I almost can't believe how amazing ShopBLT is, and I am sad that I didn't find it sooner. Love their customer service, their communication, and the incredible transparency they have about product availability and inventory levels. So happy that I find them, and will be using them for my tech shopping needs from now on.
I ordered a large OLED panel and had an excellent shopping experience. The price was great, it shipped the next day from the distributor, and arrived today in perfect condition. There were no hidden large "insurance" fees that appeared after checkout -- the price included eventhing, even delivery for an unwieldy item. I only had to pay an additional $65 fee for liftgate service since my home doesn't have a loading dock... Something I've noticed in negative reviews -- be aware that prices for out-of-stock items aren't guaranteed as they're basically holding your place in line for new stock. If you need a guarantee in advance, order stuff that's in-stock. It's all disclosed on the purchase page, but there is a lot of text.
*I have not recieved a product from them yet, but I pre-ordered a item, and the website/support seem high quality. Ordered a 1660 super from them for a incredibly low price of 274 dollars, its probably gonna take like 3 months to receive it, but im fine with that for a HUGE discounted price, (saved like 250 bucks compared to ebay prices at the time) anyway I will leave a second review or update this one when I get my item.
Great speedy service! Authentic
4 stars (for now -- subject to change). I JUST ordered 3 RX 6800s for a LAN gaming room that I am hoping to offer our student tenants (or they will be used for other purposes if that plan falls through). Didn't see that the graphics cards were pre-orders because that information was down below the item listing. (Graphics cards are a rare commodity at the moment so this is understandable.) I see a lot of negative reviews. I WANT to change this to 5-stars! I have not yet received an ETA for delivery. If I do, please stick to it. I WANT TO CHANGE THIS TO 5-STARS! lol. Good luck in this vicious market!
Shipped fast and arrived in perfect condition. Plus you guys were the only company in the country that had this item. Thanks to BLT I was the first person globally to have this cockpit. Thank you.
I ordered the HP reverb G2 cable that was notoriously going bad for the headset and they had it here in under a week fast shipping got the cable very happy.
Thank you for your business and we hope to serve you again!
Ordered a graphics card in February. Finally got an ETA for May, when the estimated ship date hit, it got delayed to August, when that ETA hit they canceled my order instead of offering a substitute, worst company ever to buy from.
When manufacturers discontinue items, we always offer customers the opportunity to replace the discontinued item with another item of their choice, without losing their position in line. It's in bold, in the e-mail that is sent to customers. Unfortunately, we are not a manufacturer and have no control over manufacturer generated ETAs or their decision to discontinue items.
All looked ok until they told me I needed to send them a photo of the front and back of my credit card. They already have my credit card number as a normal due processing a website has purchase, seems weird wanting a photo. Forgot it, I will go elsewhere
This requirement is for all international first time customers. It is a one time requirement. It is clearly stated in the Terms of Sale, and directly on the order form.
ZERO accuracy on their product shipping times. They straight up lie about it. There is no way you go from expecting a product in a couple on months to not at all on such a regular basis. You're liars. You don't go from 'products eta 2 months' to '2 months' after those 2 months, then end up at 'no eta' on HUNDREDS of your products on a regular basis. You are liars. End of. Final Edit: Shopblt's David was confronted over the phone about their conniving nature on this review page. They require to identify your self as a manner of trying to prevent bad reviews or scare you out of doing it, because they have photos of your credit card. Who would want to p*ss off the people who have photos of your credit card? I called David and asked him to identify him self further, a manner of returning his attitude with filtering reviews. He took personal offense to this method of making a point. They only try to grab the info of negative reviewers. When I tried to move on to discussing the issues of taking orders for products which they are slated to receive '16,000' of then suddenly expect nothing. he was not interested. David hung up on me because he didn't like the tough questions about his business practices. He then disconnected their office phone line for the rest of the day, or did not answer it. You can see other negative reviews here which he quite literally 'keyboard warriors' for Shopblt over. He is a paid internet shill. He even harasses reviewers outside of their business hours, as shown by his updates to his edits. He spends more time internet arguing than he does doing anything else associated with SHOPBLT, his business. Shopblt has also stopped referring to Trustpilot on their website due to them being blown out in this review section. They had Trustpilot scrubbed from their site because they wouldnt take down the negative reviews. P.S. SHOPBLT banned my I.P. from their website for posting this review and the observation that the words 'Trustpilot' no longer come up on their website. They cross referenced my cell phone number and banned anything my account connected to the website on. This confirms my suspicion of why they wanted me to identify my self to them. I will be watching my credit cards for suspicious activity. Cute of them to refer to me as 'Jacob' as well. Jacob made the orders with his card, he is my business partner. I do the talking when it comes down these sorts of problems. He thinks it scares Jacob or I that he brings up a name that isn't associated with this review. Slick, very slick. You'll get your comeuppance from customers who don't appreciate having their info skimmed and orders cancelled 6 months later, especially when you behave like petulant children about negative reviews. Cease and desist what? Warning people ? Get a life. Your seething over the phoneline at me was pathetic. You really do sound like frustrated scammers who are indignant at the fact that someone pointed out that your practices stink. You could have taken responsibility for your practices, instead you've seriously convinced me of what the review has stated. Clean up your act.
FINAL RESPONSE: We've explained multiple times, including here, that we have no control over product discontinuation. You called our office at least 30 times today, if not more. Your IP was banned from our site due to your continual harassment, and the vulgar voice messages you've left, and recorded insults you've made to our staff. We've asked you via e-mail to stop contacting us. We'd prefer not to involve the authorities and file a harassment report. Our business with you is terminated. UPDATED REPLY: Hi Jacob. We kindly request that cease and desist in posting false statements about our company. We have not "scrubbed" Truspilot from our site. Our link to this very page is located here: https://www.shopblt.com/about.shtml, which can be accessed by clicking the two links that appear on every single page of the site. The removal of Truspilot branding from the site is currently an issue we're trying to work out with the company itself, and has nothing to do with our rating. UPDATED REPLY: No, you called stating that you couldn't confirm if the person you were talking to worked for the company, after calling the company phone number -- which is illogical. You were aggressive and weren't calling to discuss the issue. You were calling for the sake of making a mountain out of a molehill of Trustpilot simply asking you for documentation that you were our customer. We told you to have a nice day and we disconnected the call. UPDATED REPLY: We require all reviewers to verify that they are customers. There's nothing wrong with that. You didn't reply to the first inquiry so we flagged your review. We cannot identify you by the alias "Jordan Peterson", obviously, so your review was flagged. If customers provide documentation to Trustpilot in the initial request, reviews are not flagged as not being from a legitimate customer. UPDATED REPLY: The "cookie cutter" response is exactly correct. There's no other information to provide. You make assumptions with what we assume is zero experience reselling computer equipment over the past 30 years, which is what we have. What would be the purpose of "lying" to customers with ETAs? To generate bad reviews? To burn bridges with customers? What, exactly, would we get out of "lying" to customers? Nothing. Your review is based on obviously limited / no knowledge of how the reseller channel works. We provide the ETA data we're provided. It's that simple and that's all there is to it. ORIGINAL REPLY: We do not generate ETAs. They come directly from the manufacturers and suppliers from whom we purchase. Unfortunately, we have no control over the speed and quantity of production by the manufacturers. We simply must wait for them to produce sufficient product to fill the orders. When they push back their ETA's, there is truly nothing we can do about it. We are always seeking alternative sources for products, and do our best to fill orders whenever possible. And, there is no charge to place a pre-order, and customers are free to cancel at any time without penalty, should they find the item elsewhere.
I was concerned about my purchase with this company because some bad reviews I read about it but to my surprise my item was the last one in stock and they shipped right away and came exactly as was described so don’t know why some people don’t get the same service but my was excellent I will buy again from them if I find something I need Their price was better than anyone else
Thank you for your thoughtful review. In answer to your question, everyone gets the same level of service, however, folks who order out of stock items have problems with manufacturer's delays and prefer to blame us when they miss their ETAs. When manufacturers meet or exceed the estimated arrival date, however, we rarely get reviews from those folks, thus the disparity in reviews regarding ETAs. Thank you for your business and we hope to serve you again!
Ordered a pole speaker stand that arrived damaged. The box was badly damaged and couldn't be used to return it. I contacted Shop.BLT.com explained the situation, sent pictures and filled out return form. Within 2 days I received email stating refund was applied to my cc. Great customer service!
Best price for product, fast shipping, product exactly as described
I'd never shopped at ShopBLT, and I needed a corporate licence renewal for a Trend Micro antivirus suite. Price was good and processing of the renewal was fast. I got the renewal codes from Trend Micro within a day, which is 2-5 days faster than with vendors I'd used in the past. Can't confirm it was ShopBLT or Trend Micro who was faster but, regardless, the process was fast and as painless as it can be for spending thousands of $$.
Great service, I just wish they accept Paypal. Come on ShopBLT, it's 2021 and all you take are credit cards? Time to raise up your game. PS: To answer your reply, this takes two stars off your service because nobody likes to give away her/his credit card details while secure online payment methods like Paypal or Venmo are available. Most online resellers use Paypal or other similar secure service, I don't see why you cannot.
That may be coming soon. We've investigated it in the past and found their costs to be prohibitive. Not sure why that deserves two stars off our service, though. UPDATED REPLY: Unfortunately, some of these services do not fit our pre-order business model, which is why they're not currently used.
Horrible customer service. They DO NOT deliver on their ETAs. Complete waste of time. Don’t bother using them. They just make constant excuses. Try to blame the manufacturer, but other vendors seem to be able to meet their ETAs. Hmm.
So we have horrible customer service because manufacturers miss their ETAs? That certainly doesn't make much sense. We do not generate ETAs. They come directly from the manufacturers and suppliers from whom we purchase. We understand, and share your frustration over delays.
You have to jump through some extra hoops to order from here, such as having to confirm small authorizations to your credit card before completing an order. Also, read carefully about their order cancellation and return policies. After that the process was fine; my order was shipped from Ingram, which is a wholesaler that many indie retailers use, and it was delivered quickly.
Certain policies only apply to certain situations, such as verifying you are the authorized card holder. This is one time process and is not repeated on subsequent orders. We purchase from a variety of distributors and manufacturers, with Ingram being just one of them. Thank you for your business and we hope to serve you again.
best price and fast delivery. believe me, they're the best!
