This training was so comprehensive! I completed the 200 hour training and got way more than I thought I would. I have a family member who is going through a different 200hr program and isnt getting as much as this course provides as far as the yogic philosophy and sutra. I feel very confident about teaching and have a great "toolbox" full of ways to modify and support all learners.
Great course to expand the knowledge about hatha/vinyasa yoga, understand yoga philosophy, learn about chakra/mantras, understand and practice correct alignment of yoga poses, learn how to teach yoga and practice your skills. I like that they offer enough information to help you create your niche and build a yoga practice that best suits you and your students. Group classes are accessible, organized, insightful and helpful! Teachers are amazing, each of them has something unique to offer. The website course is organized and user friendly. The details of these modules made everything great! All of the expectations are thorough, clear and repeated several times so you can’t forget. You are given a good amount of videos, everything said in videos is given in writing, everything can be printed and downloaded to your computer. They give advanced options on yoga and alternative options. They are very quick to respond, they answer all your questions and make sure you understand. This experience was amazing.
I’m so grateful for my experience with Yoga Renew and for the opportunity to complete my 200-hour YTT! What I loved most about the training was the exploration. It really opened my eyes to how much more there is to yoga than the poses themselves. Exploring philosophy, anatomy, sequencing, cueing, transitions, and the overall arc of a class were all important parts! Learning to look at all of these elements from a teaching perspective is very different from experiencing them as a student, and that shift in perspective was both challenging and rewarding. There were definitely parts of the training that pushed me outside of my comfort zone, but those challenges ended up being some of the most valuable parts of the experience. They encouraged me to think more deeply about how I want to teach, the kind of teacher I want to become, and how I can bring my own perspective and authenticity into my teaching. I also really appreciated the quality of the training materials and resources throughout the program. The curriculum felt thoughtful and comprehensive. I walked away having learned so much more than how to teach yoga. I also learned about the practice itself and about myself. I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and sharing yoga with others!
