Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. People frequently complained that the devices stopped working properly after only a few months of use, often suffering from unexpected connectivity failures or leaking water during operation. Consumers also noted that the customer support team was unhelpful, unresponsive, and made the warranty repair process extremely difficult and frustrating. Some reviewers were happy with the helpful customer service, noting that staff members were quick and professional when handling warranty replacements. These buyers mentioned that the vacuums were easy to manage, reliable, and left floors looking fantastic with no sign of dust.

Buyer beware. Avoid this company like the plague.

Buyer beware! Roborock will get your with constant part replacements. Their warranty in the US is only for one year. The product will fail and they will firmly stand by this warranty period. Additionally, they don’t even carry some parts for their own product that is a year and a half old. There are cheaper products in the market with far better customer service. Avoid this company like the plague!

Roborock has been a robo headache since…

Roborock has been a robo headache since day one. The machine isn’t a smart one and it doesn’t learn as it goes. It’s useless around edges and is afraid of soft drooping curtains but will plow its way loudly over chair legs? It’s the worst at maneuvering around objects and obstacles as it so claims. The customer service doesn’t exist. Worst than my cheap Wal-Mart robot but too bad he finally died.

Saros 20: A very expensive way to prepare the floor for my Dysones…

I bought the Roborock Saros 20 expecting a premium robot vacuum, but instead, I seem to have purchased a very expensive robotic assistant that gently prepares my floors for my actual vacuum cleaner. The Saros 20 has a very interesting approach to cleaning. When transitioning from hard wooden floors to carpets, it suddenly develops a severe fear of suction. The moment it lifts itself onto the carpet, it completely loses its supposedly high suction power. Furthermore, it apparently believes the edges of the carpet are a strict no-go zone, completely failing to make a pass to pick up the debris there. I sent the robot in for inspection, assuming something was broken. Nope! According to Roborock, it is "functioning correctly." Their helpdesk even tried to "help" by suggesting some specific manual settings I could tweak. Call me crazy, but when I pay premium money for a high-end robot vacuum, I kind of expect it to vacuum by default. Basic functions like maintaining suction and cleaning along edges shouldn't require special workarounds. I have photographic evidence that I sadly can't upload here, but let me paint you a picture: After the Saros completed a full cleaning of my 50 m² apartment, I took out my regular Dyson and went over the entire floor again (both the wood and the carpet). The massive amount of dirt, dust, and debris left behind by the Roborock was honestly impressive. If you truly love the physical act of vacuuming yourself, but feel like your floors need a light, robotic massage first, the Saros 20 is definitely for you. If you actually want clean floors, save your money.

Broken, lost, and won’t refund!!!!

The Roborock Q10 PF vacuum I purchased that was less than 6 months old stopped working. After multiple days of interaction with customer service having me try to repair it without success they had me ship it to Texas for repairs. 2 weeks after that they said they had repaired it and were sending it back via UPS who apparently lost it. It has now been another 3 weeks since package was verified lost by UPS and still Roborock won’t refund me my money for a new replacement vacuum. ( not that I will ever purchase a Roborock again!!!!). I have now been without a working vacuum that was under full warranty for almost 7 weeks!! Company still won’t refund my money for lost and broken vacuum. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Extremely disappointing first…

Extremely disappointing first experience with Roborock. I ordered a premium vacuum directly from Roborock, paid in full immediately, and was told to expect delivery within a few days. Instead, my order has been stuck in transit for over 15 days with no meaningful updates. The biggest issue wasn't even the shipping delay but it was the customer service. Every email I received was a generic template saying they were "following up with the carrier." No one could explain why the shipment was delayed, provide an estimated delivery date, or offer a real solution. Even after multiple emails, I was never given any concrete information. I purchased this vacuum specifically for an event at my home, but because of the delay I couldn't use it. After waiting more than two weeks, I finally requested that my order be canceled and fully refunded because I had completely lost confidence that it would arrive. And then they wouldn't cooperate on that too. To make matters worse, after all this waiting, Roborock offered only a $20 refund if I continued waiting. For a product costing over a thousand dollars, that felt completely inadequate. Shipping delays can happen, but how a company communicates during those delays is what defines good customer service. Roborock failed in that regard. As a first-time customer, this experience has been extremely frustrating, and I cannot recommend doing business with this company.

Expensive Robot roborock Qrevo S Unrepairable After Only 16 Months

I purchased a Roborock robot vacuum/mop for over $550 expecting a premium product with long-term reliability and support. After only about 16 months, the vacuum stopped working. As a contractor with experience troubleshooting electronic equipment, I determined the control board had failed. Roborock required me to send the unit to their service center for evaluation. After inspection, they confirmed exactly what I had already diagnosed—the control board was defective. The shocking part was their solution! I was informed that the vacuum could not be repaired because Roborock does not have replacement control boards available. In other words, a machine costing more than $550 became electronic waste barely over a year after purchase because the manufacturer does not support it with replacement parts. Their compensation offer was a discount of only $20–$30 toward the purchase of another Roborock vacuum. Think about that for a moment. A premium-priced vacuum fails after 16 months, cannot be repaired due to unavailable parts, and the company offers a discount that wouldn't even cover a small accessory purchase. My issue is not that a component failed. Electronics fail. My issue is that Roborock confirmed the failed part, could not provide a replacement, declared the machine unrepairable, and then offered what I consider a token discount as a solution. This experience has left me with serious concerns about Roborock's long-term support and repairability. Before purchasing a Roborock product, I would encourage buyers to consider what happens after the warranty expires and whether replacement parts are available for major components. Based on my experience, I will not purchase another Roborock product.

When we first got our Roborock I…

When we first got our Roborock I thought it was absolutely amazing. But we’ve had nothing but issues. The LiDar broke twice in under 2 years and warranty only being 1 year I had to pay out of pocket. When I emailed them saying this is not okay they didn’t care because warranty expired. Second, hair would wrap in the brush constantly and cause issues and third, you can’t clean the water holding tanks so the dirty tank got RANCID.

Saros 10R Broken after 4 months

We ordered model Saros 10R. The vacuum cleaner was working fine as expected for the first 3 months. Then, its performance dropped down leaving so many dirts on the floor. The side arm that is for cleaning the corner completely stopped working. The suction power got weak. The mopping is the worst part specially dont recommend if you have marbel floor. It leaves many water marks and also some scratches. Now, I am going to send it for repair but in general it was a very disappointing experience considering the high price and all the inconvinence.

Poor quality product and non-existent customer service

Avoid this company and their poor quality products. LiDAR tower (key component on the robot vacuum) stopped working in the first six months. Customer service is email only and couldn’t be more unhelpful if they tried. I’m supposed to empty the water tank inside the robot to send it back for inspection. In case you missed it, the robot isn’t working. At all. But they won’t take responsibility if I return it and it’s water damaged (due to the very water tank they sealed inside the unit). Clever, huh? So now I’m left with a very expensive and very useless piece of plastic. Go with a trusted UK brand where you can at least have a conversation with a human being. Disgusting company.

Someone else's house was mapped in my 'new' vacuum cleaner

Wish I could give zero stars. Bought 'brand new' Qrevo Edge Pro from a normal retailer in Australia (Harvey Norman) - and shocked to find that before I ever used it there was a map from another house already in the app (i.e. seemingly the product had been used). Harvey Norman and Roborock both useless. Roborock telephone service indicated that they also wouldn't feel good about that and I should return the item. Well, good luck to me with that. I then had to engage with Roborock email customer service. Took ages to get a reply. And then ages to get an answer. And the answer was wholly unsatisfactory. Allegedly all normal, it was me mapping my own house...despite the map being there before the device was ever turned on (and not looking at all like my house). Now 5 months in, device is sitting there taking up space because I refuse to use it and am awaiting a more satisfactory solution from Roborock. Looking at this reviews, I fear I will be waiting a long time. Buyer BEWARE!

$1,600 robot became unusable after 2.5 years

I purchased a Roborock S8 Pro Ultra for about $1,600. After the warranty expired, recurring mopping and vacuuming problems began. The robot was sent for repair 7–8 times, with each repair taking over a month. The day after one repair, I reported that the same problem had already returned. Eventually, the robot was returned unrepaired because spare parts were unavailable. After only 2.5 years, I am left with a $1,600 robot that cannot be used.

POOR PRODUCT, STOPPED WORKING / NEVIGATING IN FOUR MONTHS

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience deserves to be highlighted. I purchased this robot vacuum with high expectations, only to have it completely stop working in just four months. The vacuum performed reasonably well in the beginning, but the decline was rapid. Just in few months it is struggled to navigate and does not do anything. What’s even more frustrating is the lack of meaningful support in the UK! A household appliance shouldn’t become a disposable item after a few months of light use. I strongly advise potential buyers to think twice before investing in this model. A robot vacuum should make life easier, not add another problem to your list. This one has been a complete let‑down.

Very disappointing experience with Roborock

Very disappointing experience with Roborock, both in terms of product quality and customer service. After an initial issue, my robot vacuum was sent for repair and underwent a major intervention with multiple internal components replaced. However, once returned, the device came back with a new defect (constant Wi-Fi disconnections), making it essentially unusable. For over three weeks now: - I have followed all requested troubleshooting steps; - the product has already been repaired once; - the issue remains unresolved. Instead of providing a definitive solution, customer support keeps asking for additional tests on my side (network checks, hotspot tests, etc.) and attempts to attribute the problem to my home environment. As a “solution”, I was offered a refurbished replacement, which I consider unacceptable given that I originally purchased a new product and the repair has clearly failed. To date, no proper resolution (new replacement or refund) has been provided. Very frustrating experience and highly disappointing after-sales support. I would strongly recommend carefully considering this aspect before purchasing.
