Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. People frequently complained that the devices stopped working properly after only a few months of use, often suffering from unexpected connectivity failures or leaking water during operation. Consumers also noted that the customer support team was unhelpful, unresponsive, and made the warranty repair process extremely difficult and frustrating. Some reviewers were happy with the helpful customer service, noting that staff members were quick and professional when handling warranty replacements. These buyers mentioned that the vacuums were easy to manage, reliable, and left floors looking fantastic with no sign of dust.

I bought roborock saros10R from Singapore a year ago (with 2 years warranty) then I relocated to Malaysia in Q1 this year. I had some minor problems so I got in touch with roborock Msia and they agreed to service it for me for a fee. I agreed and long story short, my robot and the docking station had gone back and forth 3 times now for more than 3 months. At first I was impressed with their dedication/commitment but each time the robot came back with a new problem. (My first problem was dry mop on one side, second time was that the mop couldnt detect carpets and kept mopping and now the latest problem is it keeps telling me to wipe clean front and back sensors (error 31) even though it’s clean and maintenance had been reset to 100% - I think the front panel might have been damaged during shipment). But it seems to me roborock Msia is washing their hands already and tells me there’s no problem with my unit and asked me to delete my map and re map. It keeps repeating “error 31”. Anyway when I purchased it I was hoping it would prove me wrong about Chinese products.Ii guess I’m right after all.
I experienced some difficulties with my robot, and the Roborock support team helped me through the entire process. They provided clear options and guidance, and the issue was fully resolved thanks to their support. If you purchase a Roborock product, you will either receive a perfect device or, if any issues arise, the team will ensure a seamless experience. I am very satisfied with Roborock.
Frustrating experience with recurring faults and disjointed service I am highly disappointed with Roborock's response to a recurring fault. My vacuum had a broken LiDAR component repaired under warranty. Exactly 10 months later, the identical LiDAR fault occurred again. Having paid $1,800 for this vacuum, I expected a premium experience and a much more durable product. Because the manufacturer warranty has expired, Roborock customer support completely distances themselves from the issue. They pass the buck entirely to their third-party authorised service centre, creating a deeply frustrating, expensive, and disjointed process. The service centre fees quickly compound: it costs $52.50 to send it, $111 just to get it assessed, and $250 for the repair itself. On top of that, you have to pay shipping a second time just to get the vacuum returned to you. Worse still, there is a serious lack of competence from Roborock's customer support team. The robot explicitly flagged a LiDAR error. Despite this, customer support tried to tell me it was a completely different issue. If I had not challenged them, they would have mistakenly forced me to buy an omnidirectional wheel. It was only when it reached the actual service centre that they confirmed the LiDAR was broken all along. To avoid responsibility, support hid behind vague claims that component lifespan varies based on usage. This is pure hypocrisy. If they genuinely believed that, they would have checked the smart robot's logged task history in the app, which proves it only handles light, twice-a-week domestic cleaning. Under Australian Consumer Law, a premium $1,800 appliance and its components must last longer than 10 months. Hiding behind a scarcely expired warranty while passing customers off to a service centre with these exorbitant fees for a repeat repair is completely unacceptable.
I purchased my Roborock Q Revo in May 2024 for approximately $1,000. Less than two years later, it has become an expensive paperweight. When I attempted to start the vacuum through the app, I received a “LiDAR Failure” error stating that the LiDAR was jammed. I followed Roborock’s online troubleshooting instructions, but nothing resolved the problem. The LiDAR moves freely and does not appear to be physically jammed, yet the error remains and the machine is unusable. I contacted Roborock support and was simply told that there was nothing they could do because the machine was outside the warranty period. For a premium product at this price, I expected it to last much longer—and I expected the company to offer some type of repair option or meaningful assistance. The support experience was also extremely frustrating. Responses often took more than eight hours, and representatives repeatedly requested information I had already provided. A $1,000 appliance should not become unusable in under two years with no reasonable support or repair solution. Based on both the product’s reliability and Roborock’s response, I will not purchase from or recommend this company again.
I purchased a Roborock and paid over $1100.00. For the first 4 months, it worked pretty well. Then I was noticing it wasn't picking up half of what was on the floor. So, I did some troubleshooting with no luck. Contacted customer service and my nightmare began. They requested I send them pictures of the unit. Then more pictures of the rollers, then the bottom of the unit, then the filter, then of the serial number. Then they wanted me to prove that I bought it and paid for it. I explained I bought it directly from them. I still had to send them a copy of my credit card statement. Then they wanted a video of the unit with crumbs on the floor. I ended up having to send them 3 videos. Finally, after 3 weeks of going back and forth with customer service, they asked me to send it back with the water tank and in the original box if I had it. I sent the entire unit back. About 3 weeks, they sent back the round robot part only. No charging station, no water tanks and no box. What I have had to go through to just get my unit fixed and I still cannot use it. This is absolutely crazy. The unit was only 6 months old. Instead of sending me a new unit, they sent me a refurbished unit without the other pieces I sent them. Roborock sucks.
Extremely disappointing customer service I purchased a Roborock robot vacuum expecting a premium product and premium support. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite. The robot developed Error 52 in March and has been sent to Roborock’s authorized repair center twice. After the first repair, the original problem remained and a new issue (Error 4) appeared. After the second repair, both errors were still present, and the robot had become even worse—it now drives around in circles and cannot complete a cleaning cycle. I have now been without a functioning robot vacuum for five months. The most frustrating part has been the customer service. I repeatedly received generic, copy-and-paste responses asking me to perform basic troubleshooting, despite the unit already having been repaired twice. They even claimed the device had only undergone one repair, although I have documentation proving two completed repair attempts. For a product in this price range, this level of after-sales support is simply unacceptable. I expected Roborock to stand behind their product and offer a replacement after repeated failed repair attempts, but instead I have spent months without a working device. I sincerely hope Roborock improves both its repair process and customer service, because my experience has been extremely disappointing.
I bought a Roborock Qrev 2 flow and initially it worked well. At the 2 month stage, it just died. No white light on dock. No power in robot. I contacted Harvey Norman and they directed me to Roborock support, who screwed me around to no end. I just want a new unit given its 2 month old, but they insist the unit is shipped 2500klm to Brisbane for investigation at my risk. They are manipulative bastards. Dont trust them. Dont buy a roborock. They wont accept me taking back to place of purchase. Dont buy a roborock. The customer support is non existent.
I recently purchased a new Qrevo Edge S5A vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaners was missing parts and didn't work. Roborock agreed to provide a "new" vacuum cleaner as a replacement. Instead, it provided a refurbished/used vacuum cleaner. Obviously, that's not what I purchased. Now, Roborock is REFUSING to provide a new vacuum cleaner and also refused to discuss the matter by phone. BEWARE
I placed an order directly thru Roborock for cleaner. It arrived yesterday damaged in box by fed-x. We immediately contacted customer service and have had nothing but issues with communication and responses. They notified us that we need to return damaged merchandise and package before they will even ship out my new cleaner. So explain to me why I paid over $500 for a machine I can’t use and now you, Roborock want to delay getting me a new box. Come on do better. This is crappy service and communication… your company needs to get there crap together. You better hope I get new one sooner than later! I have no problem reporting you to the BBB.
Honestly... They'll remotely brick your device after half a year in the hopes you buy another one. They also scrape your phone for all of its data, just read the permissions it can access that it ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT NEED. Screw them.
The vacuum itself is excellent, and I’m happy with its cleaning performance. My only real complaint is the lack of replacement maintenance parts. Consumables like washable filters, brushes, and other wear items are frequently out of stock, which makes routine maintenance frustrating. No robot vacuum performs well without regular upkeep, and that’s understandable. What’s not understandable is selling a premium product without consistently stocking the parts needed to keep it running. Great vacuum, but poor long-term support has been disappointing.
I bought a Roborock vacuum, downloaded the app and it won’t bind. So both the iPhone app, and Roborock vacuum connect to WiFi but there app won’t connect to the vacuum. Messaged them, emailed them no reply
terrible customer service. On 07/19/26 mooning I called their number and was put on hold listening to the music for one hour but still couldn't get anybody. I had to give up.
Their customer service team sent my recently repaired robot vacuum to my old address despite me attaching return address inside and outside package. They refused to be held liable for it.
Within 3 months of use it stopped connecting to wifi. I can press the button on the machine and it'll clean the whole flat but I can't get it to bind to wifi. "Check wifi name and password and try again." I've done that multiple times. Looked at the troubleshooting pages everywhere, including You tube. Switched it off at the wall and on again 30 minutes later. Wiped all info from the app, deleted it, waited a day, started again. Altered my wifi settings. And so on and so on. Not a hope in hell of ever getting this thing to work. It vacuums and mops well enough, but I can't send it to a particular room, can't programme it to start at a particular time, or do anything other than start when I press the go button. That's a lot of money for the most basic vaccum mop.
I purchased the upright Roborock which was excellent for a few months then it began to leak. The leak appears to be at the front seam of the thin plastic water reservoir. I contacted support which eventually sent me another one. 6 months later the replacement leaked everytime we used it so I had to basically mop behind its use. They first told me I would receive another reservoir but later after not receiving anything stated to mail my vacuum to a repair center. After it sat in the corner I noticed the light was off & it will no longer come on. Support refuses to respond to further contact & emails. Never again for me!!!
Bought a Saros 10 robot vacuum from these guys in the black Friday sales November 2025. By April 2026 the machine developed a fault and I sent it back for repair. I was told it was repaired and would be returned to me. DPD only attempted delivery once when I wasn't home and sent the item back to Roborock. 6 weeks later they confirmed they had it and would send out again. This time DPD informed me that they had damaged my item so badly they could not deliver it. Roborock acknowledged that this was the case and are now refusing to replace this item with a new one or refund me. Absolute poor performance and anyone should avoid dealing with this company.
I have only had mine about 3 weeks, but so far I love it! I had some issues due to my ignorance, and I called the company 855-960-4321. The agent patiently walked me through steps, asked pertinent questions, and had me upload a video to find the problem. I have called them twice now, and they have been extremely helpful, courteous, and patient each time. I love that the machine is easy to use and is self-cleaning. So far, so good. I purchased mine from Amazon.
We had an issue with our Roborock and reached out to customer service. They were quick, professional, helpful, and replaced our Roborock as it was still under warranty. Grateful for their help and have really enjoyed our vacuum!
