Bought machine to multicolor print….haha

Bought this machine to print multi color TPU - first Pla benchy worked fine, second print ( small TPU duel Color ) failed, third print failed, fourth print failed! I have over 10,000hrs printing TPU on different machines so I know TPU settings ! Even failed with PETG….Wish when you bought something it worked as advertised….

Dear Nicolas, Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re sorry to hear that your early printing experience did not meet expectations. We understand your frustration—especially when your initial PLA print completed successfully but subsequent TPU and PETG prints encountered repeated failures. We also recognize from your feedback that you have extensive TPU printing experience, and we appreciate you taking the time to test different scenarios before reaching out. Our support team has already followed up with recommendations specifically focused on TPU multi-color printing and nozzle clog recovery, including adjustments to retraction behavior, volumetric flow, and toolhead tuning. These suggestions are intended to optimize performance for flexible materials under multi-toolhead conditions rather than general TPU setup guidance. At the same time, we agree with your expectation that the experience should feel reliable and closer to out-of-box readiness. We’re continuing to work with you to determine whether this is related to profile tuning, material behavior, or a hardware-related issue. If the issue cannot be resolved through troubleshooting, our team will continue supporting you with the next available solution under our support policy. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to improve, and we appreciate your candid feedback. Best regards, The Snapmaker Team

you really need to fix the glitchy software i have to keep closing the program and opening it multiple times for it to work

Dear Cornelius, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your software experience has been frustrating. We understand how inconvenient it is to repeatedly close and reopen the program just to continue working, especially when you expect the workflow to be smooth and reliable. Please submit a troubleshooting request here: https://snapmaker.formcrafts.com/u1-troubleshooting-request Our technical support team will review the information and work with you to identify the cause and provide the appropriate solution. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience—feedback like yours helps us continue improving the software experience. Best regards, The Snapmaker Team

I am a Veteran 3-D print owner.

I am a Veteran 3-D print owner. The u1 was released permanently. The operating firmware is very Glitchy.... The tool heads get lost mid-print.... Can't hang themselves correctly and aquire the next color (hotend) without throwing an error codes.... Can't leave the printer alone for any length of time and expect the print to complete.... If I am using the app, I can't stay logged in on my laptop. The Orca slicer doesn't stay logged in. With Bambu, I can browse for new projects and navigate the slicer at the same time. The model catalog is lacking variety. If I could return the printer, I certainly would.... The print quality is beautiful, if it finishes.... I am not happy with my purchase. I wished I had wai

Dear Daniel, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that your experience has not met expectations. We understand your frustration—especially as an experienced 3D printing user who expects a machine to run reliably without constant supervision. While we’re glad to hear you’re satisfied with the print quality when jobs complete successfully, issues such as toolhead switching interruptions, unexpected error codes, login instability between devices, and workflow limitations can understandably impact the overall experience. Our technical support team would like to investigate the toolhead behavior, firmware performance, and account synchronization issues in more detail, as these symptoms may vary depending on firmware version, print files, logs, and machine status. Please submit a support ticket here: https://snapmaker.formcrafts.com/u1-troubleshooting-request Our technical support team will work with you directly to diagnose the issue and provide the appropriate solution as quickly as possible. We also appreciate your comments regarding the model catalog and software experience. Feedback like this has been shared internally and helps guide future improvements. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to improve your experience. Best regards, The Snapmaker Team

Bad first impression

I was going to wait a few days, knowing there would be holiday discounts . But then I saw the 30 day price drop guarantee. I placed my order , and before the order even arrived, the price dropped from 899 to 769 .all they are offering me is 5 dollars back . I even sent the screenshots showing the new price .

Dear Harry, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry that your first experience with Snapmaker created frustration instead of excitement. We understand how disappointing it feels to place an order and then see a new promotion appear before the product even arrives. After reviewing your case, our team confirmed that the price guarantee applies to the difference between the price paid and the current listed product price, which resulted in a refund for your order. At the same time, after further communication, we also confirmed that you are eligible for the anniversary benefits for returning customers and arranged both the $30 gift card and the $50 coupon for your account. We additionally clarified the filament promotion and provided the correct coupon code for redemption. We appreciate you raising your concerns and giving us the opportunity to review the details more carefully. Feedback like yours helps us improve how promotional information and eligibility are communicated to avoid misunderstandings in the future. We hope your U1 arrives soon and that you’ll enjoy experimenting with multi-color printing and trying out new filament combinations. Best regards, The Snapmaker Team

Connection..

I would've like to see a Ethernet port for a wired connection.

Snapmaker 回复2026-06-16

Dear Russell, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry for the frustrating first experience. We understand how disappointing it is when a new printer cannot connect as expected—especially when you expect wireless setup to work out of the box. After reviewing your support case and the photo you provided, our team identified that the continuously loading QR code and network status may be related to a temporary server-side connectivity issue rather than requiring a wired connection. Our development team has already implemented a temporary fix and is continuing to monitor and improve system stability. Our support team has followed up with you and will continue working with you directly until the connection issue is resolved. We appreciate you taking the time to provide screenshots and test the suggested steps. If the issue still persists, please continue replying within your support ticket so our technical team can investigate further based on your machine status and network environment. Thank you for your patience and for giving us the opportunity to improve your experience. Best regards, The Snapmaker Team

Dear Mark, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience when encountering an issue has felt slow and frustrating. We understand that when something goes wrong with a product, timely support is just as important as the product itself. Our technical support team continuously works to respond and resolve cases as quickly as possible, but we also recognize that some issues may require additional investigation time depending on the complexity of the situation. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Feedback like yours helps us identify where we need to improve our response speed and overall support experience. If you are currently facing an issue, we encourage you to reach out directly so our team can assist you as quickly as possible: https://snapmaker.formcrafts.com/u1-troubleshooting-request We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we are committed to improving your support experience going forward. I knew it was going to take a week to…

I knew it was going to take a week to get my printer. The day I was supposed to get it. The delivery company, told me there was a problem shipping it to me and they couldn't tell me why. I know shipping problems happen, but at that moment I didn't care and I wanted to know where my printer was located.

Hi Thomas, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We completely understand how frustrating it can be when a shipment encounters an unexpected delivery exception, especially on the day it is scheduled to arrive. While carrier-related issues are sometimes beyond our direct control, we recognize that not knowing where your package is or why the delivery was delayed can be very concerning. As soon as we received your inquiry, our team contacted the carrier to investigate the issue and closely monitored the shipment status. We were glad to see the carrier update the tracking information and reschedule the delivery shortly afterward. We appreciate your patience and understanding throughout the process. Your feedback also highlights the importance of providing clearer and faster updates during shipping exceptions, and we will continue working with our logistics partners to improve the customer experience. Thank you again for your support, and we hope you enjoy your Snapmaker U1. Best regards, The Snapmaker Team

Faulty printer, terrible customer service.

Not only did they send me a faulty, terrible QC printer, but it has been almost 3 weeks since I emailed them the issue and STILL DO NOT HAVE A PRINTER! And now theyre telling me itll be even longer. And by the way, this wasnt like an issue "oh it was damaged during shipping", this is just terrible build quality and QC. This is unacceptable and ridiculous. Its like the customer service doesnt even care that they have our money already. So upset with snapmaker, will never buy anything snapmaker again, and will be very, VERY persistent on telling all of my friends and coworkers to avoid this company. Wild. I have owned dozens of 3d printers, and even own 4 Qidi printers, and have never experienced anything like this.

Hi Niko, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and disappointment this experience has caused. We fully understand your concerns. Receiving a printer that experienced issues right out of the box is not the experience we want for any customer. We also recognize that the replacement process has taken longer than expected, and we understand how frustrating it is to wait for a working machine after your purchase. After reviewing your case, our support team approved a complete machine replacement and arranged the return process accordingly. Your replacement unit has already been registered for shipment from our US warehouse, and we have requested expedited processing to help minimize any further delay. We understand that the overall timeline has fallen short of your expectations, and for that we sincerely apologize. Your feedback regarding both product quality and service responsiveness has been shared internally with our quality control and customer support teams for review and improvement. We appreciate the time and effort you invested in troubleshooting, repackaging, and returning the machine. Our team will continue to follow up on your replacement shipment and assist with your 30-day Price Protection request as well. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make this right. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

The printer itself is great

The printer itself is great. The snaporca slicer is absolute trash, constantly crashes even on simple commands like clone. If you clone more than 2 or 3, Expect to start over. If you want to do two different sizes… expect to start over. If you want to breathe while slicing the plate… expect to start over.

Overall

Overall, everything is great except for the following things: * The promo codes work strangely and do not apply to the bulk sale. * The filaments are packed very well, maybe even a bit strangely: first in a large box, then each small box is wrapped in plastic, and after this small box then another layer of plastic. But that is probably more of a plus. * The filament quality is excellent, although I have not tried everything yet. If it were not for the strange region lock on the website — if you choose the wrong region at first, the cart gets reset — and the slightly unintuitive interface, I could probably give it 5 stars. For now, an honest 4 stars.

Running U1 head to head with P2S and the U1 is winning

I am running the U1 head to head with the P2S. If it were not for the public domain software violations of Bambu and trying to put things behind closed code, they would win on performance, but stongly leaning on a platform that is trying, maintain the open source platform. It is why my 2nd printer was SnapMaker. Also have a FlasFiorge AD5x, but having big issues with that one.

Honest opinion.....

Overall, the printer works and prints great, but I can't send prints online or watch the camera stream on my phone when it's bound over Wi-Fi. The only way to send prints without walking all the way downstairs is through a LAN connection, but that cuts off the video feed in the app. I got three solid prints through Wi-Fi right out of the box, but it just went sideways from there. The slicer is buggy as well; it crashes sometimes and is unable to slice complicated models, whereas my Bambu slicer doesn't break a sweat with those same projects. In comparison, my P2S has been almost flawless with over 1,100 printing hours.
