Getting emails with a variety of projects is great. I do many complex projects. Then saw the bread dish towel. I needed an easy carry along item. This will be a Christmas gift for family and a few friends. Easy to order arrived quickly plus a sample of yarn. I have reordered yarn for this project.
My Linen Quill is gorgeous! Super soft, a bit rustic, perfect for my project (a self-drafted, top-down, drapey tunic), and even better than expected after seeing several raves by YouTube podcasters. Many new projects have come to mind. Plus, it arrived in less than a week (Canada) with a little Cotton Chirp. Very pleased.
The cotton/yak wool has arrived safely. I'm thrilled with the colour and texture. I haven't begun making the toddler sweater yet as my fingernails are dry and splitting from the cold weather here. I have however practised the long tail cast on method which you recommend. It does result in a much neater finish. I'm making the sweater for a 12 month old and the child is only just 6 months so I have plenty of time. Can't wait for spring here in NZ so I can get started.
