Dr. Robert Nelson needs to go. Hung up on me mid sentence. A joke of a provider and this is coming from a medical provider which I am myself. If I was management at this company he'd be off my team.

Poor service
Poor service , will not recommend any one to join its membership.. it’s a scam basically. Charging $135 for a doctors visit without insurance and not let anybody to use there insurance to cover the visit . When ask that if I have this particular insurance policy will it cover the visit on plush care their answer is well we don’t accept this insurance it’s not in our network , they claim that we accept certain PPO but actually they don’t , cos they want patients to pay $135 for visit

Finally, a Telehealth Provider That Actually Gets It
I’ve used a fair number of telehealth platforms over the years, and my experience
with PlushCare - specifically with Dr. James France - was genuinely one of the
better ones I've had. From the moment the appointment started, it was clear Dr.
France wasn't running through a script or trying to hit some average call-time
metric. He was attentive, asked the right follow-up questions, and, most
importantly, actually listened to what I was telling him rather than jumping ahead
to a generic diagnosis.
What stood out most was how efficient he was without ever feeling rushed. He
respected my time, got straight to the point, and diagnosed the issue accurately
on the first pass. There was no back-and-forth, no need to re-explain myself, no
sense that I was being triaged through a call center. He simply understood what I
was describing and knew exactly how to address it. As someone who values his time
and has little patience for inefficient processes, I appreciated that enormously.
The platform itself was easy to navigate, scheduling was seamless, and the whole
visit, from booking to follow-up, felt like it was designed by people who actually
thought about the patient experience rather than just checking a box for
telehealth availability.
If I had to nitpick anything at all, it would be the membership fee structure,
only because it's worth knowing about going in. That said, PlushCare offers a
complimentary first month, so you can try the service risk-free and cancel with no
charge if it's not the right fit for you. In my case, it absolutely was.
Highly recommend, and specifically recommend Dr. James France if you're looking
for a physician who's sharp, respectful, and genuinely good at what he does

Exceptional service from Derrick M. (Plush Care)
I usually don’t leave reviews but had to for this one. I was extremely stressed due to technical difficulties with the app right before an upcoming appointment. But Derrick M. stepped in and turned it all around. He was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. He made what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth, easy process. I wrote a hugely negative review a couple weeks ago because my plushcare doc was demanding in-person visits to continue my high blood pressure meds to conduct tests that I wasnt interested in doing and threatened to cut me off from meds. But woo hoo, she renewed the meds and I am just so very thankful!!
Worst care. Make sure to do your own billing because they are horrible. Also make sure to delete your debit card from your account. They will take money if "the insurnace did not respond" while they bill incorrectly. I am a very unhappy camper.

The doctor never showed
The doctor never showed, cancelled after 10 minutes and when I called customer service the only thing they did was confirm that I wouldn't be billed a late cancellation fee.
They did not apologize, they did not offer to reschedule and they could not confirm that it wouldn't happen again. They said quote "there is no gaurantee the doctor will show up"

Look for a Better Telehealth company
I signed up for an appointment, then changed my mind less than a minute later , I tried to cancel but there was an $82 cancelation fee. Their site is clunky and unintuitive, it has clunky bots that provide a very limited range of choices. I felt I was being strung along to milk as much money out of me as possible. They sent a lab order to me in a form that would not open. I would strongly advise against dealing with this company.

Worse healthcare experience I’ve ever had!
I wish I could give them 0 stars!
Very unprofessional doctors and terrible customer service. They charged me for what was advertised as a free annual checkup. I received a link inviting me to “Schedule your $0 annual checkup,” and after confirming my insurance coverage, I scheduled the appointment.
The entire visit lasted less than five minutes. The doctor only reviewed my most recent blood test and prescribed a medication. Despite this, I was later charged more than $122.
I contacted customer service multiple times and explained that I had scheduled a $0 annual checkup, but they refused to acknowledge my concerns and kept insisting that the visit was not an annual checkup. If someone schedules an annual checkup, they reasonably expect to receive an annual checkup—not to be billed for something else without their knowledge or consent.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience due to both the billing practices and the lack of meaningful customer support.

I am very disappointed with the billing…
I am very disappointed with the billing transparency. I was hit with unexpected charges that were not clearly communicated during my initial sign-up. I have insurance and was told it would obly cost my copay. I paid that, then was hit with a bill for almost $150 after tge appointment. My insurance should have covered it fully but they keep saying it didnt. When I tried to contact support to resolve these issues, the communication was poor and unhelpful. Be very careful with your payment information when creating an account and expect ealxtra fees. Tge doctor was kind and helpful but the fees are ridiculous.

Horrible! Horrible!! I have used several other online provider services and this one has been by far the worst.
Constant charges, they make you make an appointment for absolutely everything, even though their message services work just fine. They charge more for an appointment than anyone else AND they charged insurance...
Over 100$ for each appointment, 20$ a month, suggests you make an appointment every other day, when you get ahold of people through their support emails they don't answer your questions and just argue like a chat bot.. I cancelled my subscription over a month ago and am still being charged automatically... and support has been no help.
Avoid! Lavender sky health is like 60$ a year to keep a prescription lol Not 120$ a month! That's subscription price plus appointment price if you just had one.. I was on track for 3 100$ appointments to get 1 prescription that would work with my insurance... Zocdoc has no subscription fees and you just pay a normal copay btw.. and see a real doctor not a money grabber!
*** Their chat bot response below should tell you all you need to know- spent all day yesterday emailing with 10 different people to get my account cancelled and them to stop telling me I owed more money despite attaching receipts in my emails 🤷♀️. SERIOUSLY avoid unless you love unexpected charges without any prior explanation, and then them to tell you, you still owe after you've paid the balance in full 🤷♀️

Solomon is the best
I had an awful experience with a Dr. at this practice that I won't name here out of respect. Solomon quickly helped me. He was very clear and efficient. Super friendly and kind. Solomon is the epitomy of what an excellent customer representative should be. Thank you Solomon without your help I would still be crying after my visit
They misinform you by saying the dr is in-network and all you have to pay is the copay even after uploading your insurance card. This implies they need it to check your insurance. It’s a bait and switch. They tell you to pay the copay then you get stuck with the entire visit. STAY FAR AWAY FROM PLUSHCARE!

Dr Riad Abdelkarim was excellent. His manner was personable and kind. He asked pertinent questions. He explained anything I didn’t understand. He dispatched the prescriptions needed and offered encouragement. I have met twice with him and the consultations were very helpful
