Lymow is redefining robotic lawn care with professional-grade cutting and all-terrain performance. Dual rotary blades with Cyclone Airflow spin at 6000 RPM for cleaner cuts, while tracked treads conquer slopes up to 45°. Built to handle what others can’t.
Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers are really happy with the robotic mower, noting that it handles steep slopes, complex garden layouts, and tough terrain exceptionally well. Many people also appreciate the helpful support team, who provide quick guidance, replacement parts, and clear instructions when issues arise. Consumers frequently mention that the robust steel blades and solid construction make it a dependable choice for maintaining large yards.
However, some customers also noted that customer service responses can occasionally be very slow, leading to long waiting times. A few other people also felt that the machine encounters occasional technical glitches, such as overheating, charging failures, or navigation challenges.
While the first-generation mower had some technical flaws, the Lymow support team handled my warranty claim outstandingly. Kate was incredibly helpful, offered a very fair upgrade solution, and arranged an advanced shipment so my lawn wouldn't suffer. The deposit refund was processed quickly as promised. Top-notch customer service, thank you Kate!
I was having issues with the mower recharging. Lymow customer service worked with me and we were able to get the issues resolved. It took a few weeks, but they stuck with me and we figured out a solution and now everything is working out really well.
I received the Lymow Plus One on the day that I had been told I would, in the excellent communications from the Lymow Team. The machine worked perfectly straight out of the box, It took some careful thought on the choice of position, but once I had decided and followed the instructions correctly and carefully, the Lymow (I have called mine Sherman) has been cutting all of my paddocks and lawns superbly. It has now been here and working very well for over a month. The Facebook support groups have good advice, and you get to hear of the problems and solutions that others have had. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Lymow One Plus to any of my friends or family. Just take the time and effort to set it up correctly.
Great mower, just need to baby sit it. Not the type you set it and leave it. Upgraded my RTK antenna to a 915MHz (USA frequency) and seems to lock in more while mowing. Little worried about reliability, but we will see.
I requested an item on-line that initially could not be shipped to my location. I sent a request by email and "Ally" resolved my issue over a few days period, keeping me updated on her progress. She resolved my issue. I have confidence in this company that they care very much about their customer service.
I experienced significant issues getting replacement parts for broken blade covers from Lymow Customer service support. The wait was endless, as was the volume of emails I had to send; however, thanks to Yuki, the problem was ultimately resolved quickly and with great professionalism. Lymow earns this 5-star review solely because of Yuki. Always ask for Yuki if you need assistance. Thank you, Yuki.
I have enclosed the Lymow email so people can see the problem I encountered dealing with them. My name is Mark not Joe although they do finally get it right. The email asked for the inclusion of a name in the review. In my numerous emails to Lymow I was never given a contact name and this was one of my grievances with the company. When I finally did receive a reply the responses were uncoordinated, relaying differing courses of action to be taken, giving me the impression that I was dealing with numerous people.
My first unit had an incident within three weeks and it took 7 months and an extra $1350.00for the upgraded model.Disappointing outcome considering I was an original Lymow backer.
The following is the email sent from Lymow
Hi Joe,
Great! I’ve closed the ticket for you. If you have any further questions or need assistance in the future, feel free to reach out.Hello Mark,
Your feedback and rating would greatly encourage and motivate our company and me to continue improving and refining our service.
Would you be so kind as to share our customer service with other customers on Trustpilot and mention my name in the comment if you are satisfied?
As you can see no name and I would class this as a prompted review .People should always strive for excellence with or without a review
Lymow One Plus arrived about three weeks ago, and I have to say I am pleased with my purchase.
Initial positions of RTK aerial & charging base were not clear enough to get low number on satellite levels (trees, side of property) and machine performed badly.
Re-sited aerial (to highest point of roof) and base station and now all is working 'almost' perfectly; RTK level generally 0.01-0.02 (apart from during channel transition around side of property).
So RTK positioning is 'key' to getting good performance.
Occasionally does weird things and needs resetting so I always start the mowing (3 separate zones, about 2000 sq m) rather than set up a schedule so I can 'help' if necessary.
The cut and speed of mowing is excellent, much better than robots with 'razor-blade' type blades.
Initial contact from support was slow (about 5 days) but once established conversation was fairly prompt.
Support provided comprehensive suggestions to help my initial issues however the re-siting of aerial & base solved them all.
Would not recommend if there is a lot of 'cover' as satellite connection can deteriorate quickly.
Customer service needs to be improved (after seeing many complaints online about response times), and more software updates to sort out issues that have also been reported (blade motors stopping during run leaving uncut strips in lawn, no-go areas in zones disappearing from maps, map backup process sometimes impossible requiring battery removal and restart).
Company needs to establish UK based maintenance/repair specialists in case of warranty issues.
So, all in all, the Lymow One Plus is almost excellent, just needs some polish.
Very disappointing experience.
The mower never worked as advertised due to LTE/connectivity issues from day one. Support was slow, inconsistent, and required weeks of troubleshooting without providing a solution.
A replacement mower and prepaid return shipping were initially promised, only to be withdrawn later. After nearly a month of back-and-forth, the only resolution was a refund.
The concept is promising, but the product reliability and customer service are far below what I would expect from a premium-priced product. I cannot recommend either the mower or the company.
Nice Mower - Poor, poor, poor service and support.
While the mower cuts pretty well. The RTK and/or software is not yet ready. Support is virtual non-existent. This is a nice little mower, but the issues with zone accuracy is TERRIBLE! I contacted support on June 9 and received an auto-reply advising that I should expect a response within 3-5 business days and asking me to reply with where I purchased the mower. Meanwhile, I decided to keep trying to figure things out. I remapped zones and channels several times and the mower continuously either couldn't find the zone, couldn't reach zone, or goes into No-Go zones, because the map just keeps getting misaligned. On June 12, after having to remap the zones on my 3 acre lot numerous times due to the map moving, I decided I can't keep doing this and it's not worth the headache. I replied to the auto-response again, just asking for a return. I exercised some patience and continued to wait for their response. I sent another response to the auto-reply on June 17 after being past the 3-5 business day response time. Again, I described the additional issues and asked for a return. The 3-5 business days auto-response on morning of June 9 turned into the first actual response on the evening of June 21. They told me the issues a reported are not typical of things they have seen and asked me for the RTK status before and after it starts mowing. I provided this information, additional concerns from that evening, and again asked for a return. No more follow-up until June 24, where I received some canned responses that did not take into consideration the information that had been provided, nor the photos that were provided. Also, she ignored my request for return as if I did not request a return. I replied within an hour of the email on June 24, advising I no longer need support and just desire to return it while it. I am three weeks in, after receiving the product on June 2 and getting it initially setup on June 4. The frustration level is high and support (or lack there of) has changed the frustration into just anger.
The mower has great potential, but the lack of customer support and the terribly slow response times, makes this product a terribly investment. I give 2 stars because the mower is cool and has 4-5 star potential, but their customer service is their company killer. They have yet to acknowledge my request for a return after now 4 requests.
When it works right, it is great. When it doesn't, it is terrible. Full disclosure, I have mature oak trees around the perimeter of my property. Knowing this, I installed the RTK on the roof of a single story home. Map drift terrible in early evening. Drifts from 2cm to 1.5m.
Mowing the front yard (most open sky) really good. Mowing the one side yard just good(less open sky). Mowing the back....bad(least open sky but line of sight to RTK). Map shifts during mowing. Mower repeats passes thinking it is progressing but is not. I have tried 3 times and the mower has not completed the back yard although it thinks it did. All three times the mower could not get back to the dock due to map drift. It doesn't seem to adjust its location, once it is wrong, it stays wrong. I have to remote control it back to charge.
Cut quality-pleased handles well
Discharge-removed flapper, clogs reduced. I still wouldn't recommend wet cuts.
Obstactle detection-Meh at best. Just using the bumper is like a demolition derby. Nothing subtle about it. The smart avoidance is not much better. It still smashes into things. This gets worse with map drift as the mower thinks it is somewhere else.
Handling of terrain-excellent.
If you do not have a completely wide open area, this is not for you as it is primariy GPS based.
I want to love it because it is built well and capable. The navigation ability has a very small margin of error for successful use. No responses from customer service for any advice, tips, updates, etc. Will be trying the Mammotion Luba 3 with Lidar to see if it tracks better. Perhaps future iterations of this will perform more consistent. Lymow is not quite there yet. I don't hate it...but I can't love it. $3000 is a hefty price tag for limited results. Update 7/6/26. Lymow indicated they would send a new RTK in an attempt to resolve the issues, after a week no shipment or tracking. They offered to ship a new mower for a $600 deposit or ship mine back and wait for a new one. I don't believe a consumer should need to spend extra money to address a company's product not performing. There is not an updated model to receive, no indicated improvements to resolve the known hardware & software issues. They didn't mention any production or design improvements in a new mower. Just the hope that a new one happens to do better. That was a $3000 gamble I opted not to take. I finally chose demanding a full refund. I only see headaches going forward to continue down this rabbit hole. Rating now at 2 stars only because the mower does mow like a champ.....when it can mow where it is supposed to mow.
Company not ready for the market in terms of meeting production schedules, customer commitments, or service responses.
Arrived malfunctioning - never turned on, over a month and still no meaningful service support.
Chargeback initiated.
I have a rather complex garden when it comes to mowing the lawn: about 5 000 sq. meters in total, split in 4 areas and a lot of exclusion zones (flower beds, tress, …) in each. To add to this the terrain becomes bumpy in summer due to clay shrinkage. In short, no regular robot would cope with that.
After spending time studying the market I went for the Lymow One Plus, wondering if I was wise to choose a rather newcomer in the market with no distribution/repair network in France.
After 3 months I can say that I am very satisfied with the robot. It is easy to setup and to use, and it does a very good job maintaining my lawn.
More importantly I faced an issue after a few weeks so I contacted the support team. Kate and her colleagues have been extremely responsive and helpful, and they solved my problem very rapidly.
Well done Lymow for a tough but sophisticated robot, and for a stellar customer service.
Second Post.
My SIM card quit working on May 5. It is now June 20th and still no SIM card. Multiple email with 4 to 5 day turn around that simply say their sorry and working on and will update soon. What good is a 3 year warranty if you can’t get any service . If something breaks you might as well throw it in the trash .
Going to start looking at other products , might not be as good but sure the support is better.
Also notice there have been no app updates in weeks
Just another flash in the pan company
I’ve had a few issues with the robots, but customer service has been very responsive, especially considering the volume of tickets they must have. I received two replacement units for my faulty ones so I wish I could say the product was fault free I can’t say that customer service to take care of it quicker than I would’ve expected.
My mower stopped functioning after about 4 weeks of use. In order to get it replaced I had to perform electrical testing on the device to determine it wasn’t working. Thankfully I saved all of the packaging so I was able to mail the unit back. Replacement took a total of 8 weeks and customs support is slow to respond.
With a bit of patience with establishing Zones and No-Go areas and keeping the grass cut regularly, the LyMow has worked well for me. I found it a bit hard to define Zones initial as you have to drive the mower using on screen joysticks as the left/right control is crisp and you tend to over steer. There is a Zone-Edit mode that allow you to clean up the perimeters and that helped a lot. One other note is that you need to not put sharp tight turns in the Zone edges and the mower has a pre-programmed pattern for doing a 180 degree turn and in a tight space, this turn pattern can get the mower in trouble and potentially it may run over things you wanted it to avoid. The spart avoidance mode does well navigating around trees and other tall obstructions, but may not work with small trees, this is where you define No-Go Zones to help it understand what to work around.
So the initially worked quite well it had a few hiccups including sometimes having issues upgrading the software but that was more annoying than debilitating. It took forever to get replacement blades that we paid for but we had purchased accidental damage insurance on it the device did get damaged we’ve been trying with Support to get that honor they said they’ll honor it but we need to send the mower back to them first. We didn’t keep the original box but even if we did the mower deck is stuck in an up position there’s no way to get it back down without forcing it which I assume might actually break the mechanism we were told just to ship it back like that. But it’s hard to find anything to ship it in. I don’t have a problem shipping it back but they won’t ship a new one until you ship this one back of the insurance that we’ve paid for. So it’s been two weeks without a mower our grass is getting very high and I’m probably gonna have to pay someone to come do it now. The only Support that’s available was via email it takes four or five days to get initial response and then anytime that you need to ask a follow up question or also they offer to go ahead and send the replacement before we sent the old one back if we put a $500 deposit down which I was happy doing but I’ve asked him is there a payment link or how do I get you this 500 so you can send me the new mower immediately? It’s been five days there’s no response. The customer service is absolutely horrible. You would probably get better support on a $50 toaster I think they need to understand that this is a major purchase and without having reliable support that even though you have what seems to be a very good product you’re just gonna end up losing customers.
It is essentially a beta product sold to the public, but without being informed that it is. The hardware and software need considerably more research and development before this will be a quality product worthy of its steep cost. Currently it is not a good value, but could be in the future. I would have waited for the next generation of if I knew what I know now after 3 months. First one is being replaced under warranty but i haven’t received it yet.
I regret buying this machine. The unit constantly stops charging and even worse, the motors frequently shut off while mowing. The design is poor that the motors are not property ventilated. In my area, it is not uncommon to be in the 90s or 100s during the summer months. With the sun beating down on the dark color of the unit, it gets even hotter for the mower blades. I found myself mowing at night, which is also problematic because the blades clog up. My Luba 3 can mow on the hottest days without issue. I bought this unit due to it's real blade design. When it cuts, it cuts great. However, I find myself using my Luba 3 (which doesn't cut as well) and using the Lymow at night to do cleanup once per week. Having it run every other day like I did in the spring (a time where it ran fine because the outdoor temps were cooler) is not possible in the summer. I would not recommend this to anyone living in my area. In some place cooler, possibly.
