I ordered 4 items : 2 wool skirts, a woolen coat, and a linen blouse.
I received everything about 2 weeks after I placed my order (shipping to France) excepted the blouse, which I'm still waiting on
The 3 items I got are all made in a good quality fabric, heavy and the wool doesn't feel itchy/scratchy. All the clothes have an inner lining, the seams are nice and clean. No particular odor to be noticed
The overall shape and design of the clothes are really nice, they fall and fit really nicely. Though their XS could be even smaller, because of you're petite and thin like me, it might still be a bit to loose (I will be taking the clothes to a seamstress to have them fit perfectly)
For the people who mentionned that the sizing is different depending on the skirt models, it's because they have a different pattern. Which mean that they cannot fit the same, since they're not the same. Do pay attention to the model you order to make sure it will fit your body 😊 (some skirts have an elastic waist, others don't etc)
BUT
They should me ruin on their website and Instagram that everything is shipped from China, 2nd that their company is based there. Still, you can see and feel that the quality is very different from H&M, Shein etc.
Everything is wrapped and sent in plastic, and I do think they should really improve their packaging and un boxing experience
Be vigilant! I ordered two dresses from this website. The first one arrived after a long wait, but was too big. I then wanted to send it back, but customer support offered me a 10% refund and to go to the tailor instead. I accepted this offer but never saw the money. Furthermore, they couldn't deliver the other dress because they had run out of fabric. I was then told to choose another dress, but I didn't like any of them at the time and asked for a refund. I never saw the money either. In the end, I paid for 2 dresses, one of which didn't fit and the other never arrived.
I contacted them on Saturday I wanted to cancel my order they got back to me the next day. I thought I would have to wait until after weekend but they got back the next day.
I cancelled my order when I noticed that the products are made in China. Fortunately I was able to get a refund as I paid with paypal.
If I were you, I would avoid ordering. I'm afraid of the quality when I read the other reviews.
My hooded coat arrived quickly yesterday, it’s a warm heavy one - which is what I asked them for on private message via Instagram. Liaised with Tracy… always quick to reply. It’s a perfect fit too, except for the length. I know I’m going to have it shortened… but it’s what I had expected to do when ordering.
The order arrived to me, but it was not what I expected. I thought the dress had become a skirt, and it is available on the website. The dress was not, but when the order arrived, the skirt arrived to me 💔
Ordered a cloak, which arrived VERY quickly in time for Christmas last year. The garment is beautiful, comfortable, extremely well made. First-rate experience. Highly recommend.
The package allegedly didn't arrive because of some mistake made by the local postal service. Tracy from the Linennaive customer assistance though has been really helpful and kind throughout all the process. They sent me another package with what I had ordered and that was inside the missing package. As other people said though, the quality is not really there. The design is pretty and the colours as well, but still too pricey for what it is.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Kind and helpul. Usually replied within 24 hours, which - considering the time shift between Europe and East Asia - is quite decent.
DELIVERY:
Package was shipped 3 days after placing an order, and it arrived 16 days later (estimated time of delivery was 15 - 25 days).

I have ordered DARK AMBER 11 - ACADEMIA WOOL DRESS. The dress looks exactly like in the pictures, both material and tailoring are good quality and it is true to the size.
All in all, I am very satisfied with linennaive.
I ordered a skirt which ended up terribly expensive due to customs. The skirt wasn't fitting, the quality was poor and I asked for a refund. Linenaive repeatdly tergiversated, proposed me a discount to have it fixed at a local seamstress and altogether stopped answering when I firmly asked ofr a return.
I found the same skirt for a fraction of the price on Aliexpress. Linennaive is just a big big scam.
It seems to me that most of the reviews on this site are from people who had a negative experience and needed a way to express their frustration. The reviews on Etsy are much more positive overall (over four stars). Linennaive sells a variety of beautiful dresses with very unique, interesting designs. Prices are actually cheaper than those of comparable linen brands, and I think this is because they make the clothing themselves rather than outsource labor. I ordered the Glory 33 dress in olive, and it is beautiful. The linen is thick, and the color is rich and lovely. The dress is sewn with French seams, too.
I will note that it is difficult to return items (shipping is around $30, and customer service is not the most responsive) so I do not recommend placing an order unless you take your measurements first and are absolutely sure you want the item and that the size will fit.
Ordered two dresses. the first one shipped no problem and was received fairly quickly. When i tried to return the dress they offered me the option of shipping it to another customer instead of sending it back which was incredibly weird. I’d never want a company to have another customer send me their garment or giving out the information to someone they don’t even KNOW to get me the dress. The second dress shipped almost three weeks after the first dress. i was told after i inquired about the dress it was “being made” and would take till the end of the week. a week and a half later it still wasn’t shipped and only AFTER i threatened to dispute the charges with my card was i given any help. Coincidentally, it was shipped that day so they couldn’t refund me. how convenient.
Now the dress still hasn’t shown up, no updated tracking for almost 6 days and the dress is arriving well after the date i needed it AND i’m going to have to pay to ship the dress back.
The customer service is slow and would rather offer roundabout solutions than give you actual help.
For such expensive garments you’d think their customer care/returns would be better.
The dress i actually received was lovely, just didn’t fit quite right. Unfortunate that the garments get overshadowed by such an inconsistent company/purchase process.
As much as i’ve been dying for one of their dresses i don’t think i’ll ever purchase from this company again. It’s not worth the hassle or the money.
They should also probably be up front that you’ll need to return the dresses yourself to china. Nowhere is this mentioned until you try and start the return process. It seems like they don’t tell you a lot of this and then you’re trapped spending MORE money. I wish i never even bought from this website.
I ordered two dresses and until now only one has arrived. The dress itself is very nice, only the colour doesn't suit me, that is why I want to send it back, but the shop only told me after my over 300$ order that I had to send it to China and that the cost would be immense. (Almost as much as the dress). I couldn't complain if they would have told me earlier that I had to send it to China within seven days (I knew about the week time) and the 90$ shipping I have to pay myself. And on top of that, I would have to pay the return twice, because they didn't send the second dress within seven days. So be careful and sure you want to keep the items you buy there, as the return process is hell. But the dress is quite nice.
Delivery was not too long term - to germany - really nice dresses, wool-coat in great colours like the pictures showed. There were no hidden taxes i was worried about- everything fine. I like the material, the linen is not to stiff - wool is thinn - not too heavy. My size xs fittet to my body exactly like the service told me after naming my measures.
Will order again there - and did it already.
The dress I bought is beautiful and good quality but I'm disappointed with how long it took them to ship my dress. I placed my order on March 30th and paid 11€ for faster shipping but it took them a whole month to ship my order and then I had to wait 19 days more until I received my package (May 19th). I absolutely love the clothes Linennaive sells but I wish they wouldn't take so long to ship the order.
Order not received, customer service have lied about when it will be sent when asked
Next Friday it will have been a month since my order and I still have not received it. I was told it would be sent last week by customer service staff Tracy as “it hasn’t yet been made” (why are you selling items you don’t have in stock?) and this has still not happened. My order is over £200 value. I want an immediate refund as I do not believe it will now be sent and if I do not receive one I will be asking my bank to recall the money via a chargeback.
I ordered a hooded outlander cloak, it turned to be far too big and not the 95% Cashmere that was advertised, in fact it was only 5%Cashmere, Their customer service was very good and as I used PayPal to buy it my refund was processed after they received the item back. So I'm happy with this company.
I have a wool dress and skirt and three linen pieces and I love them. I am a size 18 and it's so nice to have classic clothing that fits my body and is feminine.
