Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently shared stories about terrible issues with customer service, pointing out that support teams were completely unhelpful and ignored their requests. Consumers also noted unexpected extra fees, disorganized booking processes, and severe flight delays that completely ruined their travel plans. Conversely, a small portion of people felt the journey was comfortable and praised the polite cabin crew during their trips. Travelers also stated that online booking was smooth and efficient, while some individuals found the overall ticket prices to be very reasonable for a budget airline service.

I am extremely disappointed and angry…

I am extremely disappointed and angry with the way IndiGo handled my journey from London to Chandigarh via Delhi on 10th September. My flight from London Heathrow was scheduled to depart at 8:15 PM. It was already around 30 minutes late departing and eventually reached Delhi around 45 minutes late. I had a connecting IndiGo flight from Delhi at 2:00 AM, which was supposed to take me to Chandigarh at around 3:00 AM. The biggest problem was the luggage information. When I booked the ticket, it appeared that my luggage would be handled through to Chandigarh, and I paid a higher fare accordingly. However, when I reached the IndiGo counter at London Heathrow, I was suddenly told that I would have to collect my luggage in Delhi and then drop it again for the domestic flight. This was extremely frustrating because I had specifically paid more for the ticket believing that the baggage would be transferred through to Chandigarh. I feel that I wasted my money because of the incorrect or unclear information provided during the booking/check-in process. After reaching Delhi, I completed immigration as quickly as possible. I was already at the upper level around 1:30 AM, well before my 2:00 AM connecting flight. I explained my entire situation to the IndiGo staff and told them that my flight had arrived late and that I had to collect and re-drop my luggage. Instead of helping me, I was repeatedly sent from one place to another. One staff member told me to go to one zone, another told me to go somewhere else. Nobody was willing to give me a clear answer or take responsibility for the situation. I finally went directly to the boarding gate, hoping someone there would help me, but I was told that I still had to drop my luggage. I immediately rushed back to the baggage-drop counter, only to be told that the counter was already closed. This was an absolutely horrible experience. I had just completed an extremely long journey from London, my flight was already 45 minutes late, and despite reaching the airport area well before my connecting flight, I was left running around the airport between different counters with no proper guidance or assistance from IndiGo staff. The most frustrating part is that I was not simply late for my connecting flight. I was there and actively trying to catch it, but due to the late arrival, baggage requirements and, most importantly, the complete lack of coordination and assistance from IndiGo staff, I ended up missing my connection. I paid a premium for my ticket, yet I received unclear baggage information, poor coordination, no proper assistance and an extremely stressful experience after travelling all the way from London. This is completely unacceptable. IndiGo needs to take responsibility for what happened and explain why passengers are given unclear baggage information and then left to deal with the consequences themselves. I am extremely disappointed with IndiGo and would definitely think twice before booking with this airline again.

I was on a flight from Mumbai to…

I was on a flight from Mumbai to Maldives and I bought fast forward however normally they have a separate roped queue for fast forward but they didn’t have this queue for fast forward on this instance then they just asked me to cut in on the regular line and go from there obviously which irked some of the passengers were on the queue.. it’s happened to me a couple of times now. So what’s the point of paying extra to buy fast forward when there’s no purpose?

**Very disappointing experience with…

**Very disappointing experience with IndiGo – serious concerns about passenger care** I had a very difficult experience travelling with IndiGo from **GOX to Mumbai and onwards to London on 8 September 2026**. My original flight from GOX was cancelled, with the explanation that the aircraft was unable to land. I was then moved onto a GOX–Delhi flight, with the crew initially indicating that I should still be able to make my onward connection. However, after checking the flight information, it became clear that the onward London flight had been significantly delayed. I eventually travelled to Delhi, but while we were mid-flight, passengers were informed that due to a technical issue affecting Heathrow, the aircraft would instead land in **Paris**. On arrival in Paris at around 11pm, passengers were directed into Terminal 1. What was particularly disappointing was the **lack of IndiGo crew presence or meaningful assistance**. There were no clear arrangements for food or passenger support, and passengers were left trying to work out what to do themselves. This was particularly serious for me because I am a **dialysis patient** and my health was deteriorating. I became extremely unwell and had to seek assistance from airport paramedics, who checked my vital signs. I subsequently contacted the British Embassy for help in reaching London so that I could continue with my medical treatment. The British Embassy was exceptionally helpful. They contacted Eurostar management and assisted me in arranging onward travel to London. I paid approximately **€300 for the Eurostar journey**, together with approximately **€380 in other travel expenses** getting from the airport to the train station. I also incurred additional costs with my **Heathrow car parking**, as I had originally planned to collect my vehicle earlier but could not do so due to the disruption. I was unable to collect my car on 9 September because I had to attend a dialysis unit until late that evening and was already exhausted. What stood out to me was the contrast between IndiGo and other airlines. I saw Qatar Airways representatives actively assisting and guiding their passengers during the disruption. I appreciate that the technical problem may not have been entirely within IndiGo's control, but **how passengers are looked after during an unexpected disruption is absolutely within the airline's responsibility**. I would also like to mention that I had paid extra for a **stretcher/extra-space seating arrangement** because of the cramped seating and my circumstances. The British Embassy and airport paramedics showed genuine concern for my wellbeing when I needed assistance most. Unfortunately, I did not experience the same level of passenger care from IndiGo. I understand that airlines can experience cancellations, delays and technical problems. However, passengers should not be left without appropriate assistance, particularly when there are vulnerable passengers with serious medical needs. This was an extremely stressful and uncomfortable experience, and I believe IndiGo needs to significantly improve its **passenger care, communication and support during major disruptions**. My advice to fellow travellers is to think carefully when choosing an airline. Sometimes paying a little more for an airline with stronger customer service and passenger support can be worthwhile. Whether you pay £1 or £1,000, **you deserve to be treated with care, dignity and respect when things go wrong.** I hope IndiGo reviews what happened, including the lack of support provided to passengers in Paris, and takes steps to ensure other passengers do not experience the same situation.

Fraudulent

Still waiting for my refund. All different variations come out of the AI Generated tosh that their call centre staff use. Keep contantly telling me to chase the bank bc it should have been there 7 days max after 13 August. I keep telling them it isn't there. Then they will tell me to contact booking.com for some crazy reason. I did not pay this to booking.com. Then they tell me it went to another card that isn't mine. It is like a random number generator except it produces rubbish explanations for their incompetence. I actually think a firm cannot employ so many stupid people and this is actually their game to take money for flights they never intended running and pocket everyone's money. There is a pattern of this in the reviews. It is after all impossible to be as dumb as they seem.

Untrusted Refund Process

I booked a ticket on 02.06.2026 vide original invoice no RJ1262706AD33942 from official website of Indigo airlines for traveling from Jaipur to Jaisalmer vide PNR no W6NC6F , flight no. 6E 7675 in the passenger's name Sulata Dutta. But unfortunately the flight is cancelled from their end unilaterally showing operational reason without providing any alternative direct flight. It is matter of regret that in spite of such cancellation the amount has not been credited to the account from which it was purchased. I contacted Indigo through mail as well as Whatsapp. But they are not responding properly. It appears to me that they are no more trustworthy.

Theft and fraud

Still waiting for my refund on the flight you cancelled. Where is it? Have had lots of different stories from Customer Services.... it is sent to my card, it is sent to booking.com. Which is it? Cannot be both. If sent to booking.com, you need to get it back, because I paid this amount to INDIGO. INDIGO have to refund it,. Nothing to do with Booking.com. The refund is not in my account. Refund it now and stop stealing. I see lots of reviews about the difficulty in getting refunds. This amounts to a pattern and is fraudulent. Warning to anyone considering flying with them, ... check the reviews. They are atrocious to deal with and thieves and liars.

I want to share my first international…

I want to share my first international travel experience with IndiGo, from Nepal to the UK, because I believe other Nepali students and travellers should know about my experience. First, I want to appreciate the IndiGo staff in Nepal. They were kind, supportive and helpful, and I had a good experience with them. Unfortunately, my experience during transit in India was completely different. The immigration process was extremely stressful and emotionally disturbing for me. I was already exhausted from travelling, and instead of feeling supported, I felt extremely uncomfortable, helpless and mentally distressed. I was asked for additional documents and information even though I had already completed the necessary procedures and had the documents required for my international journey. As an international traveller, especially when you are transiting through another country, you may not have a local SIM card, internet connection, or easy access to your contacts. In that situation, unnecessary difficulties can make the experience even more frightening and stressful. I genuinely do not understand why I was treated in this way. I am Nepali, and I cannot help wondering whether my nationality played a role. I do not want to make an accusation without evidence, but the experience made me feel that way. This was my FIRST international journey, and unfortunately, IndiGo became one of the most stressful memories of that journey. I will remember this experience for a very long time. Because of this experience, I personally would NOT recommend IndiGo to my fellow Nepali students and travellers who are planning to travel internationally. I would strongly encourage them to carefully consider their airline and transit arrangements before booking. My message to IndiGo is simple: PLEASE DO NOT TREAT OTHER PASSENGERS THIS WAY. Nepali students travelling to the UK and other countries are already dealing with the stress of starting a new life abroad. They deserve to be treated with dignity, respect and understanding not made to feel helpless or mentally distressed during their journey. I sincerely hope IndiGo takes this complaint seriously, investigates what happened, and makes sure that other passengers do not experience the same situation. I am sharing this not because I want to create conflict, but because I do not want another Nepali student or international traveller to go through what I experienced.
