I love the suitcase. What I love even more is the customer service. When I had an unexpected problem with my suitcase they helped me right away and sent a replacement without much ado. I highly recommend Solgaard!

I have 3 suitcases . I had a problem with one unit that had a crack and their warranty actually works. It was an easy process for replacement which is not typical in this industry Based on this experience I would definitely recommend their product
Stood by their lifetime warranty! Fellow travelers, I am not one to write a review - ever. However, I feel compelled to tell you about my exceptional experience with Solgaard. Mainly because it happens so rarely that we are actually satisfied with customer service and a product. In early 2023 I purchased two 22inch suitcases and have been on over 30 international trips since then. Over period of time both suitcases started to crack in the corner where the black metal tab is bolted into the plastic. I love these suitcases. They’re so easy to handle, beautiful and whether you use the hanging closet or not, it is easy to pack a lot in such a compact case. I contacted Solgaard customer service center via email, and sent a few pictures asking if they might please honor their warranty. Much to my surprise and a few emails later, two brand new Solgaard 22inch suitcases appeared in my doorway. I am overjoyed with the service that I received from Jess on the Solgaard Team. Even though I did not have my original receipt, had moved, and had also changed my last name- she found my original order and processed my claim. They also allowed me to donate the two used suitcases. These suitcases are stylish and I love the combination locks. I’ve never had a problem with the TSA approved combination locks, domestically or internationally. I would highly recommend them. Yes I know they’re a little pricey, but they are worth it. Especially when you know if one wears out you’re going to get a replacement. A company that honors their lifetime warranty! I feel like I won the suitcase lottery - thanks guys. You have a customer for life.

Armely was super helpful in fulfilling my request for warranty. My family and I all love Solgaard luggage- we have several bags and always recommend them to others. My carry on latch broke after 2 years of use and it was quickly replaced by Solgaard with Armelys assistance and excellent customer care. Thank you!

I travel regularly and the Solgaard luggage has been the best I've ever had. They are strong, unique, easy to pack and lock, all of it. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is I think the "closet" is kind of cheezy. You definitely can't pack as much in the closet unit as in the suite case itself so I've only used it once. Other than that it's great. And their customer service is outstanding!

I have 3 bags from Solgaard - 2 check-in bags and one carry on. I find the bags most comfortable to pack in and to wheel. The absence of zips makes them sturdier and easier to use. The shelving system is very good and makes it easy to pack & use. Finally, their customer service is amazing. They truly care to understand the needs of the customer and to support them as required.

I love my Solgaard Check-in Closet Large!!! It is my absolute favorite suitcase ever!!! It gets used all year long for all my work and personal travel! I had a piece of luggage damaged during a road trip. Damage was at the bottom and I would have needed to buy another just to get home. I contacted solgaard and asked about their policy. After providing requested information and details. The response was “We will be glad to replace your item “. This was all within about 72 hours! Item shipped within next 48 hours! We own three pieces, if we need another it’ll be a solgaard!

During a recent overseas trip, one of our Solgaard luggage pieces sustained damage, exhibiting cracks at the corners, and the rivets on one corner became dislodged, likely due to the efforts of "industrious international airline baggage handlers." Upon my return to the United States, I reached out to the Solgaard customer service team regarding my luggage warranty. Armely, a commendable member of "The Solgaardian Squad," (their naming, not mine) promptly responded to my warranty inquiry within a few hours. Armely began by expressing her apologies for the unfortunate situation and subsequently provided a detailed explanation of the warranty process, which required proper verification of the Solgaard luggage in order to proceed with the claim. Following verification of my luggage bag, Armely processed the claim and kept me informed with updates regarding the progress of the warranty processing. Within one week of our initial contact through the Solgaard website, we received a "new" warranty replacement luggage. As owners of a highly successful travel business, we take pride in offering travel advice and sharing our firsthand experiences to effectively recommend overseas destinations. We are often asked about the luggage we trust for our international trips. This warranty experience strongly reinforces and confirms our original decision to purchase from Solgaard. Without a doubt, we will be returning to Solgaard for our next luggage purchase!

The luggage itself is very sturdy and easy to wheel. However, the closet part of this luggage is very cumbersome and not easy to use. I purchased this luggage over 6 months ago, but didn't get a chance to use the closet part until just recently. One of the mesh pockets was ripped and I had to sew it back together. The closet is very difficult to maneuver and wouldn't fit all our clothes for the 12 day trip. For what I paid for this luggage, I expected better quality and easy handling. I contacted the company but they were not helpful because it was past the date I could return it. I wouldn't recommend this luggage. I contacted the company directly and they were not helpful. They gave me the information to view the video, which I had already seen before packing the luggage. Then told me there was nothing they can do about the flaw in the mesh, that I had to sew before using, since it was well after my purchase date.

I have owned this luggage for 5 years now and I still love it. I don't really have to unpack, just hang it up. I recently noticed a small crack in the shell and I contacted customer service and sent them a picture. I know how tough the airlines are on luggage so I did not know if they could do anything for me. They contacted me right away and apologized for the inconvenience. They told me they would send me a replacement. The original case was the smaller carryon that conformed to European standards. I asked if the replacement piece could be the larger one that works well on domestic airlines and they said fine and only charged me the difference in the cost of the new case. It is difficult nowadays to be able to talk to a person from customer service let alone get any satisfaction. Everyone I heard from was helpful, respectful and quick to respond. I have loved this product and have been singing its praise to anyone that would listen. That was before my interactions with customer service. More companies should put as much importance on customer satisfaction as Solgaard does. I will continue to sing their praise to anyone who will listen.

After two years of use our wheels on our suitcases became hard to turn. Solgaard made it easy to request replacements for the wheels. Their response was quick. I was impressed by how professional the agent was that dealt with our issue.

I bought a Solgaard Backpack over the holidays. I love all the organization and structure the pack has. When I started noticing some issues with the straps, Solgaard was extremely responsive. My issue was resolved in a few emails back and forth, and I have a replacement on the way!!

About 4 years ago, I purchase a Solgaard suitcase as I loved the closet organizer aspect. It's a great suitcase. The handle is super sturdy and easy to maneuver. My husband has a Samsonite, and the handle is already bent and flimsy, not Solgaard. I recently noticed a crack in my hard-shell suitcase. I reached out to Customer Service, showed some photos, sent a video of the damage and next day, they shipped me a brand new replacement suitcase! I am beyond thrilled with them backing their lifetime warranty and sending me a new suitcase. Thank you, Solgaard!

We have been using Solgaard suitcases for years - we have both the Carry-0n and Check-In versions. Our sets have visited St. Eustatia, St. Martin, Germany, France, Austria, Hungary, Italy and across the US. On our most recent trip, one of the domestic airlines were not so gentle with one of the suitcases and caused damage. I contacted Solgaard Support and Kristine from the Solgaardian Squad replied to my request. Without hestitation, Kristine initiated a new case to be sent to us without charge. This is service that exceeds expectations - thank you!!!!!

Love the product and their warranty. Customer service is quick and on point. Emailed Solgaard and got a response from one of their reps, Kristine. She handled it flawlessly. Just had to send some details and a photo and it felt like it was taken care of in moments. Sent the email less than a week ago and the new luggage is already set to arrive tomorrow. The only delay was my response time or it may have already gotten here. Will be purchasing more products in the future.
