After reading write-up, realized I have been shopping with ShopLC since they opened in 2007. Nineteen years is a long time to be with one "shopping spot" where you get quality products of all kinds and prices are great and no gouging. There is only so much a standard representative can help you with. When you request to speak to a Supervisor, it doesn’t matter how nice the representative is, you should be able to speak to a Supervisor. You can not be transferred to a Supervisor. If you insist, they can transfer you to a voice mail box. I left several messages one week and never received a call back. When things go good you are fine, but when they (Shop LC) take a budget payment out that was paid earlier and you are short $360, you need someone who can help!! I am still trying to resolve this issue and it has now been two weeks. Buyers beware!

Within a very short time and I’m talking, maybe a month and a half or so this ring has lost two diamonds. I contacted the company and they are not willing to do anything saying I only had 30 for a refund. I didnt want a refund I would take a replacement or a repair. But the fact that I spent $2000 on this ring and lost a diamond within a month of wearing it and now a second diamond within 2 months speaks to the poor quality. I called them asking for some sort of resolution and they told me they could do NOTHING for me because it was past 30 days. I didn’t even wear it for the first month as it was an anniversary gift so I waited until our anniversary. Shameful that I spent two grand on this and they won’t back their product. I will never ever ever order from this company again and I hope other people don’t.

ShopLC has been the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. ShopLC is the only retailer that acts as if refunding a customer for a damaged or defective item returned within their 30-day return period is somehow an "EXCEPTION" instead of a basic responsibility. They routinely refuse to issue full refunds for the return of damaged items and profit by charging customers restocking and shipping fees, even when the item arrived defective. They sent me the damaged item (Item #8241465 on auction) twice. The first time, I sent them clear photos showing the damage and returned the item within a few days of receiving it. I also informed them that I was not comfortable going to USPS at their specified times. Despite this, I returned the item, even though I was sick for two days. To make matters worse, they did not give me a full refund. They charged a restocking fee for a damaged item and clearly refused to issue a full refund, even though I returned it within 30 days and had already sent them photos as evidence. Their supervisor blamed me for the condition of the item, refused to issue a refund, and hung up the call instead of taking responsibility for sending a damaged product and issuing a refund. Right after receiving the damaged Item #8241465, I placed another order for the same item because I liked it a lot. Before it shipped, I escalated my concerns to multiple customer service agents and specifically requested that the item be carefully inspected before shipping. They completely ignored my request and sent me another damaged piece with black spots. After making the same mistake twice, they expected me to either keep the defective item without any refund or go through another return process, despite already knowing about my health condition. They would likely blame me again for the damage. I also received Item #8301049 with the polish already wearing off, exposing the black surface underneath. They ignored it completely. No customer places an order expecting to return the same item repeatedly. Customers expect to receive the quality that is advertised. Instead, ShopLC delivers damaged merchandise, wasted time, unnecessary stress, and endless frustration. Their customer service is just as disappointing as their products. The agents are defensive, argumentative, and constantly interrupt and argue with customers instead of listening. Rather than solving the problems they created, they look for ways to shift responsibility onto the customer. Their gold jewelry has also been consistently lower in weight than advertised. Even after escalating my concerns and specifically asking them to send a properly inspected piece, they still shipped another defective item. I am completely done with ShopLC. I would rather buy gold or any other item from reputable sellers who price their jewelry based on live gold prices with reasonable making charges than ever deal with ShopLC again. They are very good at making defensive comments, blaming customers, and lying in their replies here. Their agents are the worst I have ever experienced. They are very argumentative, dishonest and retaliatory. They target specific customers who write honest negative reviews. They never post bad reviews of any item on their product pages. If something looks cheap, remember that your mental health and peace of mind may end up paying the real price. I would never recommend ShopLC to anyone.
