I believe this company to be acting illegally. I believed I was visiting their site for a one off conversion at a cost of .90p. I then after 7 days was charged a monthly charge of £39.99, which they refuse to return. Any company according to the Digital Markets , Competition and Consumers act, who hide their subscription charge in their Terms and Conditions is guilty of "Substrap". I have e-mailed Martin Lewis and advise anyone else caught by this company to do likewise, as if enough people write, it could well be exposed on his programme. You need to give your name and telephone number, in the email. Zoomconvert in my opinion is a disgrace.

I couldn't prove I cancelled after the first surprise subscription bill. (Read the fine print.) I was charged again, but only hours before my cancellation was processed. They maintain nothing can be done. Don't trust their on-line cancellation. Do a screen capture of your cancellation, and email it to them. These guys are not 'average'. I have now email zoom convert 3 times asking for detail on how to cancel my unwanted subscription and I have had no reply unlike the other lady who commented they had been very helpful so I would not recommend I am not asking for a refund as it’s obviously my own fault for not reading all the info but after one years subscription has been taken I need to cancel 🤨

I ordered a one off conversion for 90p .I could not get it to work so I cancelled my membership in the App, and deleted the app. 7 days later I was charged £39.99, I explained the issue, they know I have not used it since the first attempt but flatly refuse to refund me the subscription. I Do not recommend yhus firm at all and would encourage others to shop around and use firms with a decent customer service record.

Very confusing subscription details. Aware the initial cost was for a one week trial. Very surprised when after one week charged £39.99 for a recurring monthly subscription. The conversion didn't work anyway! In my opinion this company is very aware of its sharp practice regarding the recurring payment system. Most users online download a product looking to fix a problem quickly. A reminder via email directly informing the customer about a monthly charge would enable customers to be absolutely aware of further ongoing charges. I would give it zero stars.

When I had needed to use zoomconvert to change a jpeg file to pdf I paid .90p, I hadn't realised I would be charged £39.99 seven days later for subscription. I had a panic when checked the balance on my credit card statement. I immediately sent zoomconvert a message with regard to this on their support form, the following morning I had received a message back to confirm a full refund would be issued. Excellent service! I gave only 3 stars due to the automatic sign up process, not the convert service which had been a must at the time.
