Via NameSilo Support I was able to get an instant escalation of my name server assignment issue for a domain I had caught 5 days ago (well beyond the usual 72 hours). I had tried to reach Catch.club support to no avail.
I've been a long time customer here at Name Silo. I always get 5 star customer service. Today Sunny went WAY beyond expectations. If there was a 10 star option, Sunny would have earned that today.
I am writing this to share my deeply frustrating experience with NameSilo’s support team regarding a domain issue. Live Support Agent: When my domain suddenly vanished from my account, I reached out via live chat. The agent was unhelpful and downright rude. When I politely asked if they could help open a support ticket to forward the case to the Abuse team, the agent simply gave a rigid and cold response: "No, Please get in touch with our ABUSE Team via email." repeated with copy-pasted text, refusing any basic assistance or ticket creation. Email / Abuse Support: After I ran a full system security audit (using ClamAV with zero threats detected) and provided detailed logs as requested, support replied stating that my domain was "successfully re-activated." However, the domain remained completely inaccessible due to a Registry-level serverHold. Only when I did my own WHOIS lookup, identified the serverHold status, and asked them again, did they casually send me a link to contact the registry directly. They completely hid the true status, misinformed me that it was resolved, and forced me to figure out the actual appeal process by myself through constant chasing. NameSilo's support is passive, cold, and transparently uncommunicative. They withhold crucial information, mislead customers about resolution status, and offer zero guidance until forced to. Extremely poor service quality—look elsewhere if you value reliable communication.
