Worst hosting company ever
Worst hosting company ever. My website keeps crashing and the support said that your website is using maximum resources and there is issue with your website. I had to talk hours with support explaining that nothing wrong with our website. We now transferred everything to Hostinger and everthing is working so perfect. Never never go for Namecheap.

The user experience particularly for things like renewing SSL certs is particularly annoying and unnecessarily difficult. It is designed to drive users (out of frustration) to add on ancillary services from Namecheap just to reduce the friction trying to get things done. At some point, the amount of aggravation will exceed the benefit of the price of your services and I'll be chucking the deuces just like I did to NetSol and register.com.

Someone made a lot of effort to hack my…
Someone made a lot of effort to hack my site and they corrupted the key files of WordPress inside FTP system. I was not able to complete the fix by myself since the attack was so complex it required superior system access to the folders and deleting corrupted files manually for which I contacted the support of the Namecheap. They did not care. They just offered me to pay 150 dollars for a fix. Right. For that ammount of money I am going to switch to another hosting site where I will get much better treatment. If you don't want cheap and lousy hosting service, I suggest to avoid. They are cheap for a reason.

A good value for the money!
Although some of the custom DNS settings are a bit different than what other domain registrars provide, I have been very pleased with the pricing, reliability, and responsiveness of Namecheap. I recommend it as a good value for the price in domain registration and other services.

Five Stars for a Five-Star Company
After a few less-than-stellar reviews from companies that totally deserved it, I realised I hadn't put anything positive out to the universe. So, here I am, giving five stars to a truly five-star company. Although I only have one active domain with Namecheap presently, I've used them frequently over the last five years, maybe even longer. Their customer service is like a snapshot of what customer service used to be like before bots took over the role. Excellent company that understands that people want to speak to people. And they're very cool and knowledgeable people.

Their redirects do not work and they are no help
Their redirects do not work. Customer service is no help. I explained to them that multiple people tried the web domain and it didn't load - across MULTIPLE browsers and devices. They just kept saying it was a browser issue. When a redirect doesn't work across MULTIPLE browsers and devices and people, it isn't a single browser issue - it's a NAMECHEAP issue. I am taking all my domains and leaving for a more reputable company.

Hello Jade, We can completely understand your concern about the issue you've faced. Please note that SSL cannot be installed in our URL Redirect servers. Due to the fact, HTTPS will not work for the redirect domain unless it has a hosting and have SSL installed separately. Therefore, redirecting with a secure connection (HTTPS) is only possible to a different destination domain (e.g. http://www.domain.tld to https://www.anotherdomain.tld). We have also passed your feedback to the concerning team. So, the option might be implemented in the future. Still, we do not have any ETA on the implementation.
