Shipping took too long

Shipping took too long. Fedex did not deliver on weekend or holiday because the shipping selection was not set to Home. Please offer more than one shipping option, even it costs.

Snapmaker 回复2026-06-01

Hi Paul, Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that the shipping time did not meet your expectations. We understand how important fast and reliable delivery is. Your suggestion to offer more shipping options is very valuable. We will pass this feedback to our logistics team for review, as providing more flexible delivery choices is something we are actively looking to improve. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we’re committed to making future deliveries smoother and more transparent. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

I'm very satisfied with your service

I'm very satisfied with your service. The website is well-designed and pleasing to the eye, delivery times are relatively short, and your filaments/printers (Snapmaker U1) are of excellent quality. Furthermore, the connectivity you've created with the Snapmaker U1 via the smartphone app and the Snapmaker Orca slicer software is excellent and very convenient. One note for the future is to adjust the lead time estimates for items that are still in development, such as the U1's top cover and the carbon fiber textured build plate, and display them directly on your website at the time of purchase.

Head USB-C socket came out during the assembly

After the assembly, the printer showed error communicating with head one, I tried to reconnect the cables and the USB-C socket came out with the cable. Opened support ticket to get the component replaced.

Snapmaker 回复2026-05-28

Hi Paul, Thank you for sharing your feedback and for the detailed description of the issue. We are sorry to hear about your experience with the USB-C socket coming loose during assembly, which resulted in the “error communicating with Head 1” message. We understand how disruptive this is, especially for a machine used in a production environment. Based on your support case, a replacement Hub board has already been arranged to resolve the issue. Once the shipment is processed, we will share the tracking information with you as soon as it becomes available. To avoid any further damage, please do not attempt to reconnect the affected connector. The replacement process does not require soldering. You can follow the step-by-step guide here once you receive the part: https://wiki.snapmaker.com/en/snapmaker_u1/troubleshooting/hub_board_replacement_guide If you need any assistance during installation, our support team will be happy to help. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

Sorry to say

Sorry to say, this time around Snapmaker did not perform to the quality I had when purchasing my machine. I have an older model and three and one machine and purchased a dual extractor. received the dual extraction module in a timely manner, but I received only the moduleno screws in no way to attach to the machine as well as the filament holder was not included nor was a manual contacted Snap maker and received after a week of explaining the problem to Customer Service they sent out the required parts two weeks later once receiving the parts,The module would not level.

Snapmaker 回复2026-05-28

Hi Shawanda, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback, and we are truly sorry to hear about the experience you had with your dual extrusion module. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the missing accessories in your initial shipment, as well as the delay in receiving the necessary parts and documentation. This is not the experience we aim to deliver, and we fully understand how frustrating it must have been to wait and then still encounter setup and leveling issues afterward. From your description, the module repeatedly failing during bed leveling and colliding with the print bed indicates that there may be an installation or compatibility-related issue that needs closer inspection. We would like to make sure this is properly resolved for you. At this point, our support team will continue working with you to review the logs and materials you shared in detail, so we can accurately identify the root cause and provide a proper solution or next steps, whether that involves technical correction or alternative resolution options. We also acknowledge your concerns regarding missing components and documentation in the initial delivery. This feedback has been shared with our product and fulfillment teams for immediate internal review to prevent similar issues in the future. We truly value your long-term support as a Snapmaker user, and we are sorry that this experience did not meet the standard you expected from us. We remain committed to helping you reach a working solution. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

The P tubes are too big and allow 2…

The P tubes are too big and allow 2 filaments to feed on top of each other causing a jam. A feed or print error happened causing a build up of filament which then dislogged the build plate and bent the heating nossel. No error notification or printer shutdown. Head jammed on the receiver and unable to get it off.

I’ve had nothing but anomalies once…

I’ve had nothing but anomalies once every other print. Now I got an anomaly that the motherboard shutdown out of the blue !! Very disappointing and only had it for not even two weeks !! Just add, I’m running on the newest firmware update !! My printer has been out of commission for 2 days now because of this and slowed down the workflow at home business ..technical support slow to respond!

Snapmaker 回复2026-05-26

Hi Ricardo, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience, especially after only having the U1 for less than two weeks. We completely understand how frustrating it is to encounter repeated anomalies that interrupt your workflow and impact your home business. We also appreciate you confirming that you are already running the latest firmware version and for providing the log files to our support team. Your case has now been escalated internally for further review and follow-up. Our technical team is continuing to investigate the issue based on the logs you shared. Some anomaly-related optimizations are already included in the latest firmware, and additional improvements and fixes are planned for the next firmware release scheduled for next month. We sincerely apologize as well for the delay in support responses. We understand the urgency since your machine has been out of service for the past two days, and we will continue following up on your case as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and continued cooperation while the team works on this issue. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

Could be better

There are several things that are annoying on the machine. One major thing is that when a filament get stuck the machine continues to print as if it was being fed with filament, then when another color comes into play its all spaghetti. I have lost 3 prints so far and only have had the machine for a week. On my "other" machine, it senses the stuck filament and it stops printing until the issue is resolved and I do not lose my print. I can go on for a while writing, but I will close this out for now but will notify you of other problems. Thank you

We have already escalated your case to our technical support team, and they will contact you directly today to further assist and investigate the situation in detail. We truly appreciate you taking the time to report this, and we apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused during your first week of use. Yesterday

Yesterday, May 21st, I finished assembling the Marker U1. My initial impression was—well, I'm not sure what happened—but the print job stopped due to an error at print head #2. I cleaned everything again, turned off the device, and resumed the print; however, I then left for work and received another error message. This is the third time this has happened, which I simply don't understand since the machine is brand new. The specific errors vary—the error codes change as well—but the printer itself is beautiful and appears to be of very high quality. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck actually printing anything yet; even the small dragon test print that came pre-loaded failed to print successfully. Please help!

I used a TPU 95A in toolhead #1

I used a TPU 95A in toolhead #1, managed the setting for optimal printing. The machine started to print it but then when the tool change occurred it stopped and cooled creating a jam in the tool head. Have tried to get it out using the guides Snapmaker sent me but nothing worked, maybe a bad tool head. Snapmaker has yet to honor the warranty and replace the toolhead. They keep wanting videos and did I try this or that. I just want the toolhead replaced. I did buy another one on my dime and would now like my money refunded.

Snapmaker 回复2026-05-26

Hi Kenneth, We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this issue has caused, especially after spending so much time troubleshooting and purchasing an additional toolhead yourself. We completely understand your concern regarding the warranty request. The reason our support team has continued requesting photos or videos is that TPU jams can sometimes be caused by filament deformation or printing conditions rather than a hardware defect alone. In order to properly determine whether the issue qualifies as a warranty replacement or reimbursement case, our technical team needs visual confirmation of the clogging condition and the current state of the toolhead. Without being able to confirm the internal condition of the original toolhead, we’re unfortunately unable to directly approve a replacement or refund at this stage. We truly appreciate your patience and cooperation so far, and we understand this has impacted your overall experience. Once the requested photos or videos are provided, the team will continue reviewing your case and work toward an appropriate solution as quickly as possible. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

I liked that the printer came well…

I liked that the printer came well packaged and free of damage. I hate that the only shipping option is FedEx and there is no expedited option or overnight upgrade. FedEx is absolutely terrible to deal with leaving my package arriving 3 days late, being misled and wasted time traveling to different FedEx locations after I was promised by their customer support it would be there. I have never had a good experience with FedEx and normally would not even purchase a product that only has FedEx as a shipping option, but I made an exception for this printer.

Snapmaker 回复2026-05-21

Hi Nicolas, Thank you for your feedback and for choosing our printer despite your previous experiences with FedEx. We’re very glad to hear that the printer arrived well packaged and without any damage. At the same time, we completely understand your frustration with the shipping experience. We sincerely apologize for the delays and inconvenience caused by FedEx, especially regarding the misleading pickup information and the extra time you had to spend traveling between locations. We know how disappointing that can be. Your feedback about limited shipping options and the lack of expedited or overnight delivery is very valuable to us. We will share it with our logistics and management teams for future improvements, as we understand different customers have different shipping preferences and expectations. We truly appreciate your support and exception made for our product, and we hope the printer itself will provide you with a much better experience moving forward. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

So far it’s only printed one time…

So far it’s only printed one time flawlessly, and that was the benchmark dragon. I tried printing other creations I’ve printed on my Qidi, but the Snapmaker would fail every single time, I tried calibrating and then re-printing the benchmark dragon, which failed halfway through. I’m thinking of refunding this junk.

very sensitive hot ends.

very sensitive hot ends. haven't had the printer for very long and already have had 4 hot ends break on me. if i get any kind of blobbing and not catch it right away it breaks ceramic on the hot end. Had no idea the printer was so unreliable. I would not buy another because of this issue.

Snapmaker 回复2026-05-12

Hi Mark, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with the hotends. We understand your frustration, especially after multiple hotend failures in a relatively short period. What you’ve described is not the experience we aim to deliver, and we take this matter seriously. Filament blobs can occasionally occur in 3D printing due to factors such as adhesion issues, extrusion inconsistencies, or temporary print interruptions. If not addressed promptly, they may unfortunately lead to damage to the hotend assembly, including the ceramic components. However, repeated failures of this nature are not expected, and we will prioritize your case for further review. We have already upgraded and processed your case accordingly. Please check your email inbox for the latest update and next steps. If you do not see it, kindly also check your spam or junk folder, and let us know if you need any further assistance. We look forward to your reply so we can resolve this for you properly. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

Order and shipping was fast

Order and shipping was fast. Package was received in great shape. The setup was going great until homing calibration error was thrown. The display just threw an error code. Found a solution online that had me bypass setup so I could update the firmware first then homing was successful. Maybe the initial setup can allow me option to update first.
