The entire process took less than 30 minutes (would have been shorter but I had to unfreeze my credit reports). The representative, Ronald, who reached out was very courteous, polite and professional. He waited patiently while I unfroze accounts; connected to my bank account; and read loan terms. Great experience AND I was APPROVED!

These people are out to get your info to your bank. I had been threatened by them. And they found a way to wipe me OUT clean. DO NOT GIVE YOUR PASSWORD OR USER NAME. There is a police report made and copies of their text. You shouldn't have to go to Walmart to send money or allow them to put monies in your account then turn and take it back out. THEY shouldn't keep you on the phone long. Its either yes or a no . Loan Company's does not call you all day long and then say you better call me back or else. I would NOT recommend them period. If You chose or choose them, please keep an eye on your bank account.
Be careful with this company I would not recommend them to no one application and everything you’re doing tells you what to do then once you do everything no one contact you back to let you know any updates or not I called and I was told you have to call and check with application. They will not email you nothing back but an application it says any other further information we will contact you or email you never received nothing. This is nothing but a scam do not work with them at all. I don’t recommend this to no one
Considering this agency was nauseatingly painful. After experiencing layered crisis after crisis, I came to this agency as a last ditch, an effort to receive some semblance of hope to regain financial footing. Unfortunately, I was truly failed by the representative and Lendingpoint as a whole. They misled me into releasing intimate banking information, deposited funds then forced me to refund it back to them immediately, and dragged their feet to release the funds. After 2.5 days of this back and forth merry-go-round, I was left with 3 accounts in the negative, -$2,000 across the board. I was truly failed, deceived and have lost all hope in funding pathways such as a loaning agency such as this one. I hate this for me and others alike.
If I could give less than one star I would. This company is a predatory lender. I paid off my loan of 16000 to Lending Point EARLY in 2023. They reversed my last payment stating that I myself had requested it be reversed which is a blatant lie and when I asked for proof they could not provide any. Now over 2 years later they are attempting to come after for me for over 1000.00. The last payment was in the amount of 278.00. When I called them out on this they then changed the amount owed to 448.00 and I offered to pay the last payment in the amount of 278.00 to which they will not respond. They cancelled my last payment fraudently, to come after me three years later for more than triple the amount of that last payment. When I try to make it right they go silent and will not respond, they are attempting to extort money from me by making me pay this as it is now negatively affecting my credit! I have complained to CFPB and NOTHING happened, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE EXTORTIONISTS!!!! If you dont want your credit NEGATIVELY affected, DONT DO BUSINESS WITH LENDING POINT!!! Customer Service was rude and beligerent and useless, Member Services wont even acknowledge my inquiries regarding the offer I made to make the final payment! That is not a reputable way to do business and in my opinion shows they are trying to get more money than what they are owed.

Don't ever consider this company. They make it sound good when it really isn't. If you men or women need money for debt consolidation or whatever the case may be, you are better off contacting your creditors or going through your bank and working something out with them. YOU WILL SAVE TONS OF MONEY DOING SO! Me for example. I needed money to consolidate credit cards because I was starting to be late on my payments. Going into a panic I didn't think it through. I ended up paying almost 3 times what I had to pay. They charge you very high interest! 27% to be exact! Companies like Lending Point will ONLY BENEFIT YOU IF YOU PAY OFF THE LOAN ALMOST IMMEDIATELY!! Don't make the same mistake I did.

He was very patient with me during the loan process and I highly suggest that you go with Lending point if in need of a loan. Was it easy to get a loan? Sure! But then the issues roll from there. They change their terms (multiple times) with nothing you can do about it. Now I have to decide between making my mortgage payment or my loan payment on time. All because they decided to stop taking credit card payments- which is one of the reasons I went with them. Be cautious of their terms.
I am a long-time customer with LendingPoint (Loan # LAI-00589089, started June 2022). My current balance is $4,358.04 at a very high interest rate of 25.49%. I want to pay off the full loan in one lump sum to save on interest. On 7 April 2026, I emailed customer support asking for the exact payoff amount and how much interest I would save by paying the entire balance right now. I received an automatic reply within 4 hours. I followed up the same day with more details, but it has now been more than 2 full days and I have received zero response from any human at LendingPoint. This is highly unprofessional and frustrating. When a customer is ready to pay off their entire loan early and give the company their money immediately, the least they expect is a timely payoff quote. Instead, my emails are being ignored while I continue to be charged high interest every day. I have already checked the customer portal, but I still need an official payoff statement. The lack of basic communication shows very poor service quality. LendingPoint needs to seriously improve their email support. Ignoring customers who want to close their account is unacceptable. Because of this experience, I would not recommend LendingPoint to anyone.
