When I called to make the reservation I was told that I couldn’t make the payment for my reservation at the hotel it had to be made over the phone. When I got to the hotel the male that helped me said that they would need a card put on file just in case of any damage was made and to make sure the names match. I understand that cause it’s policy. But the part I don’t understand is that I was told I wouldn’t be getting charged anything because I already did the “pre-paid” option. I check my bank statements in the morning and it shows two payments made for La Quinta Inn. When I went to check out I asked the Female upfront about me getting charged twice. She said I chose pay at the hotel but that option wasn’t available when I was speaking to the representative Joros. The lady upfront also informed me that I wasn’t supposed to get charged anything while making a reservation.
