my repeated requests to cancel. I ultimately had to contact my bank to block further charges. What concerns me most is not the billing dispute itself, but the complete lack of customer service and accountability. If a customer is facing a $14,000+ charge they believe is incorrect, the least they deserve is a timely response and a clear explanation. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution any business considering a long-term commitment with Houzz Pro. Make sure you get every renewal term in writing and carefully monitor your account.

Placed order 4/28/26

Placed order 4/28/26. Haven’t heard from not heard from them. Tried putting in a ticket..no response. Emails sent…no response. Phone numbers given don’t work. Found a different email address and this is what I wrote… I am formally canceling order # HZ2549101 ] (Alpaca Rocker) effective immediately. It has been 8 days without a shipping confirmation or any communication. I have attempted to contact your support lines and live chat multiple times with no success. Under the FTC Mail-Order Rule, since the item has not shipped within a reasonable timeframe and you have failed to provide a delay notice, I am entitled to a full refund to my original payment method. Please confirm this refund has been processed within 24 hours. Phones are down and emails are ignored. I want a refund." NO RESPONSE NEVER USE THEIR SITE.

Lies and thieves!

This company has changed into a bunch of lying and thieving con artists. I used to order from Houzz for years and hadn't in a while until recently and what a 180 degree change from what was once a good company! I ordered a stand for my vintage hanging bubble chair. The delivery showed up with only one of the 2 pieces needed. Houzz reps told me that there was actually 2 shipments, even though their tracking they gave me only showed one, and that the other part of the shipment was going to be delivered the same day (April 30th). That never happened. I checked the FedEx site and the shipment showed it was still in Orlando and not even out for delivery. I called Houzz again and started sending emails to make sure I had copies of my conversations with them. I was then told that the order would be delivered the next day. Again it was not and again, I told them that the Fed ex tracking is showing something totally different than what they keep telling me. They claimed that they spoke to FedEx and assured me it was coming and it didn't. I was then told it would be delivered today, now 5 days later, and again, FedEx shows absolutely no movement of this package. Its apparent this shipment is lost. I made it clear to Houzz that this is a 2nd home and I would not be here past today to get this delivery and am not going to be responsible for a shipment that apparently no one even knows where it is. I told them to email me a return label so i can send back the part i have before i leave and I was threatened with only getting a partial refund even though the other part of the order was never delivered! I am gong to have to file a complaint for my money back with my credit card company as none of this is my fault and this company wants to hold me responsible for a lost shipment! This is the most disgusting excuse for a company I have dealt with in years. Even Amazon selling cheap Chinese products doesn't do this to their customers! And this is a company selling higher end products! Stay away from them at all costs unless you just want to be aggravated, lied to and stolen from!

I recently discovered that I had…

I recently discovered that I had forgotten to cancel a free trial subscription with Houzz Pro. When I log into my account, the platform continuously prompts me to purchase the premium service, but there’s nothing useful for me there since I’m not a contractor or interior designer. Houzz Pro is professional contractors and interior designers, which I did not know, nor did the site say that, and it should be evident from my account activity that I’ve never actually used the service. What’s especially frustrating is that I was never notified via Gmail by Houzz anything about my account. If I had received those notifications, I would have canceled the subscription immediately. When I contacted Houzz customer support after noticing the charges on my bank statement, the representative explained that Gmail sends Houzz emails to spam, and since spam folders are automatically cleared every 30 days, I likely never saw them. I asked if Houzz was aware of this issue, and she confirmed that they are. I then questioned why customers aren’t proactively informed about this known problem, as it can lead to people unknowingly continuing subscriptions they no longer want. I pointed out that this feels like a way the company could be taking advantage of customers who simply miss those emails. While I understand that the representative herself isn’t responsible for company policy, she was unable to provide an explanation for why Houzz hasn’t addressed this.

WARNING TO ALL CONTRACTORS AND BUSINESS…

WARNING TO ALL CONTRACTORS AND BUSINESS OWNERS: Stay as far away from Houzz Pro as possible. Their billing practices are absolutely predatory, deceptive, and designed to trap small businesses. I signed up for an initial 12-month contract with Houzz Pro and paid every single cent I owed. When my 12-month term ended in March, they used an obscured "auto-renewal" clause buried in their terms to try and lock my corporation into another full year for approximately $5,000. When I immediately contacted them, refused the charge, and explicitly canceled the service, Houzz’s response was unbelievable. They permanently locked me out of my account. But here is the worst part: despite actively blocking my access so my business couldn't even use the software, they STILL demanded I pay the full $5,000 for the year! They are literally demanding thousands of dollars for a service they are actively preventing me from accessing. In the business world, this is a complete failure of consideration, but Houzz doesn't care about ethics or logic. When I refused to bow to these ridiculous demands and pay for a service I was locked out of, they retaliated by sending a third-party collection agency after my corporation. They placed a derogatory mark on my Dun & Bradstreet commercial credit report to intentionally damage my company’s financial reputation. They use the threat of ruining your corporate credit to bully you into paying for a platform they won't even let you log into. Houzz Pro does not act like a legitimate software partner; they operate like a financial trap. They care more about enforcing hidden auto-renewals and unleashing ruthless collection agencies than actually providing a valuable service to industry professionals. Save your business, protect your credit score, and do not sign anything with this company.
