Most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Consumers generally find the game incredibly creative and fun, appreciating the endless possibilities for building, surviving, and exploring on various devices. Many players truly enjoy the solid base gameplay, great replayability, and the wonderful opportunity to share adventures with friends online.
However, some customers also noted frustrating problems regarding account security, unexpected data loss, and forced Microsoft migrations that caused headaches. Others experienced severe server lag, buggy gameplay, and annoying restrictions that made playing together across different platforms very difficult. People also mentioned encountering unexpected barriers, extra purchase prompts, and complicated verification processes.

Microsoft took my money for a realm, the game acknowledged that they'd successfully taken payment, but then it refused to create the realm. It suggested I should contact Mojang, but the button doesn't work.
Even though I have Java edition, and have had since ~2009, I decided to pay £20 for the console edition + the £3.29 per month so that my wife and I could play together on our Switch 2 consoles in a shared realm. But clearly that was all just money down the toilet (which is precisely where you'll find Microsoft).

Dear,Minecraft
Dear Minecraft, if you are reading this GIVE ME BACK MICROSOFT ACCOUNT. PLEASE,I’VE LOST IT ALMOST 5 TIMES AND I WANT IT BACK AND IT WON’T EVEN LET ME SIGN INTO THE MICROSOFT ACCOUNT AND ALSO I CANNOT MAKE ANY WORLDS NOW. AND I DON’T EVEN KNOW THE PROBLEM. I PLAY ON A PLAYSTATION FOUR ON BEDROCK EDITION AND THE ADD-ONS THAT I WAS ABLE TO KEEP FROM THE MARKETPLACE PASS FREE WEEKEND WHERE THE ACTIONS AND STUFF ADD-ON AND THE VIBRANT VISUALS OR WHATEVER THE HELL YOU CALL IT. THE STUPID PINK CHERRY BLOSSOM STUFF AND I KNOW IT WAS A RENTAL, BUT AT LEAST LET ME PLAY THE GAME your game is more potential if you actually fix it AND GIVE ME BACK MY MICROSOFT ACCOUNT PLEASE, I just want to play with my friend because my other friend that has the username, cherry blossom and I forgot the numbers of her name, but she’s very rude to me in the game and has made several death threats to me in real life why I have been texting her and is very rude and and I reported her multiple times. I just do not like her and my other friend which is the only person that’s actually nice to me is is someone with the username, “ DROID, X RAGE” please on a computer. And can you please make good add-ons that don’t cost money because I am 11 years old and I cannot buy any good add-ons that don’t cost money and the best ones that I’ve bought were the another furniture add-on, and the dragon fire light add-on. If you read this, please do not take it as a threat because I’m just mad and all I want to do is just play your game. And also, can you please add in geese to the game because I have an idea for it. Geese can be used as a security system in the game where you can put them around your house and they will honk very loud if a hostile mob or a player goes near the area that they’re in and they honk and a 25 block radius and they also like normal chicken eggs, and you can also make omelettes out of their eggs and also chicken eggs. Oh yeah and can you also add ducks in the game please? I just really like ducks and yeast and chickens because I own four gear and eight ducks and I love them very much and I’ve lost one of my geese sadly and I just want to be able to remember my goose in my favorite game. Thank you for making this game! Sincerely: Alexa🪿
this game is amazing i love it i have 2000+ hrs playing it

only bad part is creepers blowing up your house

Microsoft ruins the fun
For a long time like 12 years I have liked this game and gave it 5 stars on Microsoft's store reviews and song of there accolades to anyone I could and now; I go to update my skin and I accidently clicked on head that I thought I was just checking out but the game just used my leftover coins from another purchased and with no confirmation or anything just money gone. I still was like whatever I was not using the coins anyway, money was already in Microsoft's hands not like it charged me more to my bank or anything. Then to add insult to injury I got a community guidelines violation for my skin that I just got robbed to buy now I can't use it. So then I go change my Minecraft review on Microsoft's store saying what I posted here and bam they slap me with an off topic comment and remove my review. Wow the capitalist really got the system on lockdown.

This game is great but it needs an improvement
This game is great. But the fact that yall add creepy and creepier cave sounds to the game is just, nonsense. It even scares me, they pop up randomly. Even when im not even in a cave (where technically where they're ACTUALLY supposed to happen because they're called CAVE sounds.)
I've seen entities alone. Even with my best friend just doing a peaceful world and all of a sudden, see a beautiful ENTITY that haunts the world.

Bedrock is 1 star Java is 4
Bedrock is 1 star
Java is like 4 stars
Bedrock is the cash cow for micro$lop. Marketplace is full of scams, they keep an eye shut to any shady scammy servers slurping kid's moneys out of you.
Java is good. But they enshittified it a lot lately with many warning popups and safety notices, online kids safety bull and other such bloat. Java was good because it was independent from xbox and bedrock and most micro$lop jazz.
Now you require a m$ account to login and xbox is integrated in java too. It's a shame.
Mojang and the devs are really great and incredible people, unfortunately the big design and management from above is steering it into the dead sea.
The game is very good you should ignore the other bad comments because they got their accounts hacked by giving a one time password that grants the full access to the scammers so it's their mistake for not reading the email not mojang and Microsoft's

Minecraft is one of the most creative…
Minecraft is one of the most creative and enjoyable games ever made. The possibilities are almost endless, whether you enjoy building, exploring, surviving, or playing with friends online. I love how the game continues to evolve with regular updates and an active community creating incredible content. The simple graphics give it a unique charm, and the gameplay is both relaxing and addictive. A true timeless classic for players of all ages!

Don't get Realms it's a scam and they won't fix
So I pay for a Realm subscription and have been contacting support because I currently can't even use it because in game it shows expired and doesn't show my realm names either. I contacted support multiple times to fix the issue gave them Screenshots and proof just like they asked and they refuse to actually fix it and/or even actually apparently read because I have gotten the same response from them and they refuse to fix or refund or anything. I'M close to getting a lawyer to take them to court because at this point they stole money and didn't follow through on their side of the contract.
This game is awesome I like building monsters and game characters In it . Every thing in it is awesome
and also the Minecraft movie was awesome so I’m gonna end my review with…
First we mine then we craft let’s mincecraft-jack black

Nice game, but unable to play my old worlds, so game sucks
I like the game. Played it a lot in Creative Mode on my PS4.
Unfortunately, it seems impossible to copy or move these worlds to my PS5. If it is possible, I cannot state other than this is truly bad game and application design. I already spent like hours to Google around, just to find others struggling as well.
It appears I either need to buy a USB, which has more memory than 250GB, otherwise, my PS4 does not accept it as a valid and supported storage device to copy the game data from there.
Or I need to buy PS Plus memory space to be able to upload my game data from my PS4, and download it via my PS5.
So nevertheless, I bought a game for € 50,-, just to stumble upon the issue I am only able to use its game data on my old console, otherwise I lose all my effort in my older worlds.

BEST GAME EVER!!!
It is so fun! You can play by yourself or with friends, and there is survival mode, where you have to survive (hence the name) and creative mode where you can fly and have unlimited stuff! You can also check out what other people build and try it out on the Minecraft Marketplace!

My life has been saved by this game , this is simply without a doubt the best game ever , the way it makes your brain think and build structures and explore buildings , it grants creativity with nothing to offer.
