Achieve is For Profit and will screw you with fees.
We have been with Achieve for 1 year.
They settled with 2 creditors and were "strategically waiting" to negotiate with 3 more.
In the mean time we get a Court Summons for one of the creditors that Achieve was "strategically waiting" to negotiate with.
Since Achieve settled with 2 creditors there is no money in escrow to deal with the creditors who sent the court summons.
So Achieve "kindly"offers us a loan at 26% interest so that the lawyers can deal with the court summons and deal with the rest of the debt.
The monthly payment is outrageous at 26% Interest and a Much higher monthly payment than we initially were paying and once all is done we would be paying the same as what we initially owed it debt.
Achieve negotiates down the debt and then the exorbitant fees make up the difference and you end up paying the same as the original debt!
Achieve strategy is to use panic over the lawsuit so that we will sign a high interest loan.
This was obviously the plan all along with there "strategic waiting" to negotiate with certain creditors, knowing that this would happen and then force us into a high interest loan.
Achieve is no better than the credit card companies.
Achieve is trying to strong arm with scare tactics to take the high interest loan because of the court summons.
We should have known better especially when we had to sign a Class Action Lawsuit Waiver, but all their reviews are so good.
It is all BS.
Do Not Sign with Achieve or any other For Profit Debt Management Program!

Things started out OK with Achieve Loans, but then they sold the servicing to Shellpoint. Not sure, but it seems like they are a company inside of a company. Anyway, since then, I have trouble accessing my loan online. I called for help and learned that I needed to provide a copy of my driver's license and a photo of myself. I sent those over unsecure methods (very scary). Finally, I could log in. It worked 2 times and then I receive a letter saying they were changing the way the loan interest is calculated. Now, instead of monthly, it's calculated daily, meaning I am paying even more interest. They try to make it sound like no changes are made to the loan, but do the math... they will be collecting more interest from me, boom, just like that. Be aware of try to avoid a loan with them, unless you are ready for poor service and more interest owed to them. Oh, and then, when I tried to get online and pay my loan early, I was back to the same issue where my loan information somehow cannot be accessed. So how am I supposed to pay my loan on time when I can't even access my loan. Lastly, when I check the box to make it easier to log in for 30 days, it doesn't work either; I still have to jump through all the hoops.

they take away the access to your book once you have finish your course and do not allow you to redue past assigments weater you handed them in or along with providing no practice questions only giving you attempts to redue a question if you mess it up along with telling you your answer is wrong then say the correct answer is what you put down. the app runs poorly and cant browse the podcast avablie only if the teacher provides the link to the nessacry podcast you need. this is my third semester having to use this extrernal website to learn and should be designed to be more user friendly if im spending a arm and a leg for each code. i have sctreen shot provcing everything i said if you want proof.

I receive a call from Glen who was absolutely amazing. He had reviewed my file which revealed I had never been late. He ran the numbers and came back with a much lower rate, gave me options and allowed me to decide which plan was best for me.
