Maurice and Christina could not have done a better job in helping us get our new home. We ran them ragged and they were always professional and kind. They made themselves available to us 24/7. We would never trust anyone else. Thank you Planet Home.
All the positive reviews are fake. They are nothing but incompatant and non responsive to your queries. RUN as fast as you can from this company if at all possible. Refinance asap with another company
Due to an Escrow shortage, I paid the shortage in its entirety (06.08.2026). The shortage amount due monthly was taken from my account 07.01.2026. I called to inquire. I was told that since I paid by check, I would have to call to ensure the escrow was paid, and the monthly charge not added to my monthly bill. There is not anywhere in writing that I had to "verify" the monthly amount would not be charged. The representative acknowledged that this was not in writing, so a customer would not know to do this. I called the required two to three business days, as recommended by the second representative; the first representative hung up on me. As of 08.03.2026, the monthly escrow shortage is still added to my mortgage amount, despite paying the shortage in full. I called the customer service line, waited an exorbitant amount of time to have a representative take my call. After explaining the situation, again, the representative was apologizing for the inconvenience, but still hung up on me. I am not fooled by representative thinking that hanging up while they are speaking will be perceived as a dropped call. Planet Home Lending is absolutely horrid. I would not recommend doing business with this organization.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Customer service is awful and does absolutely nothing for the customer. Lets put you on hold. Nothing gets resolved. Just a predatory company.

They have handled my loan fairly well. I called to try and pay off my mortgage. Nope, can't get a figure. They want to send a fax. Who in the eff uses a fax machine anymore, its 2026. Only other option is to pen a letter in which they told me will "go on a pile and will be put in que". Guys, its 2026. You are just trying to extend my loan to make more money you thieves.

My mortgage was sold to this company and the customer service rep calls me during a random morning telling me incredibly important information such as my loan number, my payment amount, methods to pay and to get me setup online to access my account, etc all while I'm at work completely unprepared and no idea how I'm supposed to stop everything I'm doing to get this information. I asked the rep if this information will be sent via mail or email correspondence because this is all sensitive information that should not be occuring on a random Tuesday morning with no warning of the call and the rep said no. Who TF handles business like this?

I think planet Home lending is probably one of the worst lenders I’ve ever worked with. From getting our mortgage sold to them and the experience that I’ve had to try to do a principal reduction payment recast their process seems absolutely ridiculous, you’re constantly dealing with somebody out of country and this has been hands-down the worst service I’ve ever received. Instead of doing a principal reduction payment recast we’ve decided we’re just going to refinance our brand new loan just to get away from them.

We started the buying process last year. We had a realtor that helped us right to Planet Home Lending for our Mortgage. Being the first time buyers planet Home Lending helped us finish out. We then contacted them for a refi. They helped get us lower interest rate and lower payments. We discussed later doing a check later to do a pay out loan for some repairs that need to be done. Our experience with Planet Home Lending during an insurance claim has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Despite submitting all required documentation and insurance checks, there have been significant and ongoing delays in releasing funds needed to begin repairs. We have reached out multiple times and have been unable to get clear answers, timelines, or meaningful assistance from any representative. Customer service has been consistently lacking, especially given the urgency of the situation. Planet Home Lending has also communicated directly with our insurance provider, confirming the claim is valid and ready to move forward, yet they continue to delay disbursement and have indicated funds may be held even longer. We have made it clear that funds can be sent directly to the contractor, but even with that flexibility, no progress has been made. These delays are preventing necessary repairs and creating avoidable hardship. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience with poor communication and lack of urgency.

I needed a payment history for my mortgage but when I went online to create a summary page, the document did not reflect the company name/information. I then called planet lending ( now Planet) to request the summary history and the representative stated they do not have nor can they create a payment history document with the company’s name on it. I requested to speak with a supervisor who then informed me that I should request a verification of mortgage instead and do so via email. I submitted the request via email with the general information ( loan#, address, my contact) and then I get an automated response that stated that the request must be in writing!! I then called the customer service number again and had the representative fully provide the necessary information needed based on their criteria so I can submit the request appropriately and completely. Now I wait to see how long it will take them to process my request. I am so grateful that I have mortgage company options. Hopefully, my next one will be client service oriented! 06/03/2026. I wanted to provide an update. I did get the verification of mortgage within 24 hours so I increased the rating to two.

We refinanced our home with planet home lending, it was a great experience. Nick Dejesus was our agent he got us everything he promised. Lower Apr lower payments years and money off the life of our loan. He was very knowledgeable and got it done quickly. I would highly recommend if you’re looking to refinance or even buy a home call them and ask for Nick.
