Excellent software, but be aware signing up for one week’s access as I did, in order to convert just 2 files, places you in a subscription cycle which renews at the end of that week unless you cancel. This is stated on the website, something I overlooked because I was in hurry to get documents to sign a contract, but not clearly highlighted on the invoice for that week’s access. Converting the 2 documents has therefore cost me £41.98.

Beware of the monthly subscription costs. I thought I was only being charged £0.90 for converting a file. However I had two monthly subscriptions of £39.99 automatically taken from my account. I contacted customer support and asked for a refund for the monthly subscription costs and I was advised I had signed up to this in their terms and conditions. If you are looking to convert a file DO NOT use this company. It is a classic scam subscription service. I thought I was paying 90p for a single file conversion, missing the very small print declaring that I was subscribing to a service charging £39.99 a month! Turns out the conversion I paid for was actually a trial. I received no email notification of the subscription renewing after my 'trial' and when I realised TWO MONTHS after I first used the service that I'd been charged a further £80 for a service I had not used and didn't know I was subscribed to, customer services refused to refund me. I explained multiple times how misled I was and in turn I was told it was in the terms and conditions I agreed to to convert the original file. DO NOT PAY FOR FILE CONVERSION, there are so many free options. This company is making the most of misleading and exploiting individuals when this is clearly software for business and company use. Thoroughly frustrating, a significant amount of money to lose with zero help from customer support.

I signed up for a 1 off 90p conversion. Less than a week later the company have billed me for £39.99 even though I had emailed their "support" and told them not to take any more payments from me 3 days earlier. Not only that I couldn't do what they I needed to do with them. The terms and conditions are certainly NOT clear. Don't use them there must be legitimate business out there who have clear and obvious charging and don't try and rip you off This feels like a company that prioritises profit over clarity, relying on customers to miss the fine print. It really makes you compare them with companies whose terms are transparent and who send clear reminders before a subscription renews. If I had seen there was a subscription I would have cancelled it but this was not obvious when I logged on. A company should be believe in their product enough not to rip off potential customers.

I attempted to use what I thought was a one off payment to convert a pdf. It didn't work and having only spent a couple of £, I put it down to experience and went on to use another free service which was simpler and cost free. I now see that the initial payment came out of my account on the 1st June, followed by two further payments on 16th June and 6th July, these payments for £39.99 each. I contacted the customer service team who informed me that I by paying the initial £1.99 I had signed up for a subscription service, though nothing in my inbox or junk mail to confirm this. The payments are also weirdly spaced, by my reckoning the 2nd payment was taken 10 days early, which surely isn't legal. A refund is being refused by the company and I will now have to go via my bank. Im retired and don't use computers, so easy to end up duped by unscrupulous companies making money for nothing.
