This is my second trip with China Highlights both with travel advisor Mr. Liberman.
He is really attentive and accommodating, he understands well my travel needs. I requested to book air tickets from my country and he expertly arrange it with ample time in between transit flights to anticipate any delays in flights. He is also monitoring my trip well from departure, during, and coming back home. He ensures I meet with my tour guide and driver to pick me up. Very recommended and I feel comfortable and safe. My guide is Ms. Sunny and she already waited at the airport to meet me. She is really knowledgeable about the places we visit and great communication skills. She listens to my preference in food and places, care about my well-being and health as I adjust to sunny weather of Singapore to -30 degree Celsius of Inner Mongolia. She accompanies me all the time and guide me with information about the places we visit. I’m very pleased to know her as she is also warm-hearted person.
Our driver is Mr. Ma and he is really expert navigator and always prioritise safety in our journey. I prefer to eat in places like locals and he really knows all the places! Our foods are super delicious and authentic and Mr. Ma always helpful with my belongings!
This is my second China visit and I can say I am very happy I choose Inner Mongolia trip with China Highlights. The people here are warm hearted, honest, the places are clean, hotels selections are very good. These places are all natural wonders and new to me. I feel flabbergasted with the natural beauty of Inner Mongolia and the people.

Two US Seniors had a very pleasurable visit to Hangzhou for a day and a half. Our guide Susan spoke very good English. Enjoyed the West Lake area and had a relaxing tea ceremony nearby. China Highlights’ Virginia did a great job of organizing our trip. Highly recommend. We communicated via WHATSAPP when outside of China for planning the trip.
Leeky organized my family’s China trip this past October to Beijing, Chongqing, Guilin, Chengdu, Hangzhou, and Shanghai, and it included everything we wanted and more! We were a family of four travelling with two kids, and our tour guide, Eric Liu, took exceptionally good care of us throughout the trip. He is a very thoughtful and attentive guide who constantly looked out for our needs and made sure we were comfortable at all times. We truly appreciate his kindness, patience, and the extra care he showed our family during the entire tour.

We recently booked a 15-day trip from Beijing to Xi'an, Chongqing, Guilin and Guangzhou through China Highlights and our experience was amazing! May Liu planned our trip for us and she really did a great job. She responded quickly and concisely to any of our questions and made sure to consider all of our wishes and preferences. Despite the time difference it never took her more than a day to answer and we were able to include every experience we wanted. The trip was well structured and we were well taken care of by our guides and drivers. The activities were balanced and very enjoyable! We saw many different sides of china and very safe and taken care of while doing so. The hotels May chose were all incredible and check in/out went smoothly. The only problem was that we somehow were not able to log into the Wlan or order room service because rooms services needed a chinese phone number. The train journeys were very uncomplicated, our guides always brought us to our platform and carefully explained at what stop we needed to get off. Once we arrived our new guide was waiting for us and we never had a problem finding them. It was the same for our flights, pick up and drop off didn't have any issues or delays. Through our entire journey May stayed in contact with us via WeChat and was constantly checking if everything was okay and we were happy with our vacation. She would have been available during an emergency throughout our vacation, but due to her amazing planning we basically didn't need to contact her at all. However it was great that we could depend on her and gave us sufficient peace of mind to completely focus on enjoying the trip. Our personal highlight was probably the banquet experience in Beijing where we got to try on traditional chinese clothing and enjoy a fancy dinner accompanied by a fascinating performance. We feel like the value for money was very fair and every cent was definitely worth it. We would totally recommend china highlights as a travel agency for a nice trip through china and especially May Liu as your travel agent!

professional, top-quality, full-service Asia trips
We have taken three trips with this company during our last three annual fall family vacations: in 2023 to Vietnam, 2024 to South Korea, and just recently in 2025 to China. In every case, our travel organizer, Jason Li, put together fantastic activities that matched perfectly with our family's interests. With our Asia Highlights and China Highlights guides, we've done everything from big city architectural sightseeing to small-town foodie tours by Vespa to remote back-country hiking to historical sites galore (temples, archeological sites, palaces, battle fields, etc.) to arts and crafts activities (e.g. a Chinese calligraphy lesson)... you name it, this company has delivered it for us. Every time, our trips have been perfectly organized. We've had extremely excellent, knowledgeable and friendly guides in each location, great hotels in fantastic locations, friendly and professional drivers -- the whole works. And on the rare occasion when some small hiccup has come up along the way, as inevitably happens in all travel adventures, our guides and travel planner have always immediately found a way to solve the problem such that we could just sit back, relax, and enjoy our trips. We were skeptical at first about booking through a company based in China (we live in Germany), but we have never once regretted our choice. This company consistently delivers excellent trips and for a cheaper price than their western competitors. We highly recommend them.

We had a wonderful 2 day tour to check out all highlights
We had a wonderful time with Jessie, our guide. We actually covered a lot of ground in 2 days! We started in the morning and headed to the forbidden city, the temple of heavens visited a Hutong and finished the day at Tianemen square. Jessie explained the history and cultural context of everything to us. She knows all shortcuts and good angles for pictures. We started really early on the second day to beat the crowds for the Great Wall of China. After that we went to the summer palace. Everything was beautifully organized! Highly recommend

We are experienced travelers who enjoy private guided tours. Our group of 4 were on a 5D4N private tour to the Henan province with China Highlights. Our guide Lisa was fantastic and very knowledgeable. She explained the background and history of the places we visited throughout our tour. She also helped us take lots of photos. Our driver was professional and ensured a safe journey. The entire team were friendly, helpful, well organised and efficient. We truly enjoyed our entire trip and a memorable experience for us.
We went on a 5D4N trip to Henan province in Sep/Oct 2025 by China Highlights covering Luoyang, Dengfeng/Shaolin, Yun Tai Mountain and Kaifeng. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and are truly fascinated by the sights & spectacular views of the scenic spots visited. 2 of our favourites include the Hongshi (Red Stone) Gorge and old Luoyang city with all the ancient buildings & architecture. Best of all, we have an excellent tour guide, Lisa who has a strong command of the English language and was able to explain everything we need to know at each scenic spot concisely & clearly. She gave us a very good picture not only of the sights visited but also Henan province as a whole, from the cultural, historical, social & even economic aspects which we really appreciate. And to top it off, Lisa is a great photographer & took many nice, sharp and vibrant pictures of us from different angles that brought about the best outcome. This truly delighted us. We had a brilliant tour of China organised by Serena Zhao who was also available during the tour for any problems. The visits were planned according to our possibilities - (we are a a couple 'over 70') and the guides were always punctual and helpful both for historical info and help at restaurants or local events (Chinese theatre is spectacular!)The guides were all first class: Jessica (Beijng) , Rita (Datong), Paul (Xian), Helen (Chengdu), Lily (Guilin) Summer (Hangzhou), and Peter and Martin in Shanghai and of course the drivers with comfortable cars.
