Phoned SelfStorage.com Saturday 08/01/26. Agent was courteous and answered questions well. Paid and received access code with one call. Process lengthy but thorough, terms explained well. I appreciated having an agent assist rather than completing rental on line or at storage location. Later I called back because I could not locate unit at the rental property and could not reach property management. After some insistence agent transferred me to Escalation agent who attempted her best to reach property manager. Considered booking a different storage company, was told there would be a transfer fee (I objected). Luckily transfer unnecessary. Public Storage experience: I learned facility I rented unit at has new owner managing multiple facilities. Given it was a weekend and business under new management I am willing to continue renting as long as terms remain satisfactory. My issue is it took 48 hours to resolve gaining access to unit after I had entry code. August 01, I arrived at facility office well before 5:00 pm. Closed. Unable to reach anyone by phone. Left messages. Could not locate assigned unit at facility. There is another Public Storage location 2 miles away. I drove there Monday 8/03. I found office open. Danielle, Public Storage employee explained situation. She works at location my unit is at mornings and second location afternoons. I suggested posting a notice at both office locations. Danielle was a good listener, friendly and helpful. I want to mention that Danielle had returned my call Sunday morning. I missed the call but was unable to reach her later. I was able to locate and access unit right after meeting with Danielle. I have concern the temperature in the building is too warm for a climate control unit. Will address with Property Manager asap.

Self Storage is really A great place to Store. There clean, the Prices are reasonable and easy to access the storage from Reserving to utilizing there units.
It was amazingly easy to rent a storage shed. They called me back to verify my selection.
The lady that helped get me all set up was top notch! very very patient, explained everything I needed to know, and was so so polite! the world would be a better place with billions just like her!!

Leo (the representative) was fine. It's their business model that I have an issue with. You get drawn in with a teaser rate, then as soon as the teaser expires, rates go up. That's to be expected--I don't expect a permanent discount. What is FRUSTRATING beyond belief is that nobody will tell you when prices will rise, or how much. How can you possibly budget for that, with that kind of an "agreement"? Would you lease a car or an apartment with terms that don't put a cap on how much they can raise the rate from month to month? They act like using "market rates" is some kind of valid excuse. Even market rate pricing on eggs, milk, or beef goes up and down. Has anyone ever had a DECREASE in prices? It's such a scammy way of doing business. Hoping someone gets a class action started on multiple storage unit companies because this is a predatory contract. GO TO AN INDEPENDENTLY-OWNED STORAGE FACILITY! They will treat you 1,000% better.

Brandy & Tiffany are amazing! The office is very inviting, these two are a warm welcome! They gave us a tour of the climate controlled unit before we moved in. It was nice and cold in there! The storage is clean and well maintained. These ladies even gave us snacks and water for our move. Thank you for being so kind and caring. Although we only needed storage for a week, we will rent again when needed.
Neil was amazing, he is very helpful, it is an all around super simple experience and even with a little confusion he mitigated the problem with ease! Thank you!
