Some places no internet and my 10G data got used by 7 days

Reply from Airalo2026-10-07

Hi! If your 10G data ran out in about 7 days and you also hit spots with no connection, compare the plan validity date with when you started using data. Validity is the maximum lifespan of the package, while data use depends on what your phone is doing in the background. If it still looks unexpected, tell us what you see on the screen when it shows the data usage dropping so quickly. We are here to help you stay connected on the next one!

I am having issues with some of the Regional plans purchased. They did not connect. I also have issues going from WiFi to airlo. It is not connecting.

Reply from Airalo2026-10-07

Hi! If your Regional eSIM shows no connection, switch Airplane Mode ON, then OFF to refresh the connection, then try connecting again. For the WiFi to Airalo handoff not working, our Support Chat can take a deeper look at what is happening on your account. For the hassle, and thank you for flagging it!

Basically eSIM is great

Basically eSIM is great . Did use it many time without any trouble. But recently I bought eSIM for call text and data and having hard time use my minutes . It doesn’t let me text from US to Canada . And doesn’t let me call 1800 numbers. These numbers are basically free calls from companies so I don’t have to pay for calls . Data works great and price is Okay . I believe for basic use it is great product.

Reply from Airalo2026-10-07

Hello! We’re really sorry the call and text features you bought were not working the way you expected, even though the data side ran smoothly. When calls or texts do not go through as expected, a human on our team can review your specific eSIM on the spot, so please open the Support Chat in the Airalo app and they will guide you from there. For the hassle this caused, and thank you for the clear summary of what worked and what did not.

Unclear why purchase failed

I purchased an eSIM, but the app showed a message saying it couldn’t be delivered. A refund was issued, which is fine, but there was no explanation of what caused the issue. I contacted support, but they couldn’t provide a clear explanation either. I was simply told there was an issue with the payment method and that the payment was unsuccessful. However, the payment was successfully authorized, and the amount was later refunded. So telling a customer that the payment was unsuccessful is confusing and doesn’t explain what actually went wrong. I didn't know if I should have retried or not.

Reply from Airalo2026-10-07

Hi! Share what the purchase screen showed exactly when it said it couldn't be delivered, so we can match it to what happened with your payment authorization. Thank you for explaining what you saw on the purchase screen.

a good service

It is a good service. The price increased without any advance notice. I would like a more option ( not only pay by month) and a phone option.

Reply from Airalo2026-10-07

Hi! You can pick an Airalo package for your trip, and for calling and texting, some local packages include a phone number while our Global eSIM includes one for international calls and texts. We also appreciate your suggestion on payment options beyond monthly, and we’ll keep that in mind for travelers who want more flexibility. Safe travels ahead!

Just use Saily instead - it's easier & more reliable

I've used Airalo a few times. This last time I was in Paris for 6 days and spent 2 hours trying to install my 7 day 3 GB eSIM. After the 2 hours of the team not being able to get their product working on my Google Pixel 7 Pro I was told it seems like this France eSIM is incompatible with the PARIS area... you'll have to buy a new eSIM. After pointing out the ridiculous nature of having a France specific eSIM for sale that doesn't work in the capital and most tourist rich part of France, I was compensated with a free 1 GB 5 day EU eSim... which is stupid because that's ⅓ the data I paid for and 1 day short. So I opened Saily the other eSim app I have and bought a 10€ 3 GB 7 day EU eSIM which installed in seconds automatically and worked flawlessly.

Stopped Working In Spain

In Spain. It’s been great for about two weeks. Mid-day today it just stopped working. Connected to 4/5 G networks. Everything throws a “server stopped responding” error. Perfect time to prompt for a review.

Reply from Airalo2026-10-07

Hi! We know how disruptive this is in Spain, and we are taking a closer look at the “server stopped responding” error you saw while connected to 4/5G. If that does not help, we can review what is happening on your eSIM together. This cut in mid-trip is not what we want for you, and we are working to make it right!

Im new to this so I'd like a "...for Dummies" version. Sometimes a bit too technical.

Reply from Airalo2026-10-07

Hi! We love that you tried Airalo even though the first read can feel a bit technical. We keep our instructions clear, and if you want a more 'for dummies' walk through, our Customer Support team can guide you in the in-app Support Chat whenever you need it. The setup materials you saw were not beginner-friendly for you, and thank you for telling us what you needed!

The internet in Sinai/Egypt is very slow and unlike in Greece or Thailand the 3 GB finished very fast.

I like your services availability across many continents.

Reply from Airalo2026-10-07

Hi! We want to take a deeper look at how quickly the data moved on your trip, so if you can, tell us what you saw in the app when the data seemed to slow down most during your trip. Data is based on how your phone is using it during the trip, while the validity period is the package lifespan. It got slow when you needed it most, and we really appreciate the kind words about Airalo being available across so many places!

Prices are getting much higher compared to last year. Initially the connection was not good at the airport.

Reply from Airalo2026-10-07

Hello! Toggle Airplane Mode ON, then OFF to refresh the connection when it feels shaky right at the airport. If it stays inconsistent, open the Support Chat in the Airalo app so our team can take a deeper look at what happened on your line. It sounds like it started your trip off rough, and thank you for sharing it so clearly!

The initial set up on airalo is too complicated You need to make it a lot simpler to follow from the app and how to get the mobile connected….. or people will just look for other providers to use i even used utube to get advise but that was also wrong too 😕

Reply from Airalo2026-10-07

Hi! Our team can walk you through the eSIM setup step by step, right inside the Support Chat in the Airalo app, so you get mobile data connected without guessing. It really matters after a trip's beginning, and YouTube guides can be hit or miss because the steps vary by device. It took extra tries to get there, and thank you for sharing what made it difficult.

Must have been unlucky

Must have been unlucky. When it was finally connected with help of AI Support (very good)… we then re-checked the connection although had previously turned off my UK provider it had reverted back to that one and not airalo. Was passed to a human being but even he was unable to resolve it. Wasted well over an hour and end result was no data roaming so had to request a refund. Grrrrr

Reply from Airalo2026-10-07

Hey! Start a fresh chat in the Airalo app via Support Chat and ask our human team to review your line provisioning, since your phone kept falling back to your UK provider and you ended up with no roaming data. We know this wasted your time and led you to request a refund. Thank you for sticking with it and telling us what happened!

Unstable and unreliable 5G in France

Many times, 5G sign showing but not connected to the interenet. I had to restart the internet

Installation failed on Cape Verde…

Installation failed on Cape Verde Boavista. Spoke to agents online who clearly tried to help but failed. As each attempt failed they kept asking for more and more screenshots. Decided to cut my losses and switch to Saily as installed on my wifes phone with no effort. Credit to Airalo agent honest enough to agree it was a good idea so extra star for effort and honesty
