Lymow is redefining robotic lawn care with professional-grade cutting and all-terrain performance. Dual rotary blades with Cyclone Airflow spin at 6000 RPM for cleaner cuts, while tracked treads conquer slopes up to 45°. Built to handle what others can’t.
Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers are really happy with the robotic mower, noting that it handles steep slopes, complex garden layouts, and tough terrain exceptionally well. Many people also appreciate the helpful support team, who provide quick guidance, replacement parts, and clear instructions when issues arise. Consumers frequently mention that the robust steel blades and solid construction make it a dependable choice for maintaining large yards.
However, some customers also noted that customer service responses can occasionally be very slow, leading to long waiting times. A few other people also felt that the machine encounters occasional technical glitches, such as overheating, charging failures, or navigation challenges.
Great customer service, and solid product.
I backed Lymow on Kickstarter and have enjoyed the freedom given to me by not having to mow my lawn multiple times per week. I have a challenging yard with terrain and hills. I've had another Automower from Husqvarna, (435x AWD) and it did OK, but frequently had problems and would break in one way, shape, or form. When my Lymow One was sent to me, the charging cradle was broken. When I contacted them, they immediately sent me another to get me mowing as quickly as possible. I hadn't had any issue with my mower, but it is important to check your mower and keep it clean every week. This takes very little time, and they make it super easy be having a mode to lift the mower deck and have it point toward you for easy access. They've iterated on their product, listened to feedback, and sent FREE things out to people to help resolve the issues that some people are experiencing. For example, there are brushes that clean the charging contacts when it docks with the charger now.
It was very helpful to have the communications with tech team to help resolve my issue. I had another mower that I purchased several years ago that once I had an issue with the mower I contacted tech support a couple of times, I never heard back from them. Customer service is very important, especially as much as these robot mowers cost. Thank you for keeping me informed and working thru the issue.
I really wanted to like the LYMOW mower because the hardware has a lot of potential. The mower itself is built like a tank. The metal blades are a huge advantage over many competitors, and the overall construction feels solid and durable. When it is mowing, it generally does a good job. The mowing results are good, and it handles my property reasonably well.
Unfortunately, my experience has been overshadowed by constant software and navigation issues.
From the day I received the mower, it has repeatedly lost its position while leaving or returning to the docking station. I've reset it, remapped it, and recalibrated it multiple times, but the same problems keep coming back. It may work once or twice after a reset, but before long I'm dealing with another docking or positioning error.
I use this mower at my Airbnb property, where reliability is essential because I'm not always on-site. Instead of operating autonomously, it often requires me to be physically present. When it gets stuck, I have to connect via Bluetooth and manually return it to the charging station. There is no practical way to recover it remotely, which completely defeats the purpose of owning a robotic mower.
Another issue is that small debris frequently gets caught in the mower. While it usually continues mowing, it shouldn't be happening this often.
Customer support has also been extremely disappointing. The only support option is email, and responses often take one to two weeks. When they do respond, I typically receive a few troubleshooting suggestions instead of an actual solution. The same problems continue without being resolved.
This is what makes the experience so frustrating. The mower itself has real potential, but the software, navigation system, docking reliability, and customer support simply are not ready. A robotic mower should be dependable enough to run on its own. Unfortunately, this one isn't.
I bought this mower expecting a reliable autonomous solution. Instead, I've spent far too much time troubleshooting, manually recovering it, and hoping the next update would fix the issues. Sadly, I will be returning it.
We had some issues with our Lymow mower, and customer service assisted me with the return on the unit. Its nice to see they stand behind their product.
Give detailed information, follow instructions and don’t open multiple tickets
Provide as much and detailed information/pictures/video in the initial email as possible. Make sure logs are uploaded through the app too if relevant.
First response took 3-5 business days, which was informed in the initial automatic reply due to increased tickets, but got same or next day replies after that
Issue was resolved and got a replacement mower. It was shipped out within 7-10 business days with FedEx.
I bought the lymow plus and had issues with the setup and constant errors. However, on certain days it worked flawlessly. Then it lost its ability to turn. They sent a new one, which I just installed and when I sent it out to mow it gave me an E10 blade motor error. I restarted it. Still doesn't work. Who knows, they clearly don't have this figured out yet.
I had read a lot of negative reviews but my personal experience was great.
Usually had a response back from customer service within 24hrs on my questions.
Once problem with my mower was determined I was emailed a shipping ticket and after I shipped back my old mower back I received my new mower in about a week.
My first Lymow One Plus mower had a minor LCD issue which was quickly resolved by their caring customer service team. The mower is well-designed, and was really the only logical choice for my rugged, uneven lawn. Great product, and more importantly - great team standing behind their product!
Ordered the mower, close a month went by without the mower been shipped, bunch a emails got exchanged and eventually I got the refund. Service was friendly, but extremely slow. After seeing more reviews coming out I'm happy that I'm not stuck with this Kickstarter unfunctional mower. I do get feeling it's some kinda pyramid scheme and soon bunch a people will be sitting on dead, unsupported mowers.
My Lymow One Plus robot mower suffered an LCD failure, and Racho from the Lymow Customer Support Team worked diligently to understand the issue and get me a replacement unit quickly.
Won't turn on after 24 hours, NO live support. UPDATE: LYMOW is sending a new mower and a return label to ship mine back. Will keep updated on future communications.
I will update this review as the support process continues, but as of now I would not recommend. My mowers screen went blank and has not turned back on after only 24 hours. The only way to contact support is by email. I described the issue and was directed to take a video and email it to them. No live support for a very complex item. I really want to love this product. I did so much research before buying. The bluetooth connectivity kept losing communication during setup and I had to keep my phone within 4 feet of the mower during the zone setup. I think I might have gotten a bad mower. Time will tell if they stand behind the product or not.
I purchased the Lymow one+ this past spring. The setup and mapping was very easy. The cut looks nice and the navigation is spot on. The only issue i have had was with the cutting motors over heating and leaving uncut strips of grass. This was fixed with the latest software update. This is the first season that I have used the Lymow One+ and it has been great. I have had people drive by and stop to watch it and ask questions. Hopefully it will last for many years.
This has been one of the worst products and customer service experiences I've ever had.
I repeatedly reported that the mower was failing to detect obstacles and requested to return it because I believed it had a serious safety defect. Despite those reports, the problem was not resolved.
The mower later caused damage to my property and injured my dog, leading to veterinary expenses. In my experience, the object detection system did not perform as I expected for an autonomous mower operating around pets and obstacles.
The aftermath has been just as frustrating. Instead of resolving the issue promptly, I spent countless hours documenting damages, communicating with support, and trying to obtain reimbursement for my losses.
An autonomous mower should prioritize safety above everything else. Based on my experience, I lost confidence in this product and would not purchase it again. Until the company demonstrates that these safety concerns have been thoroughly addressed and improves its customer support, I cannot recommend this mower.
My expectations were very high, especially because I couldn't find another supplier willing to take on the challenge of my complex, rough 1/2-hectare garden. The installation went smoothly, but honestly, mapping out my garden with all its obstacles did take some time. It really needs its tracks due to the unevenness of my garden. I also had to make a few adjustments afterwards. The mower has many settings, which means it sometimes behaves differently than you expect. I received answers and tips on how to adjust the settings to all my questions. Those answers usually arrived the next day or a day later. After a few weeks, a bearing broke for inexplicable reasons. After a diagnosis, Lymow simply sent me a new mower! Wow! What service. To this day, I haven't experienced any further problems. It's also nice to know that I placed the charging station in a garden shed (Lymow advises against that), but it drives in and out of there without any issues. It is a fantastic machine that can handle a lot. An example of modern robotics.
The Machine is working perfekt.
Just on big fields it should be separeted in more parts otherwise it will overloaded with cutting directions.
It drives to different places and the rtk antenna is reaching even behind buildings in 500m distance the signal.
